The Odd Fellows Lodge is a historic Odd Fellows clubhouse located at Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina. It was designed by E.G. Porter in Classical Revival and Romanesque styles. It was built in 1906, and is a three-story brick building. It served historically as a clubhouse and as a specialty store. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

First Presbyterian Church, also known as the Church of Christ, Scientist, is a historic Presbyterian church located at 111 W. Ash Street in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina. It was built in 1856, and is a one-story, stuccoed, temple form Greek Revival architecture style church. It features an in antis portico with Tuscan order columns and low pitched roof with a painted wooden cupola. In 1953, the building was sold to the Christian Science Society. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Congregation Oheb Sholom (transliterated from Hebrew as "Lovers of Peace") is a former Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue that was located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, in the United States. The former synagogue building is one of fewer than a hundred nineteenth-century synagogues still standing in the United States, and the second oldest synagogue building in the state. The congregation is inactive and the former synagogue building is leased to an Episcopal church for use as a food pantry.

Wayne School of Engineering is a high school in Goldsboro, North Carolina, USA. The school currently serves grades 6–13. Wayne School of Engineering is housed at Goldsboro High School and selects students through an application process which all rising freshmen and 6th graders in Wayne County are eligible for. The school opened August 8, 2007.

L. D. Giddens and Son Jewelry Store is a historic commercial building located at Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina. It was built between 1839 and 1847, and is a two-story, three-bay, brick building. It measures 104 feet long and 23 feet, 6 inches wide. It features cast iron ornamentation and a freestanding clock (1877) at the street measuring 14 feet high. L. D. Giddens and Son was founded in 1859 and may be the oldest jewelry store in North Carolina. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Harry Fitzhugh Lee House is a historic home located at Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina. It was built in 1922, and is a two-story, five-bay, Colonial Revival style brick dwelling with a gambrel roof and frame shed-roof dormers. A 1+1⁄2-story gambrel roofed addition was built in 1939. It features a covered porch supported by paired Doric order pillars. It was the home of Harry Fitzhugh Lee, a prominent Goldsboro businessman and a great-nephew of General Robert E. Lee. It was designed by local architect John David Gullett. The building was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Goldsboro Union Station is a former passenger train depot and future intermodal transit station in Goldsboro, North Carolina, United States. Originally operating from 1909 to 1968, the Eclectic two-story brick depot was preserved as one of the most ambitious railroad structures in North Carolina, built as a symbol of the importance of railroading to Goldsboro. Currently closed-off for future renovations, the five-acre (2.0 ha) facility also includes the GWTA Bus Transfer Center.

It is the principal city of and is included in the Goldsboro, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. The nearby town of Waynesboro was founded in 1787, and Goldsboro was incorporated in 1847. It is the county seat of Wayne County. The hospital was recognized as a best maternity care hospital in 2022 and in 2023, UNC Health Wayne earned its highest patient safety and quality ratings in history with a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of "A" and a CMS Star quality rating of 4 out of 5. The hospital also earned first ever certifications and accreditations in stroke, total hip and knee replacement, chest pain as well as platinum chest pain/MI care awards and high performance ratings for heart failure, kidney failure, stroke and COPD in 2022 and 2023. UNC Health Wayne became a Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program site in 2023 and was recognized as a top 12% and largest hospital in Eastern North Carolina with the highest consistent quality and patient safety ratings (4-stars and 6 consecutive A grades).

Cherry Hospital is an inpatient regional referral psychiatric hospital located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, United States. As one of three psychiatric hospitals operated by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, it provides services to 38 counties in the eastern region of North Carolina. It is part of the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities within the Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees and manages 14 state-operated healthcare facilities that treat adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
