Par force hunting landscape in North Zealand

Store Dyrehave (literally Large Animal Park) is a forest located to the east of the village Ny Hammersholt immediately south of Hillerød, on both sides of Københavnsvej, in North Zealand, Denmark. Consisting of conifers and beech, it was enclosed with stone walls in 1619–28 as a royal deer park for hunting. In 1680, Christian V introduced a geometrical system of roads forming a star with eight branches for par force hunting. Although par force hunting was discontinued in 1777, the road system and numbered stone posts remain fully intact. Store Dyrehave is one of the three forests forming the Par force hunting landscape in North Zealand, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hegnsholt is a country house an estate located at Grønholt, between Fredensborg and Hillerød, North Zealand, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first main building on the estate was built in 1815 to designs by Christian Frederik Hansen but it was extended in 1904 and adapted by the architect Louis Hygom in 1920 for the businessman William Bendix. The estate is now owned by Cabinn Hotels-owner Niels Fennet. The adjacent Grønholt Airfield was built on part of the land in 1940.

Tokkekøb Hegn is a forest located north of Blovstrød and east of Lillerød in Allerød Municipality, North Zealand, some 20 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. It adjoins Store Dyrehave to the north, although an open landscape surrounding the village of Kirkelte partly separates the two forests. To the south it adjoins the Høvelte-Sandholm military trainings grounds.

Grønholt halt is a railway halt near the village of Grønholt near the town of Hillerød in North Zealand, Denmark. The halt is located on the Little North Line from Helsingør to Hillerød. The train services are currently operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Helsingør station and Hillerød station.

Allerød station is a railway station serving the town of Lillerød in Allerød municipality north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on the Hillerød radial of Copenhagen's S-train network. The station opened in 1864. Originally it was named Lillerød, but the name was changed in 1952 to prevent confusion with nearby Hillerød. The station is served by A trains.

Favrholm station is a railway station in the southern part of the town of Hillerød in North Zealand, Denmark. The station serves the new city district of Favrholm and will serve the coming North Zealand Hospital which is expected to open in 2026.The station opened in 2023. It is located on the Hillerød radial of Copenhagen's S-train network and the Frederiksværk Line between Hillerød and Hundested.

Carlsberg (also spelled Karlsberg), formerly known as the Fishing Master's House (Danish: Fiskemesterhuset), is a house and former estate located on Københavnsvej at the southeastern entrance to Hillerød, Denmark. The property traces its history back to the first half of the 18th century but the current two residential units building was constructed in the 1750s. A number of artists have resided in the building in the late 19th and early 20th century, including Viggo Pedersen and Niels Skovgaard. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1949. The nearby road Carlsbergvej is named after the property.

Frederiksborg Amt (English: Frederiksborg County) is a former county (Danish: amt) in the north of the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. Effective January 1, 2007, the county was abolished and merged into Region Hovedstaden (i.e. Copenhagen Capital Region).

Hillerød (Danish pronunciation: [ˈhiləˌʁœðˀ]) is a Danish town with a population of 36,043 (1 January 2023) located in the centre of North Zealand approximately 30 km to the north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Hillerød is the administrative centre of Hillerød Municipality and also the administrative seat of Region Hovedstaden (Capital Region of Denmark), one of the five regions in Denmark. It is most known for its large Renaissance castle, Frederiksborg Castle, now home to the Museum of National History. Hillerød station is the terminus of one of the radials of the S-train network as well as several local railway lines. The town is surrounded by the former royal forests of Gribskov to the north and Store Dyrehave to the south.
