Ravnsbjerg Church

Viby J (or just Viby) is a former town and now a district, in the southwestern part of Aarhus in Denmark. The district has almost 30,000 inhabitants. The "J" stands for Jutland, as there is another town called Viby on the island of Zealand, officially referred to as Viby Sj and also a village on Funen.

Rosenhøj (lit.: Rose-hill) is a public housing project in Viby J, a southern district of Aarhus, Denmark. Rosenhøj consists of concrete apartment blocks, with a total of 808 rentals, built in 1967-70. The area underwent a thorough renovation in the years 2014-17, updating the buildings to contemporary climate regulations, and also adding 22 new rowhouse rentals and outdoor sports facilities among other improvements.In the 2000's, Rosenhøj has been increasingly attractive to immigrants. In 2001, 22% of the inhabitants where immigrants; in 2008 more than 52% where immigrants. Nearly all of the inhabitants under the age of 18 has an immigrant background. The majority of immigrants in Rosenhøj comes from Afghanistan, Somalia and Turkey.

Business Academy Aarhus is a school of higher education in Aarhus, Denmark founded on 1 January 2009. The academy is an independent self-owning institution subordinated to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. Degree programmes offered are mainly applied degrees, especially in technology, IT and business. The academy grants undergraduate and academic degrees but not master's or doctoral degrees. In addition to full-time studies the academy offers supplemental education, part-time programmes at bachelor's level and short-term courses for people who need to strengthen their qualifications. The academy is one of the largest business academies in Denmark.The academy has 5,000 full-time students including 600 international students and 5,000 part-time students and about 400 employees.

Aarhus Business College is a business school of secondary education in Aarhus, Denmark. The school offers educational programmes in business and management on a secondary level to post-primary youth, Higher Commercial Examination Programme (HHX) and supplementary courses for adults seeking to maintain qualifications. Last but not least Aarhus Business College has two new types of educations called EUX Business and EUD Business. EUX is an education that combines a 2-year secondary education with a 2-year internship in a company, and EUD is 1 year in school and a 2-year internship in a company. It is an independent self-owned institution under the Danish government, managed by a board composed of members from the business community in conjunction with a rector that oversees day-to-day operations. The school is located on three addresses in Aarhus: Campus Sønderhøj in Viby J (EUX Business, EUD Business, EUD10 Business and supplementary courses) and the two campuses of HHX in Risskov and Viby J.

Viby Jylland railway station is a tram-train and railway station serving the district of Viby J in the city of Aarhus in East Jutland, Denmark.The station is located on the Fredericia-Aarhus Line from Fredericia to Aarhus. It offers regional train services to Aarhus, Esbjerg, Herning and Skjern. The train services are operated by DSB and Arriva. The station is also located on the Odder Line between Aarhus and Odder, part of the Aarhus light rail system. In 2016 to 2018, the Odder Line was temporarily closed along with the Grenaa Line while it was being reconstructed to form part of the Aarhus light rail system including electrification.

Arla Foods amba is a Danish-Swedish multinational cooperative based in Viby, Denmark, and the largest producer of dairy products in Scandinavia, and the largest dairy in the United Kingdom.Arla Foods was formed as the result of a merger between the Swedish dairy cooperative Arla and the Danish dairy company MD Foods on 17 April 2000. The name Arla derives from the same word as the English word 'early' and is an archaic Swedish term for 'early (in the morning)'.

Jarlsminde is a farm and a listed building in Aarhus, Denmark. The farm was built in 1798 and was listed in the Danish national registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 3 June 1997. The farm is situated in the suburb Stavtrup about 7-8 km. south-west of the city centre of Aarhus where it sits on a hill with a view of Brabrand Lake and the large urban areas on the other side of it.The farm was originally built for Countess Wedel-Jarlsberg. The farm consists of the main two-story building and an outbuilding. The main building was constructed in 1798 and lightly remodeled in 1820. The center of the building is split in a small living room with an adjacent garden room. The eastern section has one large room while the western part is divided in a kitchen and two smaller rooms. From the central living room stairs adorned with classical balusters lead to the upper floor which has a bathroom and a number of smaller rooms. The house contains an iron stove from Bærum Ironworks in Norway from 1820.The main building is painted white with red winged brick. Cornices of masonry drape around the building on all sides and the roof on the gables are half-hipped while the dormers are hipped. The outbuilding is constructed of boulders with gables of yellow brick and contains a preserved bakery with oven and a partially buried milking room.

Egaa Gymnasium is a school of secondary education and a Gymnasium in Aarhus, Denmark. The school offers the 3 year Matriculation examination (STX) programme divided in 4 main lines; language, arts, social sciences and natural sciences. The school was subordinated to the Aarhus County until 2007 when the county was abolished and since then the school has been an independent self-owning institution.

Viby Church (Danish: Viby Kirke) is a church located in Viby Parish in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the neighbourhood Viby, west of Marselisborg. It is a parish church which belongs to the Church of Denmark and there's population of 8.211 within the parish borders (2015).

Stavtrup is a western suburb of Aarhus in Denmark. It is located 7 km from the city centre and has a population of 3,729 (1 January 2010). Since 1 January 2011, Stavtrup is officially a part of Aarhus' urban area under the postal district of Viby J. Stavtrup is largely a residential area and there is easy access to the nature around Brabrand Lake.

Åby Church (Danish: Åby Kirke) is a church located in Åby Parish in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the neighbourhood Åbyhøj, west of Midtbyen. The church is today a parish church in the Church of Denmark, serving a parish population of 10.925 (2015). The Åby Church pastorate is shared with the Åbyhøj Church to the north.
