Adana Airport or Adana Şakirpaşa Airport (Turkish: Adana Havalimanı) (IATA: ADA, ICAO: LTAF) is an international airport located in Adana, Turkey. The airport serves mainly to Cilicia region and in a lesser extent to the provinces surrounding Cilicia, due to its frequent domestic flight schedule and several flights to international destinations. With 5.1 million passengers in 2019, it is the sixth-busiest airport in Turkey. Opened in 1937, Şakirpaşa Airport is the oldest airport in Turkey that is still in public service.

Şakirpaşa railway station (Turkish: Şakirpaşa istasyonu) is a railway station in Seyhan, Adana, on the Adana-Mersin railway. The station consists of two side platforms serving two tracks. There is no station building, only a small shelter on each platform. TCDD Taşımacılık operates frequent regional rail service from Mersin to Adana, along with further service to İskenderun and İslahiye. Together with regional trains, two intercity trains stop at Şakirpaşa as well; the Erciyes Express to Kayseri and the Taurus Express to Konya.

On 21 January 1972, a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 registered as TC-JAC operated by Turkish Airlines crashed on approach while trying to make an emergency landing at Adana Airport. The aircraft was en-route from Kandara Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Ankara Esenboğa Airport with a stopover at Damascus Airport with only five crew members on board after carrying passengers to Hajj the day before. After taking off from Damascus for the second leg of the flight, the plane had a cabin pressurization problem and attempted to divert to Adana. The aircraft had a go-around in its first landing attempt due to poor visibility. During the second attempt, the plane flew too low and crashed in a field 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) away from the airport, and subsequently caught fire. One of the five crew members died in the flames, while three others were injured.

Adana Science and Technology University (Adana STU) or in Turkish: Adana Bilim ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi (Adana BTU), is a public university located in Adana, Turkey. The university is focused on both scientific research and education in engineering and natural sciences.

Kanuni University was a higher education institution in the city of Adana. The university was founded in 2013 by the Çukurova Education and Culture Foundation.

Şehitlik station is a railway station in Adana, located in the Yeşiloba mahalle of the Seyhan district. It is the closest railway station to the Central Coach Terminal at 1.5 km distance. Yeşiloba horse-racing venue is 1.6 km. west of the station.

Seyhan Cultural Center (Turkish: Seyhan Kültür Merkezi), is a complex in Adana that is composed of two theatre halls, a conference hall and three exhibition halls. The center is located next to the Seyhan Municipality Hall, on D400 State Road. On March 1, 2015, the cultural center is renamed 'Yaşar Kemal Kültür Merkezi' after the death of the legendary author Yaşar Kemal.

Yeşiloba is a neighbourhood (mahalle) in the municipality and district of Seyhan, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 15,242 (2022). The neighbourhood is situated on both sides of D400 state road, 8 km west of the historical downtown of Adana.

Adana station (Turkish: Adana garı) is a railway station in Adana and one of the major railway hubs in Turkey. The station is located at the İstasyon Square, in Kurtuluş, Seyhan. The Central Station is steps away from the Vilayet Metro station and the Adana Province Hall. It surrounds the İstasyon Square together with the Central Post Office, Türk Telekom and TCDD Regional Headquarters.

The Atatürk Swimming Complex is a swimming centre in Adana, featuring two outdoor Olympic-size swimming pools and an indoor semi-Olympic-size swimming pool. The building was opened in 1936, and re-constructed in 2009 at a cost of 6.5 million TL. The complex was the venue of the Adana Demirspor waterpolo team. Kurtuluş (Turkish pronunciation: [kuɾtulush]) is a neighbourhood (mahalle) in the municipality and district of Seyhan, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 11,444 (2022). The neighborhood is part of the downtown of Adana, situated south of the railway lines and east of the Adana Metro line.
