The City of Evans is a home rule municipality located in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 22,165 at the 2020 United States Census, a 19.57% increase since the 2010 United States Census. Evans is a part of the Greeley, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor.

KFKA ("NoCo's Home for News, Sports and Talk") on 1310 AM is a radio station licensed to Greeley, Colorado that serves the Fort Collins-Greeley area. It is the flagship station for the Northern Colorado Bears college football and basketball radio network. It also carries a full slate of high school football and basketball games.

KELS-LP (104.7 FM), also known as "The Pirate", is a low-power radio station licensed to Greeley, Colorado, United States. The station serves the Greeley - Ft. Collins area and is currently owned by Plymouth Gathering, Inc.In early 2011, the station aired a commentary regarding Martin Luther King Jr. that caused national controversy. The commentary was based on information provided by a listener regarding moral concerns with the civil rights leader. Though the commentary was reported to be generally factual and has been aired in previous years, the controversy developed because the station owner, Brett Reese was, at the time, a Greeley School Board member. In May 2011 Reese was publicly censured by the school board for being intoxicated at a board meeting and for allegedly inappropriately touching a teacher. (Www.denverpost.com) Reese resigned from the school board in February 2012.(Www.greeleytribune.com) Reese has repeatedly denied any racial intent and has voiced his support of the civil rights movement. Reese says that his intent is that the truth should be known regarding those that are held up as role models.

Crabtree Brewing Company is a regional brewery located in Greeley, Colorado. Jeff and Stephanie Crabtree, the founders, started brewing in 2006 after they decided to turn their homebrewing hobby into a commercial endeavor. In 2009, the brewery produced over 900 barrels of its various labels. As of 2011, it was still Greeley's only brewery.

Greeley West High School is a public high school located in Greeley, Colorado, at the intersection of 35th Avenue and West 24th Street. The school was established in 1966 and had an enrollment of 1,450 students in the 2003-04 school year. Its mascot is the Spartans.

Aims Community College is a public community college serving northern Colorado with locations in Greeley, Windsor, Fort Lupton, and Loveland. Aims has more than 200 degree and certificate programs and provides day and night classes. Aims was founded in Greeley in 1967 and graduated its first class in 1969. The school established a second campus in Fort Lupton in 1984, and a third in Loveland in 1987. The Aims Automotive and Technology Center, located in Windsor, opened in January 2010.

The Town of LaSalle (incorporated in 1910 as the Town of La Salle) is a Statutory Town in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 2,359 at the 2020 United States Census.A post office called La Salle has been in operation since 1886. The community was named by railroad officials after LaSalle Street in Chicago.

University Schools is the former lab school affiliated with the University of Northern Colorado. It is now a charter school located in Greeley, Colorado. This was a relatively small school, but due to recent additions, including a new middle school, the school size has grown significantly. University Schools is home of the Bulldogs and is a K-12 school. University School uses an online lottery method to choose new students for the upcoming year. University Schools operates off of a trimester system, but recently the middle school has switch to a combination of both trimesters and semesters. University Schools also does not provide transportation (i.e. School bus) to or from school.

The Weld County Veterans Memorial is located in Greeley, Colorado near Bittersweet Park at the corner of 16th St. and 35th Ave. It is "dedicated to the men and women of Weld County who have served our country in times of peace and war, and especially to those who gave their lives".Dedicated on Veterans Day in 1997, the memorial's 10th anniversary was celebrated on Veterans Day, 2007. Annual Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Armed Forces Day ceremonies are held at the memorial. The centerpiece of the memorial is a statue of Pvt. Joe P. Martinez of Ault, Colorado, the first Weld County resident to be awarded the Medal of Honor. The bronze plaque below the statue reads: The memorial includes granite slabs commemorating many of the theaters of war in US military history, along with brief narratives. Also displayed are the names of the men and women from Weld County who served in each of these conflicts.

The Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards, based in Greeley, Colorado, is a non-profit organization which facilitates the coordination and communication of the 50 individual United States' chiropractic licensing boards.

The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) is a non-profit national and international testing organization for the chiropractic profession that develops, administers, analyzes, scores, and reports results from various examinations. Examinations are offered to students at chiropractic colleges accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). The NBCE maintains its headquarters in Greeley, Colorado. The organization was established in 1963 to standardize chiropractic testing requirements as opposed to each state having its own board exam. Since 1963, all but one of states have adopted the passage of Parts I-IV; however, each state has its own licensing requirements in addition to the NBCE exams.

The Daniels School, in Milliken in Weld County, Colorado, was built in 1911. It is a two-room schoolhouse, with a partition that allowed separation of grades 1–4 vs. grades 5–8, which operated from 1911 to 1959. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It was built on a one-acre (0.40 ha) plot of land donated to the school district by James Daniels in 1879. A wood-frame schoolhouse was built first; it was sold and moved off the property to enable replacement by the present brick building in 1911. James Daniels served as director of the school for many years. The school was named, however, for his brother, Henry Daniels, who was a pioneer in the Big Thompson Valley area before Johnstown and Milliken existed. It is Classical Revival in style, built of brick, and has a pedimented porch spanning the front, with four Tuscan columns. It is about 30 by 57 feet (9.1 m × 17.4 m) in plan, including the porch. The school was built in 1911 by carpenters H.W. Richmond and C.J. Mathers, who weren't able to complete it until after the fall school term had started.During World War II, the school was used for ration book distribution, and students set a goal for selling stamps and bonds to raise $900 to fund a jeep, as part of the U.S. Treasury Schools at War program. During and after the years of its operation as a school, it was used for Boy Scout meetings and other community purposes.The school closed in 1959. Per terms that ownership would revert to the original owner or descendant, Harold Daniels, a grandson of Henry Daniels, became property owner. Harold had attended grades one through eight at the Daniels School, during 1933 to 1940. Until the mid-1970s it was still used for Boy Scouts, and has since been used for storage.The listing included two other contributing buildings: a wood-frame teacherage and a privy, and it included a metal swingset frame built at time of the school's construction, in 1911. The privy is a wood-frame two-seat structure which was built by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s, and replaced two original brick privies.The school is located on Colorado State Highway 60 near its intersection with Weld County Road 25.
