Peasley Cross railway station

St Helens Hospital is a health facility at St Helens, Merseyside. It is managed by Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Hays Chemicals had a factory in the Sutton area of St Helens, England. The factory was controversial, locally, for actual and feared escapes of toxic chemicals.The factory was the last customer to use the remains of the St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway's original main line. Trains accessed the factory from the north, leaving the Liverpool to Wigan Line at St Helens Central Station Junction and travelling through Peasley Cross. In its final years the tracks south of the factory had been lifted. Hays closed in April 2002. Trains continued until 27 September of that year. The factory has since been levelled.The track was left in place after closure. At August 2015 it was plainly visible heading away southeast from the south end of St Helens Central, though pallisade fencing crosses the line.

Parr is a ward and historic township, located towards the eastern side of the town of St. Helens, England. The population of the ward at the 2011 census was 12,199. The township dates back to the West Derby hundred district from the 12th century.

Totally Wicked Stadium is a rugby league stadium in the Peasley Cross area of St. Helens. Known as Langtree Park until 2017, it has a capacity of over 18,000 and is the home ground of St Helens R.F.C. The stadium was granted full planning permission on 20 May 2008. On 11 July 2008 the go-ahead was given without the need for a public enquiry and construction started in 2010.The first rugby league match to be played at the stadium was between St. Helens and Widnes on Friday 20 January 2012. St. Helens won the opening game by 42–24 and they moved in ready for the 2012 Super League season. Liverpool F.C. U18s also play their home games at the stadium.

Sutton Oak railway station served the southern area of St Helens, England. The station was on the central section of the St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway which was later absorbed by the London and North Western Railway.

St. Helens South and Whiston is a constituency created in 2010 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Marie Rimmer of the Labour Party.Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat will subject to minor boundary changes, with parts of Whiston and Cronton, being included in the new constituency of Widnes and Halewood, to be first contested at the next general election.

St Helens South was a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

St Helens Central railway station (previously known as St. Helens Shaw Street) is a railway station serving the town of St Helens, Merseyside, England. It is on the Liverpool to Wigan Line from Liverpool Lime Street to Wigan North Western. The station and all trains calling at it are operated by TransPennine Express or Northern Trains. The station is on the Merseytravel City Line. The City Line is the name given to local rail routes out of Liverpool Lime Street operated by companies other than Merseyrail. The City Line appears on Merseytravel network maps as red, and covers the Liverpool-Wigan Line.

Robins Lane Halt was a short-lived railway station which served the south of St Helens, England. The unstaffed Halt was on the short "Fast Lines" otherwise known as "The Passenger Lines" which ran from the St Helens to Widnes line at Sutton Oak Junction to the Manchester to Liverpool line next to St Helens Junction station.

The North West Museum of Road Transport (formerly St. Helens Transport Museum or St. Helens Bus Museum) is located at the old St. Helens Corporation Transport bus depot in Hall Street, St Helens, Merseyside, England. The collection of vehicles at the museum includes many examples of buses from local municipal bus companies, including St Helens, Liverpool, Southport, Widnes, Warrington and Chester, as well as vehicles from the former Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive. Whilst the majority of vehicles on display are buses, there are also classic cars, trucks and fire engines. A substantial new attraction, The Museum of Fare Collection (the only specialist ticketing museum, archive and workshop in the country) commenced during 2009 and shows a worldwide collection of over 1050 ticket machines dating from as early as 1886. Visitors are invited to try these out under supervision. A new Lecture Theatre and Events Venue opened in 2010 with specialist subject lecturers. A Visiting Speaker service is available. Free rides on vintage buses usually operate on 1st Sunday in month. Reopened in September 2006 after a £1 million restoration of the old tram, trolleybus, and bus depot, which dates back to 1881, at which time it included stables for horse-drawn trams.The museum is open every weekend, and has attracted over 30,000 visitors since its reopening.

Holy Cross and St Helen Church is a Roman Catholic church in St Helens, Merseyside. The church was built in 1860 by the Society of Jesus. It was designed by Joseph John Scoles and is a Grade II listed building.

St Nicholas Church is in New Street, Sutton, Merseyside, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Saint Helens, the Archdeaconry of Warrington and the diocese of Liverpool. Its benefice is combined with those of All Saints, Sutton, and St Michael and All Angels, Sutton. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
