The Augustinianum College (Italian: Collegio Augustinianum) is a college founded in Milan, Italy in 1933 by Agostino Gemelli, in order to offer the opportunity to study at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to the most capable among the resident students, providing a bed during their university studies.

The Tempio della Vittoria or Temple of the Victory, also called the Shrine of the Fallen (Soldiers) of Milan is a monumental chapel building located on largo Agostino Gemelli, just north of the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and southwest of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, region of Lombardy, Italy.

The Pusterla di Sant’Ambrogio (Saint Ambrose postern in English) was originally built in 1171 after the city was destroyed by Frederik I Barbarossa in 1162. This postern was one of the ten secondary gates of Milan medieval walls. When in the 16th century the new set of city walls went up (under the Spanish domination of the city), the Pusterla of Saint Ambrose was turned into a prison. In 1939 this postern was completely restored with the original features. The Pusterla di Sant’Ambrogio is sited near the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, one of the most ancient and important churches in Milan. Above the two arches of the door there is a tabernacle with Saint Ambrose, the patron of Milan, Saint Gervase and Saint Protase.

Castello Cova ("Cova Castle"), also known as Palazzo Viviani Cova ("Viviani-Cova Palace") is a historical building in Milan, northern Italy, close to the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio. Built between 1910 and 1915 on a design by architect Adolfo Coppedè (brother of the more famous Gino Coppedè), it is an example of Gothic Revival architecture, with guelph-style merlons decorating the external rusticated walls as well as the middle-ages styled tower. The tower of Castello Cova was reportedly an inspiration for the architects of the Velasca Tower, a landmark skyscraper in the centre of Milan. The Pusterla di Sant'Ambrogio, an ancient postern of the Medieval walls of Milan facing Castello Cova, was recreated in the late 1930s in a style that matches the Revival style of the Castello.

The Archaeological Museum of Milan (Civico Museo Archeologico di Milano in Italian) is located in the ex-convent of the Monastero Maggiore, alongside the ancient church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, with entrance on Corso Magenta. The first part of the museum, sited in the original site of Corso Magenta, is dedicated to the history of Mediolanum (ancient Milan) founded in the 4th century BC and conquered by the ancient Romans in 222 BC. In the basement floor there is also a small section about Gandhara's arts. The inner cloister, where Roman remains (1st-3rd century AD) and two medieval towers are visible, connects the first part of the museum with the new building sited in via Nirone. In this part of the Archaeological Museum of Milan are sited, on four floors, the Early Middle Ages section, the Etruscan section, the Ancient Greek section and the temporary exhibition room. In the Middle Ages polygonal tower sited in the inner cloister are exposed a Domenico Paladino sculpture donated by the artist to the museum that fits in the frescoed medieval structure. Collections of the museum from prehistoric and Egyptian civilisations are housed at the Castello Sforzesco Museums.Statues and tombs from ancient Rome are displayed along the cloisters of the former monastery, and a path leads from the cloisters to a "polygonal tower (late third century) with early medieval frescoes (thirteenth century) and comes out in the new museum in Via Nirone where the early medieval section is on the first floor."

San Bernardino alle Monache is a Renaissance style church on Via Lanzone 13 in central Milan, Italy. This was originally a chapel within the nunnery of St Bernard. The monastery no longer exists. It was built around 1447 to designs by Pietro Antonio Solari. The interior contains frescoes from the 15th century and before. Some are attributed to Vincenzo Foppa. The church was restored in the last century.

San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore is a church in Milan, Northern Italy. It was originally attached to the most important female convent of the Benedictines in the city, Monastero Maggiore, which is now in use as the Civic Archaeological Museum. The church today is used every Sunday from October to June to celebrate in the Byzantine Rite, in Greek according to the Italo-Albanian tradition. It is also used as concert hall.

Sant'Ambrogio is an underground station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro. It was opened on 30 October 1983 as part of the extension of the line from Cadorna to Porta Genova. The station takes the name from nearby Basilica of Saint Ambrose. The station is located at the intersection of Via Giosuè Carducci and Via San Vittore, in Municipality 1, close to the Catholic University and the Milan National Museum of Science and Technology. It is one of the stations on Line 2 with no central support columns between the two tracks, similarly to Moscova and Loreto. The station will serve as a transfer point to the currently under construction Line 4, scheduled to open in 2024, through an open-air passage next to the Saint Ambrose Postern.
