St Peter and St Sigfrid's Church, often referred to locally as the English Church (Swedish: Engelska kyrkan), is an Anglican church in Stockholm, Sweden. It was built in the 1860s for the British congregation in the city and was originally located on Rörstrandsgatan (later renamed Wallingatan) in the Norrmalm district before being moved, stone by stone, to the Diplomatstaden area of Östermalm in 1913.The church is part of Church of England's Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe and is dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Sigfrid.

Diplomatstaden (Swedish for "Diplomat City") is a neighbourhood in the Östermalm district in central Stockholm, Sweden. As the name suggests, the neighbourhood is the home of many embassies and ambassadorial residencies. Diplomatstaden encompasses the area facing the Djurgårdsbrunnsviken bay which is located south of the easternmost part of Strandvägen. It is an exclusive residential area composed of a group of brick villas built mostly in the 1910s and 1920s.

The Berwald Hall (Swedish: Berwaldhallen) is a concert hall situated in a park landscape at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 3 in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. Construction on the building began in 1976 based on a design by architects Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström. The hall is shaped as a hexagon.The seating is 1,302 places, of which 482 are in the stalls. The hall won a Europa Nostra architecture award as an "admirably sensitive designed concert hall".

Radiohuset ("the radio house") in Östermalm, Stockholm, is the main headquarters building of Sveriges Radio (SR). Located on Oxstiernsgatan in the Förrådsbacken district, it stands next to Sveriges Television's TV-huset and close to Filmhuset, the headquarters of the Swedish Film Institute. Also nearby is the popular open-air recreational area known as Gärdet. Programmes produced at Radiohuset are broadcast throughout Sweden on SR's four national radio channels, P1, P2, P3, and P4, and also feature in the multi-lingual output of SR International – Radio Sweden (P6). In 2008, SR's local station in the capital, Radio Stockholm (today with two channels, known as P4 Radio Stockholm and P5 STHLM), moved to Radiohuset from its previously separate studios in Kungsholmen. The building was first planned in 1955, to designs prepared by the architects Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström. Construction work began in 1958 and the official opening took place on 22 September 1962.

Radio Sweden (Swedish: Sveriges Radio International) is Sweden's official international broadcasting station. It is a non-commercial and politically independent public service broadcasting company.

Sveriges Radio AB (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈsvæ̌rjɛs ˈrɑ̌ːdɪʊ], "Sweden's Radio") is Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcaster. Sveriges Radio is a public limited company, owned by an independent foundation, previously funded through a licensing fee, the level of which is decided by the Swedish Riksdag. As of 1 January 2019, the funds stem from standard taxation. No advertising is permitted. Its legal status could be described as that of a quasi-autonomous non-governmental organization.

The Embassy of the United States, Stockholm is the diplomatic mission of the United States in Diplomatstaden, Stockholm, Sweden. The diplomatic mission of the United States was established in April 1818 and elevated to an embassy in 1947.

Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company (Swedish: Sveriges Utbildningsradio or Utbildningsradion, UR) is a public-service corporation dedicated to serving the needs of the Swedish general public by providing educational programming on radio and television.The company is a member of the European Broadcasting Union and Nordvision.

Djurgårdsteatern (Swedish for "Djurgården Theatre"), was an historical Swedish theatre, active at Djurgården in Stockholm between 1801 and 1929 (from 1863 in a new building). It was the only theatre in Stockholm outside the royal theatres during the monopol of the royal theatres between 1799 and 1842, and it also played an important part in abolishing this royal monopol. Until 1842, it was a "summer theatre", but later, it became an all-year theatre and an important one, called the "theatre of the people". It was described as a wood building with the same exterior of a barn, and was painted yellow.

Villa Lusthusporten, also called villa Wicanderska, villa Brinckska, and villa Liljevalchska, is a 19th-century merchant's house on Djurgården road, north of Djurgården, in Stockholm.

The Norwegian Legation in Stockholm played a significant role during the Second World War. Until 9 April 1940 the legation consisted of four persons, and at the end of the war about 1,100 persons were connected to the legation. Refugee cases were among the legation's most central tasks. In 1941 a Military office was established, and this was later split into separate offices for intelligence (XU related cases), and for Milorg related cases.

The Embassy of Finland in Stockholm is Finland's diplomatic mission in Sweden. It is located at Gärdesgatan 11 in the district of Gärdet. The current ambassador of Finland to Sweden, since 2018, is Liisa Talonpoika who is also the first female ever to hold this position.
