BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center

The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is a public community college in New York City. Founded in 1963 as part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, BMCC grants associate degrees in a wide variety of vocational, business, health, science, engineering and continuing education fields. BMCC's original campus was scattered all over midtown Manhattan, utilizing office spaces, hotel conference rooms, and various spaces throughout Manhattan. In the mid-1970s, CUNY began scouting for suitable property on which to erect a new campus of its own. The current campus has been in use since 1983.Currently, with an enrollment of over 27,000 students the BMCC student body is nearly two-thirds female and has a median age of 24, with attending students hailing from over 100 different countries. The Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development at BMCC serves more than 11,000 students who complete non-credit bearing and certificate programs in allied health, information technology and media arts, career training and personal development, English as a Second Language and other areas. Another 10,000 students are enrolled in distance education programs. BMCC has a faculty of nearly 1,000 full-time and adjunct professors.

Washington Market Park is an urban park located in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. The park, which is bounded by Greenwich, Chambers, and West Streets, covers 1.61-acre (6,500 m2). The park also has community gardens and a large playground and hosts many community events.

On October 31, 2017, Sayfullo Habibullaevich Saipov drove a rented pickup truck into cyclists and runners for about one mile (1.6 kilometers) of the Hudson River Park's bike path alongside West Street from Houston Street south to Chambers Street in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The vehicle-ramming attack killed eight people, six of whom were foreign tourists, and injured eleven others. After crashing the truck into a school bus, Saipov exited, apparently wielding two guns (later found to be a paintball gun and a pellet gun). He was shot in the abdomen by a policeman and arrested. A flag and a document indicating allegiance to the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) were found in the truck. A federal grand jury indicted 29-year-old Saipov, who had immigrated to the United States from Uzbekistan in 2010, with eight murders in the aid of racketeering, twelve attempted murders in the aid of racketeering, destruction of a motor vehicle and providing material support for a terrorist organization. This was the second terrorist attack allegedly committed by a winner of the Diversity Immigrant Visa lottery, following the 2002 Los Angeles International Airport shooting. After the attack, anti-vehicle bollards were installed on the Hudson River Park bike path.

The Tribeca Dog Run is a 4,000-square-foot (370 m2) public park located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is located on Warren Street between Greenwich Street and West Street in the Tribeca neighborhood.

The College of Insurance (TCI) was a specialized accredited college, started by insurance industry leaders in 1901 as an insurance library society, the Insurance Society of New York (ISNY). The Insurance Society of New York initially provided study space and material to young people entering the insurance industry, and served as a site for insurance lectures. Over the years, ISNY developed a curriculum based upon these lectures. The curriculum ultimately led to the creation of The School of Insurance, followed by The College of Insurance. The College of Insurance offered bachelor's and master's degrees in insurance and actuarial science. It provided professional exam preparatory seminars for insurance and actuarial science designations and held classes after business hours for working professionals in New York City. At its largest, total enrollment was approximately 400. Among the benefits of the college was its co-operative program. Although most students were employed by local insurers prior to enrolling at TCI, others were placed with an insurer who paid the student and often subsidized the student's tuition.

The Chambers Street Ferry Terminal was the Erie Railroad's main ferry slip on Manhattan and the point of departure and embarkation for passengers in New York City. The terminal was one of several operated by ferry companies and railroads that lined the western shore of Manhattan during the 19th and 20th centuries. The Pavonia Ferry operated for over 100 years from the terminal, which was demolished about three years after the Erie Railroad stopped its ferry service to Chambers Street in December, 1958.

Stuyvesant High School (pronounced ), commonly referred to among its students as Stuy (pronounced ), is a public magnet, college-preparatory, specialized high school in New York City, United States. Operated by the New York City Department of Education, these specialized schools offer tuition-free accelerated academics to city residents. Stuyvesant was established as an all-boys school in the East Village of Manhattan in 1904. An entrance examination was mandated for all applicants starting in 1934, and the school started accepting female students in 1969. Stuyvesant moved to its current location at Battery Park City in 1992 because the student body had become too large to be suitably accommodated in the original campus. The old building now houses several high schools. Admission to Stuyvesant involves passing the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test. Every March, the 800 to 850 applicants with the highest SHSAT scores out of the around 30,000 eighth- and ninth-graders who apply to Stuyvesant are accepted. The school has a wide range of extracurricular activities, including a theater competition called SING! and two student publications. Stuyvesant consistently ranks among the top schools in the nation. Based on a Niche report, Stuyvesant High School ranks as the #1 public high school in New York State and ranks #6 nationally among public high schools in the United States. Notable alumni include former United States Attorney General Eric Holder, physicists Brian Greene and Lisa Randall, economist Thomas Sowell, chemist Roald Hoffmann, genome researcher Eric Lander, and comedian Billy Eichner. Stuyvesant is one of only six secondary schools worldwide that has educated four or more Nobel laureates.

Huso is a Michelin-starred restaurant located on Greenwich Street in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. The restaurant opened in 2023 on the Upper East Side and moved to TriBeCa in 2025 after a fire.

111 Murray Street (formerly known as 101 Murray Street or 101 Tribeca) is a residential skyscraper completed in 2018 in Manhattan, New York City. Developed by Witkoff Group and Fisher Brothers, the building is located at the intersection of Murray and West Streets, in the Financial District and Tribeca neighborhoods and close to Battery Park City.

101 Warren Street (also known as 270 Greenwich Street) is a 35-story apartment building in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, New York City, between Greenwich Street and West Street. The project was developed by Edward J. Minskoff Equities, designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, and completed in 2008. It consists of 227 condominiums and 163 rental units. 101 Warren Street was designed with a distinctive, elongated "checkerboard" facade. It contains a Whole Foods Market and a Barnes & Noble store. Its double-height lobbies have murals by Roy Lichtenstein, while the fifth floor contains an "Artrium" with a pine tree forest consisting of 101 trees.An earlier building at 101 Warren Street, the Tarrant Building, was destroyed by an explosion and fire in October 1900. The Mattlage Building, a 12-story office building, was later built at the site and numbered as 97–101 Warren Street. In 1942, the building was sold by a person or company identified as "Irving". It was announced in 1951 that the building would be auctioned off. In 1957, Office Structure bought the building. By August 2001, an office building was being proposed for the two blocks bounded by West, Greenwich, Warren, and Murray Streets; at the time, one block of Washington Street still ran from Warren to Murray Street. 101 Warren Street was being developed on the site by 2006, and was finished by 2008.

Warren Street was an express station on the demolished IRT Ninth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had three tracks, one island platform and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Ninth Avenue Line. It opened on February 14, 1870 and closed on June 11, 1940. The next southbound local stop was Barclay Street The next southbound express stop was Cortlandt Street. The next northbound local stop was Franklin Street. The next northbound express stop was Desbrosses Street.
