Immaculate Heart of Mary School (Marche, Arkansas)

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is a historic Roman Catholic church in northern Pulaski County, Arkansas. It is located off Arkansas Highway 365 on Blue Hill (Jasna Gora) in Marche, north of North Little Rock.

Marche (sometimes also called Warren) is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It lies 12 miles (19 km) north of Little Rock. It is not a census-designated place.

Oak Grove High School was a public secondary school located in unincorporated Pulaski County, Arkansas, near North Little Rock. Oak Grove High School served grades 7 through 12 and was administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. Since 1967, Oak Grove had been accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI). Oak Grove's official colors were green and white and the school's mascot was a hornet. The 2010-2011 school year was the last year for Oak Grove to operate. The school mascot was transferred to the new Maumelle High School which was built a few miles away in Maumelle, AR. The name "Oak Grove" and the school's colors did not transfer. The 2011-2012 school year was the first year in which Maumelle had its own high school. Since its closure, the campus has been frequently vandalized and broken into. Several incidents of thieves ripping out copper wiring from various A/C units and breaking into the shop building to steal copper wiring within have been reported. The incidents have forced school administrators to remove all of the school's A/C units. In early 2013 ThatChurch.com purchased the school and immediately began the transformations into The Oak Grove Life Center. A new 501C3 nonprofit organization was formed and the Oak Grove High School took on its new identity as The Oak Grove Life Center.

Maumelle High School is a public secondary school located in Maumelle, Arkansas, United States, for students in grades nine through twelve. Maumelle is one of four high schools administered by the Pulaski County Special School District and is fed into by Maumelle Middle School. In addition to Maumelle it serves Crystal Hill.

Wild River Country was an outdoor water park located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. It was the largest water park in the state of Arkansas. [1] It was a popular attraction of the city and saw many visitors from all over the region. It however was unable to open for the 2020 season due to legal reasons and was sold in auction.

Central Arkansas Christian Schools (CAC) is a group of three private schools based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. CAC was established in 1971 at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ in Sherwood, Arkansas. Because of its foundation date, the school has been categorized as a segregation academy although enrollment records indicate black students were enrolled in the school as early as 1974. The Central Arkansas Christian School system includes a combination middle and high school campus in North Little Rock and two elementary schools: a campus in Pleasant Valley/Little Rock and a campus in North Little Rock. Together, they composed the state's fourth-largest combined private school for the 2018-19 school year. The schools are "affiliated" with (but not operated or owned by) the Churches of Christ and are members of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Crystal Hill is an unincorporated community in Hill Township, Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It is located along Crystal Hill Road near the junction of Interstate 40 (I-40) and I-430.

Academics Plus Charter Schools (APCS) is an open-enrollment public charter school system in the Little Rock metropolitan area, United States; the Academics Plus Charter School District maintains its headquarters in Maumelle. It consists of three schools: Scott Charter School in Scott, Maumelle Charter Elementary School in Maumelle, and Maumelle Charter High School in Maumelle. Academics Plus was chartered in 2001 as the first charter school in Arkansas. The charter was renewed in 2003 and 2007. The Arkansas Department of Education classifies the school system as a school district.

Maumelle is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city's population was 19,251. The city is located northwest of Little Rock, bordering the opposite shore of the Arkansas River and is part of the Little Rock metropolitan area.

Lloyd England Hall is a historic building at the northwest corner of 6th and Missouri Streets, on the grounds of Camp Joseph T. Robinson, an Arkansas National Guard base in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a Spanish Revival structure, designed by the Little Rock architectural firm of Thompson, Sanders, and Ginnochio, and built in 1931, when the facility was known as Camp Pike. Originally built as an auditorium and meeting hall, it is now home to the Arkansas National Guard Museum. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Maumelle Ordnance Works Bunker No. 4 is a historic munitions storage facility at 4 Willastein Drive in Maumelle, Arkansas. It is a concrete structure, 61 by 27 feet (18.6 m × 8.2 m), with a rounded roof and ventilation stack. It is covered with earth, with a trapezoidal concrete side wall exposed, which has a steel door at its center. The bunker was built in 1941–42 to store the explosives picric acid and ammonium picrate for use during World War II. Of 21 built in Maumelle, all but three have been demolished, and this is the only one that is entirely intact.The bunker was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Robinson Maneuver Training Center, also known as Camp Joseph T. Robinson, is a 32,000-acre (13,000 ha) Arkansas Army National Guard installation located in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. It hosts the Joint Force Headquarters of the Arkansas National Guard, the Headquarters of the Arkansas Air National Guard, the Headquarters of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade, the Headquarters of the 87th Troop Command, and the Camp Pike U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex. The installation is also home to three National Guard training centers: The National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC), the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center (NGMTC), and the 233d Regiment (Regional Training Institute).
