The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame (LSHOF) (Spanish: El Pabellón de la Fama de los Compositores Latinos) also known as La Musa Awards, was established on October 18, 2012, by Desmond Child and Rudy Pérez and is located in Miami, Florida, United States. The hall of fame is dedicated to "educating, honoring and celebrating the lives and music of the world’s greatest Latin songwriters and composers". The hall of fame was conceived by Child after he realized that he was only the third Latino to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Pérez came up with the same idea after having discussions with Latin composers Manuel Alejandro and Armando Manzanero 16 years prior to its conception. Initially, the organization had only 119 participants which grew to over 15,000 members in two years from 21 Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. Nominations for the inductions are selected by its committee of music professionals, which consists of producers, composers, musicians and performers, with the winners being voted by the general public. The only exception was for the 2022 inductees. To be eligible for a nomination, the songwriter, composer, or lyricist is required to have their first published work released at least 20 years prior to the year of induction.The accolades are divided into three groups: inductees, posthumous inductees, and additional honorees. While inductees are selected by an online survey, the posthumous inductees and special honors are presented by the organization's committee. For the inaugural La Musa Awards, five inductees were selected from 24 nominees of performing and non-performing songwriter categories. The gala took place on April 23, 2013, at the New World Center in Miami Beach. The awards were not held in 2020 and 2021. After a two-year absence, the organization celebrated its tenth anniversary and inducted both of its founders into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.Since its inception, songwriters originating from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United States, and Venezuela have been inducted.

Penthouse Court Apartments, today called Les Jardins of South Beach Condominium, is an historic property with Mediterranean Revival architecture and Art Deco features, located at 1620-22 Pennsylvania Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, USA and is in the Miami Beach Architectural District, Florida, USA. It was Designed by Martin L. Hampton who was a renowned architect in the 20's and 30's. He is best known his work in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Hollywood. Among his most notable projects are the Great Southern Hotel of Hollywood (1924), The Bathing Casino of Hollywood (1925), the Country Club of Coral Gables (1923) and the Miami Beach City Hall (1927). In the late 1930s, investment in the real estate in the Miami Beach area became popular, so the Architect started to design Mediterranean Revival houses and apartments in the South Beach area, especially around Flamingo Park. Penthouse Courts was built during this period and is an evident expression of this style. The apartments are distributed in two symmetrical buildings of three floors. For each building, the first and second floors have three apartments as well as one penthouse on the third floor. Each building has two balconies on the second floor and one on the third floor, all of them in typical Mediterranean Style. The roof is of Spanish tile. The entrance is an iron "flamingo" gate that opens up on to a beautiful tropical garden. Inside the building the original iron staircase railings hand forged in the 30s are still strongly in place together with an iron gate leading to the Penthouse on the 3rd floor. Building permit 6240 was released by the City of Miami Beach in 1934 and the building was completed in 1935 in the Art Deco Area of South Beach. It is listed in the City of Miami Beach Historic Property Viewer A list of Martin L. Hampton's work can be found on the National Register of Historic Places on page 17 of the Nomination Form of the Congress Building. Penthouse Court is listed as designed by the architect in 1934. Located one block from Lincoln Road the apartments are famous for their beautiful mosaics both in the common areas and garden and also throughout the stairwells and some interiors of both buildings. The Lincoln Theatre on Lincoln Road in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida was a movie theater and later a concert hall. It was designed in art deco style by noted cinema and theater designer Thomas W. Lamb and opened in 1936. It functioned as a cinema until the 1980s, then sat vacant for several years, then was used for performances of the New World Symphony, which bought it in 1990. The symphony carried out a multimillion-dollar renovation.The symphony moved to the new and much larger Frank Gehry-designed New World Center in 2011, and already before that in February 2010, Clifford Stein purchased the building to turn into retail shops. In January 2012, H&M was signed as the first tenant. As of February 2012 the property was in the process of being converted to retail, with much of the interior gutted. On April 18, 2012, the American Institute of Architects's Florida Chapter placed the building on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as Lincoln Theater.

The Colony Theatre is a performing arts venue located on Lincoln Road in Miami, Florida. The theatre first opened as a Paramount Pictures movie house in 1935 with a capacity to sit 1,200 people. From the 1950s - 1990s, it functioned back and forth as a movie house and a live performance space. As of 2020, the Colony Theatre is a 417-seat performance venue managed by South Florida theater company, Miami New Drama. It hosts music, dance, and theater performances as well as Miami New Drama's theatrical season.

The New World Symphony is an American orchestral academy based in Miami Beach, Florida. Established in 1987, the organization is a training ensemble for young musicians in preparation for professional careers in classical music. Since 2011, the New World Symphony has its headquarters in the New World Center.

The Cuban Hebrew Congregation, or Temple Beth Shmuel, is a Conservative synagogue used by Ashkenazi Jewish Cuban expatriates, located at 1700 North Michigan Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, in the United States.

Pride Park is a 5.8 acre park in Miami Beach, across from the Miami Beach Convention Center. The park was named to show community support for the LGBTQ community as well as civic pride for the Miami Beach community.Pride Park is part of the Miami Beach City Center Campus in the Miami Beach Convention Center district.The park is host to a number of events including the Miami Boat Show, Art Basel events and an outdoor film series.

Minna, 2022. is a public art sculpture by artist Jaume Plensa, located at Pride Park in the city of Miami Beach, Florida. The sculpture is made of stainless steel, stands over 16' tall, and was donated to the City of Miami Beach Art in Public Places Collection by Irma and Norman Braman in 2022. Minna is a contemporary sculpture of a woman in deep thought, with a transparent visuals that are highlighted by illuminated lights on the sculpture at night.

Mermaid (sometimes The Mermaid) is a 1979 outdoor sculpture by Roy Lichtenstein, composed of concrete, steel, polyurethane, enamel, palm tree, and water. It is located in Miami Beach at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater. Measuring 640 cm × 730 cm × 330 cm (252 in × 288 in × 132 in), it is his first public art commission according to some sources, although others point to a temporary pavilion that predates this work. It is also the second piece of public art in the city of Miami Beach. Since the sculpture was installed, it has been restored several times, and the theater that it accompanies has been restored and renamed twice.

1111 Lincoln Road is a parking garage in the South Beach section of Miami Beach, Florida, designed by the internationally known Swiss architectural firm of Herzog & de Meuron. It is located at the western end of the Lincoln Road Mall at the intersection with Alton Road, and can house some 300 cars. Since its opening in 2010, it has attracted considerable interest because its unique appearance is different from more traditional parking garage designs.

The Temple House is a private event space in the South Beach area of Miami, Florida, United States. Designed by L. Murray Dixon, it was once the largest single family residence in the city. The Temple House is frequently used as a location for music videos, including One Direction's "Best Song Ever" and Lumideea and Pitbull's "Crazy".

Flamingo Field is a ballpark at the corner of 15th Street and Michigan Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, home to Miami Beach minor-league clubs and the spring training home of the New York Giants in 1934 and 1935, the Philadelphia Phillies from 1940 to 1942, and again in 1946, and the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1947. Capacity was approximately 3,000 for baseball. The center field fence was 386 feet from homeplate. The park was also referred to as "Flamingo Park", which is also the name of the area in which it was located. Flamingo Field was home to the Class D Florida East Coast League Miami Tigers in 1940, who changed their nickname to the Miami Beach Flamingos in 1941 and won the League championship that year. The FECL folded in May 1942 due to World War II. After the War, the Flamingos joined the new Class C Florida International League in 1946. The Flamingos played the 1952 season, sat-out 1953, and rejoined in 1954 only to move across Biscayne Bay to Miami during the 1954 season. In addition to baseball, the field was used for multiple purposes. Duquesne practiced at Flamingo Field in December 1936 prior to the 1937 Orange Bowl. The Georgia Bulldogs football team practiced at Flamingo Field in December 1941 prior to the 1942 Orange Bowl in which they defeated TCU. When the Phillies held spring training at the ballpark in 1942, box seats cost $1.65, the grandstand was $1.10, and bleacher seats $0.55.In 1956, the field was rundown but was being used by the Miami Beach and St. Patrick's high school baseball teams. Today, the site is still in use as public park with a ballpark, known as Flamingo Park.
