Unley Park railway station is located on the Belair line in suburban Adelaide. Situated seven kilometres from Adelaide station, it is on the boundary between Hawthorn and Westbourne Park, on the south side of Cross Road.

Westbourne Park is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, the State capital of South Australia. The suburb was named after Westbourne, a village in Sussex, England, and was laid out in 1881. Located in the City of Mitcham, the suburb's boundaries are Cross Road, Goodwood Road, Grange Road, Sussex Terrace and the Belair train line.

Heywood Park is a public park in the suburb of Unley Park in Adelaide, South Australia. It is home to the last remaining Grey Box gum trees (Eucalyptus microcarpa) on the Adelaide plains, some of which pre-date European settlement. The park takes its name from the place of birth of William Haslam, the property's last private owner; Heywood in Lancashire, England. The City of Unley council purchased the property and it was officially opened to the public on 10 December 1921. Today, the park is popular with families and children, in part due its "huge, magnificent, thick-trunked trees." As of 2014, a number of these have been marked for removal following concerns about falling branches and public safety. Some community members have raised concerns about the tree removals' impact on the park's amenity, wildlife habitat value and cultural significance to the Kaurna people of the Adelaide plains.

Unley Park is a southern suburb of Adelaide in the City of Unley. Its postcode is 5061. It is located on the north side of Cross Road and east of the Belair railway line. Access via public transport is from the Unley Park railway station, Millswood railway station and the Unley Road "Go Zone". A feature of the district is leafy Victoria Avenue—Adelaide's wealthiest street, containing many large and luxurious houses built between the two World Wars.Politically, the suburb is safe for the Liberals; at the 2010 election, the Liberal Party attracted 62.33% of the primary vote at the nearby Hyde Park polling booth.

Kings Park is a very small, triangular shaped suburb of Adelaide in the City of Unley surrounded by Goodwood Road (west), Cross Road (south) and the Belair railway line (northeast). It is served by two railway stations; Millswood is on the northern boundary of the suburb and Unley Park is adjacent to the southeast corner of the suburb.

Australian Dance Theatre (ADT), known as Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre 1993–1999, is a contemporary dance company based in Adelaide, South Australia, established in 1965 by Dr. Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM. The ADT was the first modern dance company in Australia, and drew on the techniques of Martha Graham for its inspiration. The company has garnered 28 industry awards since 2002, was the first Australian company invited to the Edinburgh Festival, and is the only Australian company to be invited to perform at Théâtre de la Ville in Paris. The company has toured performances extensively throughout Australia as well as internationally. As of 2022 the artistic director of the company is Daniel Riley, who took over after Garry Stewart had spent 22 years at the helm.

Cumberland Park is an inner-southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Mitcham.

Mitcham Girls High School, located in Kingswood, is the only single-sex government high school in the state of South Australia. It has approximately 850 students in grades 7 to 13. As the school is unzoned, it attracts students from all across the Adelaide metropolitan area as well as some regional locations.

Hyde Park is an inner-southern suburb of Adelaide in the City of Unley. It features King William Road, a popular shopping and dining destination in Adelaide. It has some of Adelaide's expensive or luxurious houses. Millswood railway station and the Belair railway line are close to Hyde Park. Cabra Dominican College is a private, independent Catholic high school located at Cumberland Park, an inner-southern suburb in Adelaide, South Australia. It was established by an order of Dominican sisters from Cabra, Dublin in February 1886 with nine sisters, and caring for 37 boarders and 4-day girls. Originally offering a co-educational primary education and a high school education for girls, it began accepting boys into the high school in 1978.The school caters for about 1,200 students and serveseducational year grades from middle school to senior school (grade 7 to 13). The college also offers a grade 13 for those who wish to further their education or if further education is necessary. The college also accepts many international students from countries including Japan and Italy.The college is distinguished by its rust coloured blazers – with the school colour scheme being gold, red, black and white.
