Vinoy Park

The Vinoy Hotel (also known as The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection) is an historic Mediterranean Revival-style hotel opened in 1925 as the Vinoy Park Hotel. It is located in St. Petersburg, Florida at 501 Fifth Avenue Northeast, on the bayfront area of downtown, overlooking the Vinoy Yacht Basin. The hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The St. Petersburg Pier, officially known as the St. Pete Pier, is a landmark pleasure pier extending into Tampa Bay from downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. Over the years several different structures have been built at the same location. The most recent structure, the third owned by the city, was a five-story inverted pyramid-shaped building, designed by St. Petersburg architect William B. Harvard, Sr. That Inverted Pyramid Pier was closed in 2013, and the new 26-acre Pier District opened on July 6, 2020. The $92 million dollar project includes five restaurants, a playground, an environmental education center, and numerous artworks including work by Xenobia Bailey, Nathan Mabry, Nick Ervinck, and a large sculpture entitled Bending Arc by Janet Echelman. Its opening was scheduled for May 30, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Florida.

The St. Petersburg Museum of History (SPMOH) is a history museum located in St. Petersburg, Florida, dedicated to covering the area's history. As of 2020, the museum's director is Rui Farias.The museum was founded by Mary Wheeler Eaton in 1920 as the St. Petersburg Memorial Historical Society. The city of St. Petersburg granted the organization the site after the 1921 Tampa Bay hurricane destroyed the aquarium standing on the land. It is the oldest museum in Pinellas County. The mission of the museum is to collect, preserve, and communicate the history and heritage of Florida with an emphasis on St. Petersburg and the Pinellas peninsula. The museum hosts a variety of traveling exhibits, evening events, guest speakers, and more. The St. Petersburg Museum of History has a significant archive that includes over 5,000 indexed city photographs, 32,000 artifacts, and other historic photos and documents. Notable holdings include a plus-sized pair of pajamas owned by William Howard Taft; a full-sized replica of the Benoist XIV aircraft; reading glasses owned by George Armstrong Custer; and the largest collection of signed baseballs in the world (called "Little Cooperstown").Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum was closed from March 2020 through July 8, 2020. The pandemic also derailed plans for actor Tom Hanks to sign the 5,000th baseball in the museum's collection.The museum is set to expand; artist Ya La’ford, is creating an aluminum sculpture called Intersections to wrap around the new building expansion.

Parkshore Plaza is a 29-story skyscraper located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Before the Parkshore Plaza announcement, another tower called The Villas One was going to be constructed in the same lot. Original construction of the Villas was going to begin in 2002, however was cancelled in late 2002. After the cancellation of the first tower, the Parkshore Plaza was announced in early 2003. Construction of the tower began in 2004, and was completed by the summer of 2006. At 108.2 m (355 ft), it was the tallest condominium tower in St. Petersburg until 2009, following the constriction of two new condominium towers Ovation and Signature Place. The Parkshore Plaza contains 117 total units, 96 of which are located in the tower itself and 21 are city-homes.

Sundial St. Pete, formerly known as The Shops at St. Pete, and BayWalk, is a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. It opened in May 2014 with a mixture of restaurants, markets, nightlife, and shopping. As of April 2015, businesses include Locale Market, Lululemon, White House Black Market, Tommy Bahama, Chico's, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Sea Salt restaurant and Jackie Z Style Co. The complex also features a 12-screen AMC Theatre which was originally a Muvico. While the outdoor Muvico signs remain intact for the time being, slight changes have been made inside to reflect the recent acquisition of Carmike Cinemas by AMC.

The Ponce De Leon Boutique Hotel, also known as Hotel Ponce De Leon in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a historic landmark and Mission Revival hotel in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 95 Central Avenue, and on the corner of 10 Beach Drive. It was added to the Pinellas County Historic Preservation Committee in December 1997 (HPC #97-04).

Signature Place is a 36-story skyscraper located on 1st Street South in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Construction started in December 2007 and finished in 2009. At 116.1 m (381 ft.), Signature Place is the third tallest skyscraper and the second tallest residential skyscraper in St. Petersburg. The residential skyscraper contains 243 residential units.

One St. Petersburg is a 41-story high rise condominium located in the city of St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. Standing 450 feet (140 m) tall, it is the tallest building in St. Petersburg and Pinellas County. The high rise contains 253 condominium rooms that range from 1,400 to 2,500 square feet. The building's second high rise includes a hotel across the lot with 174 rooms, 13 stories high. The ground level of the building contains retail space. Construction began on November 16, 2015, and was completed in 2019, after a delay from the original planned date of 2018.

The North Shore Historic District, commonly known as Old Northeast or Historic Old Northeast, is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on February 20, 2003) located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The district, located adjacent to Downtown, is bounded by 4th Street N, 5th Avenue N, Tampa Bay, and 30th Ave N. It contains 2975 historic buildings and 4 objects. This area is mostly residential but does contain some retail, dining, parks and city landmarks. It also has been featured in the "Great Homes and Destinations" section of the New York Times.

The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art is a museum located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The museum was founded by businessman Thomas James, and opened in 2018. The museum has thousands of pieces from the James' collection, including both contemporary and traditional works. Tom and Mary James spent $75 million creating the Museum. The building uses veined sandstone to mimic the look of American Southwestern canyons, with carvings reminiscent of Mese Verde cliff dwellings. Weathered copper and turquoise panels evoke images of the Native American turquoise jewelry that is on display within the museum.

The First Methodist Church of St. Petersburg (also known as the First United Methodist Church of St. Petersburg) is a historic church in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 212 3rd Street, North. On September 13, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Rays Ballpark was the name used in project documents for a ballpark in the current location of Al Lang Stadium on the Tampa Bay waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, proposed by the Tampa Bay Rays as a replacement for Tropicana Field. The Rays had hoped to complete the park in time for the 2012 season, but the proposal did not garner enough public support, and the project was abandoned.
