Downtown Dadeland

Dadeland Mall is a large enclosed shopping mall located in Kendall, Florida, in the Dadeland district. The mall, originally developed by the Joseph Meyerhoff Company of Baltimore, opened October 1, 1962 as a 535,000-square-foot (49,700 m2), open-air complex of 60 stores and services. The Dadeland South station is located just south of the mall. The mall features JCPenney, Macy's, Macy's Home Gallery and Kids, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Toscano (formerly known as Dadeland Fairfield) is a group of residential condos in the Dadeland neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. Toscano consists of two connected residential structures; Toscano North Tower, a low-rise building and Toscano South Tower, a high rise tower to the south. The south tower is 280 ft tall with retail space at street level and also contains the main lobby for both buildings. The street level of the north tower consist almost entirely of retail space currently occupied by Rooms To Go. The remaining six floors are exclusively residential condo units. Construction took three years (2004-2007) to complete both buildings. The north tower was completed in 2006 and the south tower was completed in 2007.

Town Center One is a high-rise building located in Dadeland, an urban area in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida. Constructed from 2007 to 2009, it contains class A commercial office space and was built near the end of the United States housing bubble of the 2000s. The building reaches a height of about 295 feet (90 m), making it one of the taller buildings in Dadeland. The building stands out for its dark green glass curtain wall façade. This was the result of a design change; as the name implies, the building was intended to be the first of several buildings in a mixed-use development. Due to poor market conditions and a regional overbuilding of office space, the building sat largely vacant until several years after completion. In 2011, the majority of units went into foreclosure when a construction loan could not be repaid, which led to the restructuring of the building's finances in 2012 by its anchor tenant, BMI Companies.

Metropolis at Dadeland is a pair of skyscraper condos in the Dadeland neighborhood of Kendall, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. Metropolis at Dadeland consists of two near identical residential towers, Metropolis One and Metropolis Two. The towers provide retail and dining space on the street level, while the remaining floors are residential condo units. Specifically, floors two though seven are loft style units surrounding nine floors of parking. Floors eight through twenty-six are condo units and Penthouse units at the top. Floor eight contains most of the buildings amenities such as two pools, his and her saunas, library/work center, fitness center, club room with pool tables, and a Jacuzzi. Both towers stand at a height (architectural) of 313.58 ft. Construction took three years (2003-2006) to complete both towers. The Snapper Creek is a creek in the U.S. state of Florida that drains out of the Everglades into Biscayne Bay at Biscayne National Park. It is a 4-mile (6.4 km) long creek 15 miles (24 km) south of Downtown Miami, running through the suburbs of Kendall and Coral Gables in metropolitan Miami. The creek extends from Biscayne Bay inland to the Snapper Creek Canal, which extends 10 miles (16 km) further to the Everglades.

Dadeland South station is a transfer station on the Metrorail rapid transit system in the Dadeland district of Kendall, Florida. It is the southern terminus of the Metrorail system and the northern terminus of the South Dade TransitWay (a BRT corridor). It is the southernmost passenger rail station in the Continental United States. This station is located near the intersection of Dadeland Boulevard and Datran Boulevard, adjacent to South Dixie Highway (US 1), three blocks southwest of Kendall Drive and Dadeland Mall, and just east of the US 1–Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) junction. It opened to service May 20, 1984.The station serves Downtown Dadeland as well as local shopping centers Dadeland Mall and Town Center One.

This station is located at the intersection of South Dixie Highway (US 1) and Southwest 83rd Street on the Snapper Creek, two blocks north of Kendall Drive and two blocks south from the US 1–Snapper Creek Expressway (SR 878) junction. It opened to service May 20, 1984.It is located along the border of Kendall and Glenvar Heights, two census-designated places. The station is in both areas.Dadeland North serves the communities of Dadeland, Glenvar Heights, Kendall, and Pinecrest, as well as serving the Dadeland Station and Dadeland Mall shopping centers.
