Grønholt railway halt

Hegnsholt is a country house an estate located at Grønholt, between Fredensborg and Hillerød, North Zealand, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first main building on the estate was built in 1815 to designs by Christian Frederik Hansen but it was extended in 1904 and adapted by the architect Louis Hygom in 1920 for the businessman William Bendix. The estate is now owned by Cabinn Hotels-owner Niels Fennet. The adjacent Grønholt Airfield was built on part of the land in 1940.

Egelund House (Danish: Egelund Slot) is a former royal residence built by Queen Dowager Louise Josephine from 1915 to 1917 on the road between Hillerød and Fredensborg, near the village of Nødebo and the southern tip of Lake Esrom, 35 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Today it is owned by Dansk Arbejdsgiverforening and used as a congress and training centre.

Kratbjerg halt is a railway halt serving the district of Kratbjerg in the western part of the town of Fredensborg in North Zealand, Denmark. The halt is located on the Little North Line from Helsingør to Hillerød. The train services are currently operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Helsingør station and Hillerød station.

Skipperhuset refers to a small cluster of historic buildings including an 18th-century former royal boathouse located in Fredensborg Palace gardens on the southeastern shoreline of Lake Esrum at Fredensborg, Denmark. The buildings are now home to the Lake Esrum Boat Service and a restaurant.

Until 1 January 2007 Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune was a municipality (Danish, kommune) on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 72 km², and had a total population of 20,024 (2005). Its last mayor was John Hemming, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The site of its municipal council was in Fredensborg. The municipality was a conglomerate of several small towns, the two major ones being Fredensborg and Humlebæk. Fredensborg-Humlebæk municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Karlebo Kommune municipality to form the new Fredensborg Kommune. This created a municipality with an area of 112 km² and a total population of 39,187 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Hovedstaden ("Capital Region").

The Fredensborg Houses (Danish: Fredensborghusene) form a housing complex in natural surroundings on the outskirts of the small town of Fredensborg in the north of Zealand, Denmark. The houses were designed by Jørn Utzon for Danes who have worked for long periods abroad.

Nødebo Church (Danish: Nødebo Kirke) is located in Nødebo in the northern part of the Danish island of Zealand. Fredensborg Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden (Capital Region). The municipality covers an area of 112.13 km2 and has a total population of 41,689 (as of 1. January 2023). Its mayor, since 2010, is Thomas Lykke Pedersen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The municipality was created on 1 January 2007, in a merger of the former municipalities of Karlebo Kommune and Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune. Fredensborg Palace is the Danish Royal Family’s spring and autumn residence. Queen Ingrid of Denmark and Prince Consort Henrik died there.

Lille Rolighed is a late 18th-century, thatched house situated on the street that leads up to Fredensborg Palace in Fredensborg, Denmark. The garden features the grave of embroidery artist Cathrine Marie Møller. The house from 1777 (extended in 1820), an outhouse from 1840 and Møller's tomb were listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1964,

Dorothealyst is an 18th-century house situated on the street that leads up to Fredensborg Palace in Fredensborg, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1970.

The Bournonville House, located at Slotsgade 9, the main access road to Fredensborg Palace, is the former summer residence of choreographer August Bournonville in Fredensborg, some 30 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.
