The Presidential and Vice-Presidential Artifacts Museum (Chinese: 總統副總統文物館; pinyin: Zǒngtǒngfù Zǒngtǒng Wénwùguǎn) is a museum located in Academia Historica, Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. The museum's collection includes collections and archives belonging to previous Presidents of the Republic of China. The collection also includes furniture and artwork which belonged to previous Presidents as well a digital reading room which contains 1,100 publications and 687 books related to ROC presidents.

The China Women's Federation (traditional Chinese: 婦聯總會; simplified Chinese: 妇联总会; pinyin: Fùlián Zǒnghuì) building is a registered historic site in Taipei, Taiwan. It is located on Changsha Street in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei.

Academia Historica (Chinese: 國史館) is the national institution of historical research of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Founded in Nanjing in 1947 and re-established in Taiwan in 1957, the institution is under the direct administration of the Office of the President. The institution is tasked with recording national history, collecting, compiling, and preserving historical collections, as well as conserving the relics associated with the Presidents and Vice Presidents of the Republic of China. Due to the retreat to Taiwan in 1949, its archives on the Mainland haven been transferred to the Second Historical Archives of China and China Modern History Museum in Nanjing.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of China (Chinese: 中華民國最高法院; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Mínguó Zuìgāo Fǎyuàn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-hôa Bîn-kok Chòe-ko Hoat-īⁿ) is the court of last resort in the Republic of China (Taiwan), except matters regarding interpretation of the Constitution and unifying the interpretation of laws and orders which are decided by the Constitutional Court of the Judicial Yuan.

Zhongshan Hall (Chinese: 中山堂; pinyin: Zhōngshān Táng) is a historical building which originally functioned as the Taipei (Taihoku) City Public Auditorium (public hall). It is located at 98 Yanping South Road in the Ximending neighborhood of Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. In 1992, it was recognized by the government as a historic site.

The Presidential Office Building is the work place of the President of the Republic of China on Taiwan. The building, located in the Zhongzheng District in the national capital — Taipei, was designed by architect Uheiji Nagano during the period of Japanese rule of Taiwan (1895–1945). The structure originally housed the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan. Damaged in Allied bombing during World War II, the building was restored after the war by Chen Yi, the Governor-General of Taiwan Province. It became the Presidential Office in 1950 after the government of the Republic of China lost control of mainland China and relocated the nation's capital to Taipei at the end of the Chinese Civil War. At present, this Baroque-style building is a symbol of the Government and a famous historical landmark in downtown Taipei.

The Supreme Prosecutors Office (traditional Chinese: 最高檢察署; simplified Chinese: 最高检察署; pinyin: Zuìgāo Fǎyuàn Jiǎnchá Shǔ; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chòe-ko Kiám-chhat Sú) is the highest prosecution authority in the Republic of China, commonly known as Taiwan.

Ximen (Chinese: 西門, formerly transliterated as Hsimen Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. The station is named after the former west gate of the city, whose location is roughly where the current station is located.

The Bo'ai Special Zone is a restricted zone in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan, which was established to protect the Presidential Office Building. As part of the historical center of Taipei, the zone also houses several critical government office buildings as well as historic sites.

The Republic of China Armed Forces Museum (AFM; Chinese: 國軍歷史文物館; pinyin: Guójūn Lìshǐ Wénwùguǎn) is a museum located on Guiyang Street in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was opened on October 31, 1961, under the administration of the Republic of China Ministry of National Defense Department of History and Translation Office. The Museum aims to show the ROC military heritage of different periods and to inform the public about the military. The museum encompasses 3 floors.

Ximending (sometimes Hsimenting, Chinese: 西門町; pinyin: Xīméndīng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Se-mn̂g-teng; Tâi-lô: Se-mn̂g-ting; Japanese Romaji: Seimon-chō) is a neighborhood and shopping district in the Wanhua District of Taipei, Taiwan, along with its main rival, the Eastern District of Taipei.
