St Mary, Our Lady of Victories Church, Dundee

Victoria Chambers is a commercial building on Victoria Street in Dundee, Scotland. Designed by newly appointed Dundee City Architect William Alexander, it is a Category B listed building dating to 1874.Cleaning work performed in the 1950s softened the building's stonework detail somewhat.The building is now halls for students of the Abertay University.

The Wellgate Shopping Centre is one of the two main shopping centres located in the city centre of Dundee, Scotland, the other being the Overgate Centre. It comprises two shopping floors and a third floor containing a food court, JD Gyms and Dundee Central Library. The centre has a variety of discount retailers, with, Home Bargains and B&M Bargains operating the largest stores within the centre. Other high-street retailers include Poundland, Savers, and Iceland. Prior to its collapse, British Home Stores operated a two-level anchor-store at the entrance of the centre, which was occupied by TJ Hughes. From its early years until the reopening of the largely-rebuilt Overgate Centre in 2000, the Wellgate was Dundee's principal shopping mall.

St Salvador's Church is a Scottish Episcopal Church building in Dundee, designed in a Gothic Revival version of the English, Welsh and Scottish Decorated Style by George Frederick Bodley (with St Bride's Church, Glasgow one of only two churches by him in Scotland). Its dedication is a medieval Scottish version of Saint Saviour's.

Abertay University (Scottish Gaelic: Oilthigh Obar Thatha [ˈɔlhɪj ˈopəɾ ˈha.ə]), formerly the University of Abertay Dundee, is a public university in the city of Dundee, Scotland. In 1872, Sir David Baxter, 1st Baronet of Kilmaron, left a bequest for the establishment of a mechanics' institute in Dundee and the Dundee Institute of Technology was formed in 1888. As early as 1902 it was recognised by the Scottish Education Department as an educational hub, and was one of the first to be designated a central institution, akin to an "industrial university". Abertay gained university status in 1994. Abertay launched the world's first computer games degree in 1997 and in 2017 held a programme of events celebrating 20 Years of Games. Abertay was also the first to offer a degree in Ethical Hacking, starting in 2006.

Hilltown (or informally, The Hilltown) in Dundee, Scotland, is a mainly residential area to the north of the City Centre and lying to the south of the main circular road.

The High School of Dundee is a private, co-educational, day school in Dundee, Scotland, which provides nursery, primary and secondary education to just over one thousand pupils. Its foundation has been dated to 1239, and it is the only private school in Dundee. The school's rector is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. The school has been registered as a charity in Scotland since July 1897.

In pursuit of this, a £1 billion master plan to regenerate and to reconnect the Waterfront to the city centre started in 2001 and is expected to be completed within a 30-year period. The V&A Dundee – the first branch of the V&A to operate outside of London – is the main centre piece of the waterfront project.In recent years, Dundee's international profile has risen. In July 1906, the city of Dundee was the site of a large fire caused by the ignition of a bonded warehouse. The fire, which burned for 12 hours, has been described as the most destructive fire in the history of Dundee. The fire was described by an eyewitness as sending "rivers of burning whisky" through the city.

The Howff is a burial ground in the city of Dundee, Scotland. Established in 1564, it has one of the most important collections of tombstones in Scotland, and is protected as a category A listed building.The majority of graves face exactly due east.

Salem Chapel is a former United Reformed Church in Dundee, Scotland. Now a Category C listed building, it was built in 1872, to a design by newly appointed Dundee City Architect William Alexander.The church, which was established in the city in 1839, held its first service in the building on 6 October 1872. It closed in 2019, after 147 years, holding its final service on 24 November.

Gardyne's Land is a complex of five historic buildings on the High Street, Dundee, Scotland. They are the oldest domestic buildings in that city.
