Westcott Reservoir

The James Pass Arboretum was established by the City of Syracuse, New York through the philanthropy of Adelaide Salisbury Pass and family with the guidance and cooperation of the State College of Forestry (now SUNY-ESF) to be a classic arboretum in the tradition of the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts, that is, a museum of woody plants designed for education and horticultural display.

Westhill Senior High School is a public high school located in the western suburbs of, and immediately adjacent to, the City of Syracuse, New York. It serves grades 9 through 12, primarily from the neighborhood of Westvale (located in the Town of Geddes), as well as portions of the Onondaga Hill area (located in the Town of Onondaga). Taunton is a hamlet in the Town of Onondaga in Onondaga County, New York, United States, southwest of the city of Syracuse. Landmarks of Taunton are the former Morey's Mill, once a popular source of apple cider, and Wolf Hollow, an estate created by William S. Andrews, Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, and his wife, noted author Mary Raymond Shipman Andrews. Taunton has a scenic situation amid drumlins at the foot of the Appalachian Plateau escarpment. Taunton was served by an interurban trolley line that connected the cities of Syracuse and Auburn, passing through nearby Split Rock. The trolley right-of-way has become Onondaga Boulevard.

The Solvay Public Library is a historic Carnegie library building located at Solvay at Onondaga County, New York. It was built between 1903 and 1905, and is a one-story, buff-colored brick building on a high basement. It has a hipped roof and Classical Revival style design elements including a distyle-in-antis portico in the Ionic order. It was built in part with a $10,000 donation from Andrew Carnegie.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.It was renovated in recent years with focus on preserving and restoring historically accurate details.

Westvale is a suburban community (and census-designated place) in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 4,963 at the 2010 census. Westvale is in the town of Geddes, lying east of Fairmount and southwest of Solvay. Westvale is a suburb of Syracuse, which is to the east.

West Brothers Knitting Company is a historic knitting mill located in the Westside neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. West Brothers was built in 1906–1907, and is a three-story, 20 bay by 6 bay, red brick mill building with a raised basement. It is of standard mill construction. The front facade features a three-bay, four-story elevator tower. The West Knitting Corporation moved to Wadesboro, North Carolina in 1928. The mill later housed a corrugated paper container manufacturer, the Gray Brothers Boot & Shoe Manufacturing Company, and most recently a manufacturer of a wide variety of air filters.: 5, 7–9  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Tipperary Hill, sometimes known as Tipp Hill, is a district in the city of Syracuse, New York. It is largely settled by immigrants from Ireland, especially from County Tipperary. It makes up half of Syracuse's Far Westside neighborhood.

Burnet Park is the largest park in Syracuse, New York, USA, covering an area of 88 acres (36 ha). It is located on the west end of the city, in the Far Westside in a neighborhood called Tipperary Hill.

Solvay is a village located in the town of Geddes, Onondaga County, New York, United States, and a suburb of the city of Syracuse. As of the 2020 census, the population was 6,645. The village is named after the Solvay brothers, Belgian inventors of the chemical process employed by the Solvay Process Company, formerly the major industry of the village.

St. Patrick's Church Complex is a historic Roman Catholic church complex located in the Far Westside neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. The complex consists of the church (1871-1872), rectory (1890), school and convent (1909), additions (1930), and shrine in the meditation garden (1959). The church is a one-story, Gothic Revival style brick building measuring 60 feet wide and 128 feet long. It has a basilica plan and features towers of uneven height and weight flanking a central front gable.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
