The Ricardo Montalbán Theatre (usually referred to as just The Montalbán) is a theater in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles.

The Beverly Hills Little Theatre for Professionals, which grew out of a nationwide little theatre movement, was a playhouse founded by actor Harold Lloyd and others in 1931 in Beverly Hills, California. It was originally at the Wilkes Vine Street Theatre, now renamed the Ricardo Montalbán Theater, and some years later moved to a renovated location on Santa Monica Boulevard. The venue was a 400-seat theater, with the names of the founder-subscribers inscribed on the backs of the seats. An article in Variety stated that Lloyd's mother Elisabeth Fraser Lloyd (listed as Sarah Elisabeth Fraser), Gladys Lloyd Cassell (wife of Edward G. Robinson), and Sam Hardy served on the "coin-raising" (fundraising) committee.

Hollywood Memorial Church, also known as Hollywood Methodist Episcopal Church, was a church and community landmark located at the southeast corner of Prospect Avenue (now Hollywood Boulevard) and Weyse Avenue (now Vine Street) in what is now Hollywood, California. It was built by the German Methodist Church on land owned by Daeida Beveridge in 1903, and featured a four-story steeple and Mission Revival architecture. In 1923, it was bought for $125,000 by A.Z. Taft Jr., who tore it down and built the Taft Building in its place.

Hollywood and Vine, the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood, a district of Los Angeles, became known in the 1920s for its concentration of radio and movie-related businesses. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is centered on the intersection. Few production facilities are still located in the immediate area. One of the few remaining is the Capitol Records Tower to the north of the intersection. The namesake subway station for the Metro B Line is located directly below the intersection, but the entrance/exit to the station is located one block east at Hollywood and Argyle Avenue. It was consolidated with the city of Los Angeles in 1910 and soon thereafter a prominent film industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognizable in the world.
