Parkview Apartments (Cleveland)

The Chesterfield Building is a 1965-erected high-rise 200 foot tall, 20-story apartment building complex located in the Reserve Square area of downtown Cleveland. The building was designed by Charles Luckman who is responsible for the Aon Center (Los Angeles), the Los Angeles Convention Center, the Madison Square Garden in New York and the AmTrust Financial Center in Cleveland among many others. The complex contains 407 living units and features distinctive windows that open out giving the impression that the building is an old factory, but the building has always been apartments. The Chesterfield features a roof-top swimming pool and underwent major cosmetic (exterior) renovation in 2001.In 2011, building management were alerted of their having 78 code violations, including structural issues, plumbing problems, foundation fissures, and lack of pest control. The building was later rebranded "The Sphere" and renovated.

Sterling Lindner Davis (SLD) was a major department store in downtown Cleveland's Theater District which operated from 1845 (with the founding of Sterling & Welch) to 1968. The retailer was primarily known for displaying the largest decorated Christmas tree in the state of Ohio, this tradition started in 1927. At their peak, Cleveland's department stores (May, Higbee's, Bailey's, Taylor's, Halle, and SLD or the big six) were one of the largest shopping districts in the United States. Before the explosive growth of Cleveland's suburban post World War II housing boom, people would flock to downtown's Euclid Avenue dressed in the finery of their Sunday best to shop in these huge stores that carried everything from clothing and jewelry to furniture and housewares. Though the idea of the largest tree in Cleveland is an attributed to Higbee's in A Christmas Story in 1983, the tradition was actually that of SLD, not Higbee's, which were in fact (along with May and Halle) huge rivals and constantly attempting to outdo each other in ever growing extravagance of merchandise and audacity of style. Sterling Lindner Davis was a conglomeration of three previously separate companies: Sterling & Welch, Lindner Co., and W. B. DavisCo. Lindner & Davis was bought by Allied Stores in 1947, which then bought out Sterling & Welch, and the store became known as Sterling Lindner Davis in 1951. The store closed to little notice (due to the birth of malls and outlets) in 1968. By the end of the 1990s, none of the "big six" Cleveland department stores was still in operation.

The Greyhound Bus Station at 1465 Chester Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, is a bus station designed by William Strudwick Arrasmith in the Streamline Moderne style. Built by Greyhound Lines, it opened in 1948. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Reserve Square is a two-building skyscraper mixed use apartment complex in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Both buildings have 23 floors and are 266 feet (81 m) high. The Square is directly west of the senior residential Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority's Bohn Towers. The complex was originally called Park Centre and was an extension of the Erieview Plan. One of the goals of this plan was to create residential zones in downtown Cleveland, however, by the 1970s with completion of the Tower at Erieview, One Erieview Plaza and Reserve Square this was only partially achieved.

For the theater that was once in New York City see Fourteenth Street Theatre The 14th Street Theatre, located at 2037 E. 14th Street in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States, was a 288-seat theater built in 2002 as part of Playhouse Square. Originally built for Second City Cleveland, the theater closed in 2013 and is now Cibreo Privato, the private dining space for the Italian restaurant Cibreo, owned and operated by Driftwood Restaurant Group.

The Bohn Towers is a 1972-erected 204-foot 22-story high-rise apartment building complex in the Reserve Square area of downtown Cleveland. It is named after one of the former directors of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, Ernest J. Bohn, who directed the agency responsible for public housing in the urban area of Cleveland from 1933 until 1968. The Bohn is known for its modern style apartment dwelling design, which almost approaches the brutalist style. The Bohn sits directly east of the Reserve Square East and West Towers. The property is listed in the CMHA registry as a senior living high rise in the downtown neighborhood of Cleveland and is one of only a handful of such properties in the central business district. In recent years the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County have experienced a great demand and need for such housing as older couples shed the demands of maintaining suburban housing and seek to live in the urban centers of Cleveland, Akron, Lakewood and Parma.

The Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square is a mid-sized, 14-story Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Cleveland's Playhouse Square district, located at the intersection of Huron Road and Euclid Avenue. Originally known as the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square, the structure helped to complete the revitalization of Playhouse Square. It changed brand names in August 2017.

The Statler is a historically renovated former Statler Hotel high-rise in the Theater District on East 12th Street and Euclid in downtown Cleveland that was converted into 295 apartments in 2001. It is 192 feet (59 m) high and rises to 14 floors above the street.

The Halle Building, formerly known as the Pope Building and after 2014 as The Residences at Halle, is an 11-story Chicago School mixed-use structure located in the Downtown Cleveland central business district in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. Designed by architect Henry Bacon, the building was the flagship department store of the Halle Brothers Co. from 1910 to 1982. The Halle Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 8, 1983, and converted to office space in 1986. On November 19, 1995, the Halle Building was listed as a contributing property to the Lower Prospect—Huron Historic District. The Halle Building was purchased by K & D Group in 2014. The ground floor was converted back to retail, and the sixth through tenth floors turned into apartments.

Cleveland Recording Company was a historic recording studio in Cleveland, Ohio, which produced many hit records in the 1960s and 1970s by artists such as James Gang and Grand Funk Railroad.

The Cleveland US Bank Centre building is a high-rise located at 1350 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Located in the heart of Cleveland's Theater District, the building was formerly known as Renaissance Center. It is the second tallest building in the district after the 1922-built 272 foot Keith Building. The building has total available space of 80,578 square feet (7,485.9 m2), with total space of 262,352 square feet. It was built in 1990 by Architect Richard L Bowen Associates. Other companies that played a part in the building are: Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Inc. - Cleveland Branch, Granicor Inc., Forest City Erectors, Inc., Heritage Development Company, Turner Construction Company, and Duke Construction. The building has an attached parking garage with 444 spaces, Conference Facilities, a Restaurant, and Class A amenities. The building has 15 Floors and totals 210 feet. The tower maintains a popular legend that those on floors 12-15 after midnight see odd figures that resemble Cleveland pioneers from the nearby municipal graveyard. These floors have become popular on local ghost hunts and area legends.

The Bryant Building is a historic retail building located in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. The building, designed by the prominent local architectural firm of Christian, Schwarzenburg and Gaede, was constructed by Mall Motor Co. as their new salesroom and service center, and was completed in 1921. The structure was purchased by Bryant Motor Co. in 1922. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on December 11, 2014.
