Lake Louise (Pennsylvania)

Lake Manjo (also known as Manjo Lake) is a manmade lake in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It has a surface area of approximately 9 acres (3.6 ha) and is situated in Franklin Township. The surficial geology near the lake consists of bedrock and Wisconsinan Till. The lake is not accessible to the public. However, a camp known as Camp Orchard Hill is located near the lake.

Cummings Pond is a lake in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It has a surface area of more than 40 acres (16 ha) and is located in Franklin Township. The lake is fed by springs and an unnamed tributary of Sutton Creek flow from it. It is up to 10 feet (3.0 m) deep, though it was deeper in the past. The lake was formed approximately 27,000 years ago by glacial action. It was historically stocked with fish and cattails and alders occur in its vicinity. In the early 1900s, the lake was used for boating, fishing, and ice harvesting.

The watershed of the stream has an area of 2.19 square miles (5.7 km2). The stream sometimes experiences flooding, but this rarely causes significant damage. Numerous macroinvertebrate species have been observed in the creek.

Frances Slocum State Park is a 1,035-acre (419 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Frances Slocum Lake is a 165-acre (67 ha) man-made, horseshoe-shaped lake that is a popular fishing and boating destination. The park is 5 miles (8.0 km) from Dallas and 10 miles (16 km) from Wilkes-Barre.

The stream is affected by sediment deposits and debris such as fallen trees. Wisconsinan Till, alluvium, wetlands, and bedrock consisting of shale and sandstone occur in the stream's vicinity.

Shavertown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kingston Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. It lies approximately 7 miles (11 km) northwest of the city of Wilkes-Barre and 24 miles (39 km) southwest of Scranton. The population of the CDP was 2,019 at the 2010 census.
