Barsingerhorn (West Frisian: Barregórre) is a small city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Heerhugowaard. It received city rights in 1415.

Blokhuizen is a hamlet located in the municipality of Hollands Kroon in the Dutch province of North Holland. Blokhuizen is located just north of Zijdewind, formally it also falls under that place. The name already appeared in an exploit from 1660 as "Blockhuysen." It was on a number of cards, including those from North Holland by Joost Janszoon Bilhamer from 1575, the name "Blockhuysen" was also mentioned. The name may have been derived from the fact that the nucleus is approximately at the place where once two blockhouses were once located. A log cabin is a defense post erected from small trunks and large, heavy beams, usually located on a connecting road.Until 1 January 2012, Blokhuizen was part of the municipality Niedorp that merged into a municipal reorganization with three other municipalities to become Hollands Kroon on that date.

Moerbeek is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 11 km north of Heerhugowaard. Moerbeek is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Lutjewinkel. Moerbeek has place name signs. It was home to 90 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of about 60 houses.

Schagen railway station serves the town of Schagen, Netherlands. The station opened on 20 December 1865 and is located on the Den Helder–Amsterdam railway. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The train station has 3 platforms. The line between Schagen and Den Helder is single track and between Schagen and Alkmaar double track. The track between Schagen and Heerhugowaard was also single track until 1995. In 2009 the station was modernised; some roofs were replaced and two new lifts were built.

Schagen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈsxaːɣə(n)] (listen)) is a city and municipality in the northwestern Netherlands. It is located between Alkmaar and Den Helder, in the region of West Friesland and the province of North Holland. It received city rights in 1415. In 2013, Schagen merged with Zijpe and Harenkarspel. Together they have formed a new municipality, which is also called Schagen. The townhall is located in the main town of Schagen. Before the merger in 2013 the municipality of Schagen only consisted of the town of Schagen. In 2013 the municipality was extended with neighbouring municipalities. It had a population of 46,532 in 2021 and covers an area of 187.28 km2 (72.31 sq mi).

Zijdewind (West Frisian: Sidewind) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 8 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned in 1421 as Nuwe Nyedorper Zydwijnde, and means "sidewards located dike". Zijdewind started as a peat excavation village. In 1652, a church was built, but was decommissioned. It was used as a farm and often mockingly called the cow church. In 1970, it was demolished to make way for a roundabout.The statistical area "Zijdewind", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 310.

De Weere (West Frisian: De Weare) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 12 km north of Heerhugowaard. De Weere is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Lutjewinkel. It has no place name signs, and consists of about 25 houses.

Waarland (West Frisian: ´t Waarland) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 6 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned in 1665 as "De Waedt Polder", and originally meant "polder enclosed by waterways". The polder mill Waarland was built around 1532. It was in service until 1949 when a pumping station was installed. The windmill was restored in 2017.

't Veld is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 8 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned between 1839 and 1859 as "'t Veld", and means "field".

Groeneveld is a former municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland. It was located to the west of the city of Delft. The municipality covered the Groeneveldse Polder, northwest of De Lier, and contained no towns or villages; only the hamlet of Lierhand. The municipality of Groeneveld was split off from 't Woud in 1817, and only existed until 1855, when it became part of Hof van Delft.
