Kniže & Comp. is a men's outfitter from Vienna, considered the first men's fashion brand in the world. The first men's fragrance series "Knize Ten" was also created by the traditional house.

The Graben is one of the most famous squares in Vienna's first district, the city center. It begins at Stock-im-Eisen-Platz next to the Palais Equitable, and ends at the junction of Kohlmarkt and Tuchlauben. Another street in the first district is called Tiefer Graben (deep ditch). It is crossed by Wipplinger Straße by means of the Hohe Brücke, a bridge about 10 meters (33 ft) above street level.

The Deckergasse is a narrow lane (German: -gasse), in the Meidling district of Vienna, Austria, stretching from the Assmayergasse in the west to the Längenfeldgasse in the east. It was named in 1909, when the area around it was being developed, in honour of the Viennese portrait artist Georg Decker (1818–1894). The official record published by Karl Lueger, Mayor of Vienna, described him as "the outstanding Viennese painter (hervorragenden Wiener Maler)" and noted that the Deckergasse began near the end of Canalettogasse, named after Canaletto.As a pedestrian way (Fußweg), the Deckergasse crosses the Wilhelmsdorfer Park, popularly known as the Decker Park, which it divides, and the only significant building on it is a school, now called the Volksschule Deckergasse, or Parkschule VS Deckergasse, at number 1. When the park was redesigned in 1990, the Deckergasse was left open and was integrated into it.The Deckergasse is near the Längenfeldgasse station of the Vienna U-Bahn.

Dorotheergasse is a narrow lane (German: -gasse), terminating at the Graben to the north and Augustinerstraße to the south, part of the Old Town district of Vienna, Austria. It is named for the monastery of St. Dorothea, Dorotheerkloster. Dorotheergasse is home to Dorotheum, one of the world's oldest auction houses. The Jewish Museum Vienna is also located in Dorotheergasse.

The Palais Bartolotti-Partenfeld is a city-palace in central Vienna's 1st district, Inner City, on the corner of Graben and Dorotheergasse. It was originally built for the Bartolotti noble family and later bought by the Partenfeld family.

The Peterskirche (English: St. Peter's Church) is a Baroque Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna, Austria. It was transferred in 1970 by the Archbishop of Vienna Franz Cardinal König to the priests of the Opus Dei.

Café Hawelka (German: [kaˈfeː ˈhaːvelka]) is a traditional Viennese café located at Dorotheergasse 6 in the Innere Stadt, the first district of Vienna, Austria.

The Innere Stadt (German pronunciation: [ˈɪnərə ʃtat] (listen); Central Bavarian: Innare Stod) is the 1st municipal district of Vienna (German: 1. Bezirk) located in the center of the Austrian capital. The Innere Stadt is the old town of Vienna. Until the city boundaries were expanded in 1850, the Innere Stadt was congruent with the city of Vienna. Traditionally it was divided into four quarters, which were designated after important town gates: Stubenviertel (northeast), Kärntner Viertel (southeast), Widmerviertel (southwest), Schottenviertel (northwest).The Ringstraße circles the Innere Stadt along the route of the former city walls. The first district is, with a workforce of 100,745, the largest employment locale in Vienna. This is partially due to tourism, as well as the presence of many corporate headquarters due to the district's central location.

The Haas House is a building in Vienna at the Stock-im-Eisen-Platz. Designed by the Austrian architect Hans Hollein, it is a building in the postmodernist style and was completed in 1990. The building is located at the site of the former Philipp Haas & Söhne (de) flagship department store dating to 1867, destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 1953. The use of the Haas-Haus is divided between retail and a restaurant. The building is considered controversial owing to its contrast with the adjacent Stephansdom cathedral. In December 2014, Uniqa Insurance Group sold the building to the Austrian catering company Do & Co, which now uses it as their headquarters.

Palais Eskeles is a palace in Vienna, Austria. It was owned by the Jewish noble Eskeles family. Today it houses the Jewish Museum Vienna.

The Jüdisches Museum Wien, trading as Jüdisches Museum der Stadt Wien GmbH or the Jewish Museum Vienna, is a museum of Jewish history, life and religion in Austria. The museum is present on two locations, in the Palais Eskeles in the Dorotheergasse and in the Judenplatz, and has distinguished itself by a very active programme of exhibitions and outreach events highlighting the past and present of Jewish culture in Austria. The current director is Barbara Staudinger and the chief curator is Astrid Peterle.

Café Bräunerhof is a traditional Viennese café and restaurant located at Stallburggasse 2 in the Innere Stadt first district in Vienna, Austria. Bräunerhof is best known for being the preferred café of the famous Austrian writer Thomas Bernhard. Today there is a vitrine showing a picture of the author and pointing the direction to the café on a street corner nearby. Every Saturday there is live music at the café with a small orchestra playing waltzes and classical music.
