Chase Financial Plaza

Tower City station, known alternatively as Tower City–Public Square and Tower City Center is a rapid transit station in Cleveland, Ohio, part of Tower City Center. It is the central station on the RTA Red Line and a major station on the RTA Green and Blue lines. The station is located directly beneath Prospect Avenue in the middle of the Avenue shopping mall. The station is only accessible through the Tower City Center shopping complex, and, for this reason, the public concourse of the shopping mall is open at all times that the RTA Rapid Transit is in operation. Located in downtown Cleveland, the station is the busiest RTA Rapid Transit station. It is also the only station to serve all of downtown Cleveland, in spite of the fact the Tower City complex is located on the south end of this district near the east shore of the Cuyahoga River; the rest of downtown is serviced by frequent bus service. It offers connections to all RTA buses serving Public Square. The station also includes a "Walkway to Gateway", a completely enclosed and air-conditioned skyway from Tower City Center to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse and Progressive Field of the Gateway Sports and Entertainment Complex that allows RTA passengers, as well as patrons of the Tower City parking facilities, to walk to the arena or Progressive Field without the need to go outside.

Tower City Center is a large mixed-use facility in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio, on its Public Square. The facility is composed of a number of interconnected office buildings, including Terminal Tower, the Avenue shopping mall, Jack Cleveland Casino, Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, Chase Financial Plaza, and Tower City station, the main hub of Cleveland's four RTA Rapid Transit lines. The structure was built in 1929 as Cleveland Union Terminal. On March 17, 1976, the complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Skylight Office Tower is a 1991-built 12 story 165 foot high-rise office building on the property of Tower City Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Like its closely resembled (though not perfect matching) sister building (Chase Financial Plaza) across the under street level concourse in Tower City's The Avenue, Skylight is postmodern in design and rests on a concrete slab that was left over from an unbuilt office tower in the 1930s that extends underneath the foundations of both the towers. The Skylight contains 321, 0000 square feet of office space and is known for its ornate grand lobby that features imported Italian granite, black marble, and mahogany detailing. The Skylight was constructed by RTKL, just like its sister building and was built at a time when Forest City Enterprises of Cleveland sought to increase the floor space and leasing opportunities for their considerable holdings in downtown.

Terminal Tower is a 52-story, 235 m (771 ft), landmark skyscraper located on Public Square in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Built during the skyscraper boom of the 1920s and 1930s, it was the second-tallest building in the world when it was completed. Terminal Tower stood as the tallest building in North America outside of New York City from its completion in 1927 until 1964. It was the tallest building in the state of Ohio until the completion of Key Tower in 1991, and remains the second-tallest building in the state. The building is part of the Tower City Center mixed-use development, and its major tenants include Forest City Enterprises, which maintained its corporate headquarters there until 2018, and Riverside Company.

The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is a historic hotel on Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio, opened in 1918 as the Hotel Cleveland. It is today part of the Tower City Center mixed-use complex.

Jack Cleveland Casino (formerly Horseshoe Cleveland) is a casino in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, owned by Vici Properties and operated by Jack Entertainment.

The Landmark Office Towers is a complex of three historically renovated 1930-completed 259 foot 22 story high-rises that are located on the property of Tower City Center in Downtown Cleveland's Public Square district. The building features very deep recesses on its south side. Actually, the building is three towers in one. These are the Midland Bank Building, the Medical Arts Building, and the Builders Exchange Building. The complex was to include a fourth tower that was never completed and so there is still an empty space where that tower was to go to the present day.

The Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is a major Civil War monument in Cleveland, Ohio, honoring the more than 9,000 individuals from Cuyahoga County who served the Union throughout the war. It was dedicated on July 4, 1894, and is located on the southeast quadrant of Public Square in Downtown Cleveland. It was designed by architect and Civil War veteran Levi Scofield, who also created the monument's sculptures. The monument is regularly open to the public, free of charge.

Balloonfest '86 was a 1986 event in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, in which the local chapter of United Way set a world record by releasing almost one-and-a-half million balloons. The event was intended to be a harmless fundraising publicity stunt, but the balloons drifted back over the city, Lake Erie, and landed in the surrounding area, causing problems for traffic and a nearby airport. The event also interfered with a United States Coast Guard search for two boaters who were later found drowned. In consequence, the organizers and the city faced lawsuits seeking millions of dollars in damages, and cost overruns put the event at a net loss.

Public Square is the central plaza of downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Based on an 18th-century New England model, it was part of the original 1796 town plat overseen by Moses Cleaveland, and remains an integral part of the city's center. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The 10-acre (4.0 ha) square is centered on the former intersection of Superior Avenue and Ontario Street. Cleveland's three tallest buildings, Key Tower, 200 Public Square and the Terminal Tower, face the square. Other landmarks adjacent to Public Square include the 1855 Old Stone Church and the former Higbee's department store made famous in the 1983 film A Christmas Story, which has been occupied by the Jack Cleveland Casino since 2012. Originally designed as four separate squares bisected by Superior Avenue and Ontario Street, the square was redeveloped in 2016 by the city into a more pedestrian-friendly environment by routing most traffic around the square. The section of Ontario Street through the square was removed, while the section of Superior Avenue was rebuilt to only allow buses with stops for multiple bus lines of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. The northern half of the square is mostly green space and includes a statue to reformist mayor Tom L. Johnson. The southern half is mostly a paved plaza area with a cafe and water feature adjacent to the 125-foot-tall (38 m) Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument and a statue of city founder Moses Cleaveland.

The Sherwin-Williams Headquarters is a 36-story office tower under construction in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. At 616 ft (188 m), it is the 4th tallest building in Cleveland, and the 6th tallest building in Ohio. When completed, it will be the global headquarters of Sherwin-Williams, the largest paint and coating company in the world. The headquarters complex faces Public Square and covers portions of three city blocks. The complex includes the primary tower, a parking garage, and a pavilion, with hints of possible future expansion within the remainder of the lots.

The Frank J. Lausche State Office Building is a 1979-erected 204 foot 15 story high-rise in downtown Cleveland on the corner of West Superior and Prospect Avenue on the city's Tower City Center complex. It sits in front of the 2002-built Carl B. Stokes United States Courthouse. The buildings majority of tenants (over 1300) work for the State of Ohio. The structure cost the state $26 million to build in 1977-1979. That would be about $83.5 million in today's inflation rate. In front of the building sits sculptor Tony Smith's Last.The uniquely shaped structure is actually seven-sided, which closely resembles the dimensions of the land it is built on as no more land was allotted to the project due to the fact that the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority owned the air rights. The building was designed architect Robert P. Madison.
