Phnom Penh International Airport (Khmer: អាកាសយានដ្ឋានអន្តរជាតិភ្នំពេញ; French: Aéroport international de Phnom Penh) (IATA: PNH, ICAO: VDPP) is the busiest and largest airport in Cambodia, occupying a land area of 386.5 hectares. It is located in the Pou Senchey District, 10 kilometres (5.4 NM) west of Phnom Penh, the nation's capital. The Techo Takhmao International Airport is under construction about 30–40 kilometres (16–22 NM) south of Phnom Penh, in the Kandal Province, which is expected to be fully operational by 2025.

Vietnam Airlines Flight 815 was a scheduled Vietnam Airlines flight which crashed on final approach to Phnom Penh International Airport in Cambodia on September 3, 1997. The Soviet-built Tupolev Tu-134B-3 airliner crashed approximately 800 metres (2,600 ft; 870 yd) short of the Phnom Penh runway, killing 65 of the 66 people on board. Upon investigation, the crash was determined to have been the result of improper actions by the pilot.

Tuek Thla (Khmer: ទឹកថ្លា [tɨk.tʰlaː]) is a commune (sangkat) of Sen Sok District (previously in Russey Keo District) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco has been running a Don Bosco Vocation Training Centre for Girls at Tuek Thla, Phnom Penh since 1983.

Kamboul (Khmer: ខណ្ឌកំបូល) is a district (khan) located in western Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It was formerly a part of Kandal Province before being integrated into Phnom Penh. This khan was created on January 8, 2019, according to sub-decree 04 អនក្រ.បក by taken 6 sangkats from Khan Pou Senchey, and 1 sangkat (Sangkat Prateah Lang) from Khan Dangkao. It has a population of 75,529.

Cambodian Mekong University (CMU) is a private university located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is registered as a private higher education institution with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The university was established in 2003. The current chancellor is Mr.Ban Thero, a graduate of Southern Cross University and the University of Adelaide.

The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP; Khmer: សាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទភ្នំពេញ; French: Université royale de Phnom Penh) is a national research university of Cambodia, located in the Phnom Penh capital. Established in 1960, it is the country's largest university. It hosts around 20,000 students in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It offers degrees in fields such as sciences, humanities and social sciences, engineering as well as vocational courses in fields such as information technology, electronics, psychology and tourism. RUPP provides Cambodia's foremost degree-level language programmes through the Institute of Foreign Languages. RUPP has full membership in the ASEAN University Network (AUN). RUPP has over 420 full-time staff. All of its 294 academic staff hold tertiary qualifications, including 24 PhDs and 132 Master's degrees. They are supported by 140 administrative and maintenance staff. The university maintains linkage networks with Cambodian and international NGOs, universities and government ministries. As a result, international and non-government organisations and government offices regularly contribute adjunct faculty members to help expand RUPP's capacity.

The Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) is an institute under the Royal University of Phnom Penh Campus. It consists of the department of Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and International Studies.

The Royal University of Phnom Penh station or 261 Intersection is a station on Line 03 of the Phnom Penh BRT bus rapid transit network in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, located on the Russian Confederation Boulevard. It is located outside of the Royal University of Phnom Penh at the intersection with Street 261.

The National Pediatric Hospital of Cambodia (NPH) is a government-run pediatric hospital located in Phnom Penh. The hospital is managed by the Ministry of Health. As of March 2009 there were 100 doctors and 225 nurses on the hospital staff.
