The WPA Field House and Pump Station is a historic water works facility on Henry Bailey Turner Road in Scituate, Massachusetts. The field house at Bound Brook Park was built in 1938–9 with funding from the Works Progress Administration, and is a rare historical recreational building in the town. The building is 1.5 stories, 38 feet (12 m) deep and 41 feet (12 m) wide, and built of stone with a slate side-gable roof. Its front facade is sheltered by a porch that lies under the roof and is supported by stone piers; there is a center entry that is flanked on each side by a window. The building was used for storage (in the basement) and for community group meetings, and was shuttered in 1981. In 2009 it was undergoing restoration.The building and its grounds were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Classical Revival church building was constructed in 1826 after its congregation had left the First Parish Church of Scituate when it became Unitarian in theology. St. Frances X. Cabrini Church was a church located in Scituate, Massachusetts. It was part of the Archdiocese of Boston until 2004, when it was officially closed, along with several other Boston-area parishes. Its former parishioners began a new congregation within the building, holding a round-the-clock vigil while they appealed the closure to various authorities. The vigil ended on May 30, 2016.

The Government Island Historic District is a historic district on Border Street in Cohasset, Massachusetts. It was for many years the land station associated with the Minot's Ledge Light. Due to the difficulties associated with the construction of the light, its tower was actually assembled first on this site; the foundation area used for this purpose is marked in the small park. Built in 1902 to enclose a steel water tank, it is a major local landmark. The Scituate Water Company stopped using the tank in 1988. The tower is listed as both an American Water Landmark and in the National Register of Historic Places. It has become a popular tourist site, featuring sweeping views of the South Shore, Old Scituate Light, Minot's Ledge Light and the nearby First Trinitarian Congregational Church.

North Scituate beach, the southernmost beach, is bordered to the south by Egypt Beach (part of the Egypt section of Scituate) and to the North by the second beach, Minot. Minot has its own post office with limited hours. A former Scituate fire station on Mitchell Avenue was sold by the town at auction for $585,000 in 2021.Public school children in Minot attend Wampatuck Elementary School, Lester J. Gates Intermediate School, and Scituate High School.Minot has no businesses. Hatherly Country Club, a private club and golf course for members only, is located on Hatherly Road, spread across Minot and North Scituate. On the evening of March 24, 2023, a fire broke out on Glades Road which quickly spread to engulf 8 beachfront homes. Five of the homes suffered extensive damage, with one needing to be demolished the next day. Eight fire departments responded to fight the blaze, which took until the next day to fully extinguish. Early theories stated that the fire may have started in a dumpster near a condo building.

The Caleb Lothrop House is a historic house in Cohasset, Massachusetts. The two-story hip-roof wood-frame house was built in 1821, and is the only brick-ended houses in the town. The house is a well-preserved example of Federal styling, featuring a center entry that is flanked by sidelight windows and pilasters. The house served for a time as the headquarters of the Cohasset Historical Society. Calep Lothrop, its builder, was the grandson of a Revolutionary War militia leader, and was descended from one of the area's first settlers.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Pratt Historic Building is a historic building at 106 South Main Street in Cohasset, Massachusetts, United States. It was built in 1903 with private donations as the Paul Pratt Memorial Library, to house the town's 7,500-volume collection. The building was expanded in the 1960s and '70s. In 2003, the library moved to a new site on Ripley Road, in the former Joseph Osgood Elementary School.The building now serves as the headquarters and main museum of the Cohasset Historical Society. The Society also operates the Capt. John Wilson House and Bates Ship Chandlery museums in the summer. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
