St. Lawrence's Church (Chinese: 聖老楞佐堂; Portuguese: Igreja de São Lourenço) is one of the oldest churches in Macau, China. It is located on Rua de São Lourenço, opposite Instituto Salesiano. The church was first built before 1560 by the Jesuits. It was later rebuilt in 1846. The present church is a neoclassical structure with a yellow exterior. The interior of the church is decorated with ornate pillars and chandeliers. Aside from it being a place of worship for Catholics in Macau, St. Lawrence's Church is also a popular tourist destination.

São Lourenço is a civil parish (Portuguese: freguesia) of Macau. It is located in the southwestern of Macau Peninsula and named after Lawrence of Rome. This parish was one of five in the former Municipality of Macau, one of Macau's two municipalities that were abolished on 31 December 2001 by Law No. 17/2001, following the 1999 transfer of sovereignty over Macau from Portugal to China. While their administrative functions have since been removed, these parishes are still retained nominally. It was surrounded by water on all sides except north and Southeast. It neighbours Freguesia da Sé. Penha Hill and Barra Hill (媽閣山) are to the south. The Portuguese governor building and current administrative buildings are located here. The Fort Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto (Forte da Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto in Portuguese) is a former fort of the Portuguese Empire located in Penha Hill in Macau, China. It was among the first forts built by the Portuguese in Macau, erected between 1608 and 1615. It participated in the defense of Macau when the Dutch East India Company attacked city during the Battle of Macau in 1622. It was erected on grounds owned by Augustinian friars. It defended thesouthern coast of Macau together with the Fort São Francisco and the Battery of São Pedro (demolished in the 1930s) and the Inner Harbour together with the Fort São Tiago da Barra. It was rebuilt in 1775 (during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty) and eight cannon were installed there.Abandoned in 1892, it was subsequently incorporated in the Hotel Bela Vista, and currently part of the official residence of the General Consul of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong.It is currently a classified monument by the government of Macau.

The Historic Centre of Macao (Portuguese: Centro Histórico de Macau, Chinese: 澳門歷史城區) is a collection of over twenty locations that witness the unique assimilation and co-existence of Chinese and Portuguese cultures in Macau, a former Portuguese colony. It represents the architectural legacies of the city's cultural heritage, including monuments such as urban squares, streetscapes, churches and temples. In 2005 the Historic Centre of Macau was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, making it the 31st designated World Heritage Site in China. It was described by UNESCO as: "with its historic street, residential, religious and public Portuguese and Chinese buildings, the historic centre of Macao provides a unique testimony to the meeting of aesthetic, cultural, architectural and technological influences from East and West," and "...it bears witness to one of the earliest and longest-lasting encounters between China and the West, based on the vibrancy of international trade."

It is one of a few historic properties preserving Portuguese influence in Macau. Like many historic buildings it is clad in a pink like colour.

The Macau Customs Service (also known as Customs of Macao Special Administrative Region) is the official customs agency of the Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China. It is responsible for enforcing customs law, preventing smuggling, supervising cross-border trade, and cooperating in regional and international customs matters. The agency operates under the jurisdiction of the Macau Secretariat for Security and is headed by the Director-General of Customs. It maintains checkpoints at Macau’s land borders, maritime ports, and airport, including the Border Gate, Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, Macau International Airport, and the Macau Port Area of Hengqin Port. The current structure of the Macau Customs Service was formally established on 20 December 2001, following the reorganization of border and customs services after the handover of Macau from Portugal to the People’s Republic of China in 1999.

The Dom Pedro V Theatre (Chinese: 伯多祿五世劇; Portuguese: Teatro Dom Pedro V) is a historical theatre situated at Largo de Santo Agostinho in São Lourenço, Macau, China. It is one of the first western-style theatres in East Asia. The theater is an important landmark in the region and remains a venue for important public events and celebrations today.
