State Street–Division Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana. The district encompasses 109 contributing buildings and two contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of Elkhart. It was developed between about 1868 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Italianate and Queen Anne-style architecture.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The National New York Central Railroad Museum (reporting mark NNYX) is a railroad museum located in Elkhart, Indiana dedicated to the preservation of the New York Central Railroad (NYC). The museum includes several outdoor equipment displays, indoor model railroads, artifacts from the NYC and other railroad related exhibits including educational displays pertaining to the history of railroading. The museum is currently expanding its dedication to the preservation of both local and national railroad heritage. The museum consists of a modified NYC 20th Century Limited train set and freight house built by the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway (LS&MS) in 1907.

Elkhart station is a train station in Elkhart, Indiana, served by Amtrak's Capitol Limited between Chicago and Washington D.C, and Lake Shore Limited between Chicago and New York City/Boston. While the station has a waiting room, it is only open in early mornings and late evenings, half an hour before the first westbound and eastbound train arrives. It does not have a ticket agent, but the station does have personnel that can assist riders upon departure and arrival. The station is directly across the tracks from the National New York Central Railroad Museum.

Elkhart ( EL-kart) is a city in Elkhart County, Indiana, United States. The city is located 15 miles (24 km) east of South Bend, Indiana, 110 miles (180 km) east of Chicago, Illinois, and 150 miles (240 km) north of Indianapolis, Indiana. Elkhart has the larger population of the two principal cities of the Elkhart-Goshen Metropolitan Statistical Area, which in turn is part of the South Bend-Elkhart-Mishawaka Combined Statistical Area, in a region commonly known as Michiana. The population was 53,923 at the 2020 census. Despite the shared name and being the most populous city in the county, it is not the county seat of Elkhart County; that position is held by the city of Goshen, located about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Elkhart.

WTRC (1340 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Elkhart, Indiana, and serving the South Bend metropolitan area. It is owned by Federated Media. The station airs a news/talk radio format and is a Fox News Radio affiliate. On the air since 1922, WTRC is one of Indiana's oldest radio stations. It has a power of 1,000 watts, and uses a non-directional antenna. The transmitter site is on Indiana Road near the Elkhart River in Elkhart. WTRC is also heard on a 250 watt FM translator, W270DK on 101.9 MHz.

The Lerner Theatre, previously known as the Elco Theatre, is a historic theatre located at Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana, United States. It was built in 1924, and is a two-story, reinforced concrete and steel, Beaux-Arts style building. The front facade features four Corinthian order columns, three freestanding urns, enriched cornice, parapet and frieze. The building is faced with terra cotta and has a lighted canopy projecting over the sidewalk. The auditorium features a large central dome measuring 30 to 40 feet in diameter. Built as a vaudeville theatre, by the late 1920s it had evolved into a motion picture palace.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in the Elkhart Downtown Commercial Historic District.

The district encompasses 59 contributing buildings in the central business district of Elkhart. It was developed between about 1868 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Queen Anne, and Classical Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Green Block, Lerner Theatre, and Young Women's Christian Association. Other notable buildings include the Cornish Block (c. 1875), Franklin Street Station (1895), Menges Building (1908), former Post Office (1905), Midwest Museum of Modern Art (1922), Elkhart Water Company, Masonic Temple, Rowe Block (1900), and Dreves Building (c. 1915).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) is an Anabaptist Christian seminary in Elkhart, Indiana, affiliated with Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada. It was formerly known as Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary until its name was changed in 2012.The seminary offers a three-year Master of Divinity degree and two-year Master of Arts degree. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.

Green Block, also known as the Smith Frye Building, is a historic commercial building located in Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana. It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, eclectic Italianate style brick commercial building. It features projecting pressed metal bays above each storefront and at the corners and arched second story openings with balconies.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in the Elkhart Downtown Commercial Historic District.
