Claisebrook railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Armadale/Thornlie line, Midland line and Airport line, 1.3 kilometres from Perth station serving the suburb of East Perth.

Claisebrook railway depot (also known as Claisebrook railcar depot) is a Transperth Trains depot adjacent to Claisebrook station, at 122 Kensington Street, East Perth. When trains leave this depot, they connect with the Midland, Fremantle, Armadale, and Joondalup lines.In the 1940s, Claisebrook road depot referred to the then tramway depot adjoining the railway property in East Perth and much earlier in the 1860s the term Claisebrook depot referred to the convict depot.

Perth Rectangular Stadium, currently branded HBF Park (under a sponsorship agreement with HBF Health Fund) and previously called Perth Oval, is a sports stadium in Perth, the capital of the Australian state of Western Australia. Located close to Perth's central business district, the stadium currently has a maximum capacity of 20,500 people for sporting events and 25,000 people for concerts, with the ground's record attendance of 32,000 people set during an Ed Sheeran concert in 2015. The land on which the stadium was built, known as Loton Park, was made a public reserve in 1904, with the main ground developed several years later. From 1910 until 2002, it was known as Perth Oval and was the home ground of the East Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). It hosted several of the competition's grand finals during that time. In 2004, the ground was redeveloped, altering it from an oval field to a rectangular field. The ground is currently home to two major professional sporting clubs: Perth Glory FC, a soccer team competing in the A-League, and the Western Force, a rugby union team playing in the Super Rugby Pacific competition. The ground is also used by the West Coast Pirates, a semi-professional rugby league team competing in the S. G. Ball Cup, as well as for concerts.

East Perth Locomotive Depot (also known as East Perth loco sheds) was a major steam locomotive depot for the Western Australian Government Railways from a year before the end of the First World War in 1917 until the end of the steam railway era on its railway system in 1970/1971. The previous locomotive depot had been located west of the Perth railway station.It was also commonly known as East Perth loco sheds and also the East Perth Depot.The depot was operational from 1917. There was a turntable at the western end of the yard. It was located just east of the main railway terminus for the system at what is now Perth station. It was removed in 1969 to make way for the new East Perth railway station and the Westrail Centre that centralised railway administration offices of the government railway system, that had previously been scattered around a large number of buildings near the Perth station.In the late twentieth century numbers of former employees who had worked at the depot, were interviewed for the oral history record.Organised labour had reason to strike and raise issues of conditions during the existence of the depot. Some complaints had also been made collectively without union involvement.

Claise Brook is a stream which empties into Claisebrook Cove before running into the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. The area surrounding the stream is on the outskirts of the Perth CBD and is part of the suburb of East Perth. Claise Brook was once an important water course from which the numerous interconnected fresh water lakes north of Perth emptied into during the wet season before entering the Swan River.

Restaurant Amusé was a restaurant in East Perth, Western Australia. It won many awards, including Restaurant of the Year and Best Fine Dining Restaurant in the national finals of the Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards For Excellence 2010.The restaurant's chef, Hadleigh Troy, was trained by leading Perth chefs Alain Fabregues and Neal Jackson. He later worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in the United Kingdom, and for Gordon Ramsay.Restaurant Amusé offered only a degustation menu. It was given a two star rating, and the award for Restaurant of the Year, by The West Australian Good Food Guide 2013, and retained its two star rating for 2014. The restaurant was also named the best restaurant in Western Australia for eight consecutive years by Gourmet Traveller. Although the restaurant, owned by Troy and his wife Carolynne, was tipped to fail when it opened, was phenomenally successful, and by 2012 Saturday nights were fully booked at least two months in advance.After a decade in business the couple chose to close its doors at the end of their lease in 2017 in order to concentrate on family time.
