Sydney Nursing School

The Faculty of Medicine and Health is a constituent body of the University of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It was launched on 30 April 2018.

The University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre was established for the research and treatment of disorders of the brain and mind. Child development and behaviour, mental health, and ageing and neurodegeneration are among the greatest health challenges of the 21st century. The Brain and Mind Centre strives to see a world where people affected can reach their full potential and play an active role in society.

Camperdown is an inner western suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Camperdown is located 4 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district and is part of the Inner West region. Camperdown lies across the local government areas of the City of Sydney and Inner West Council. Camperdown is a heavily populated suburb and is home to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, the University of Sydney and the historic Camperdown Cemetery. It was also once home to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, which was relocated to be next to Westmead Hospital in Sydney's west. The hospital buildings and grounds have been redeveloped into apartment complexes.

Newtown, a suburb of Sydney's inner west, is located approximately four kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, straddling the local government areas of the City of Sydney and Inner West Council in the state of New South Wales, Australia.King Street is the main street of Newtown and centre of commercial and entertainment activity. The street follows the spine of a long ridge that rises up near Sydney University and extends to the south, becoming the Princes Highway at its southern end. Enmore Road branches off King Street towards the suburb of Enmore at Newtown Bridge, where the road passes over the railway line at Newtown Station. Enmore Road and King Street together comprise 9.1 kilometres of over 600 shopfronts. The main shopping strip of Newtown is the longest and most complete commercial precinct of the late Victorian and Federation period in Australia. King Street is often referred to as "Eat Street" in the media due to the large number of cafés, pubs and restaurants of various cultures. Cafés, restaurants and galleries can also be found in the streets surrounding King Street. Newtown's rugby league club competed in the NSWRFL Premiership from its foundation in 1908 until 1983.

Cranbrook is a heritage-listed residence at 14 Australia Street, Camperdown, Inner West Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1879 to 1881. It is also known as Fowlers House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Sancta Sophia College (colloquially as Sancta) is a residential college for undergraduate women and postgraduate men and women at the University of Sydney. The college has a Catholic foundation but admits students of all religions. Fiona Hastings has been the Principal of the College since 2018.

The King George V Memorial Hospital for Mothers and Babies is a former hospital, exclusively for mothers and babies, in Sydney, Australia. It is located on Missenden Road in Camperdown, directly opposite the main buildings of the much larger Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with which it was amalgamated on 14 November 2002.

The Admission Block, or Administration Building, is a heritage-listed hospital building within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital at Missenden Road, Camperdown, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by George Allen Mansfield of Mansfield Brothers and built from 1876 to 1882. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Victoria and Albert Pavilions are jointly heritage-listed public hospital buildings within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital at Missenden Road, Camperdown, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The pavilions were designed by NSW Government Architect Walter Liberty Vernon in consultation with Mansfield Brothers and built from 1901 to 1904. They were added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (abbreviated RPAH or RPA) is large of teaching hospital in Sydney, Australia, located on Missenden Road in Camperdown. It is a teaching hospital of the Central Clinical School of the Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney and is situated in proximity to the Blackburn Building of the university's main campus. RPAH is the largest hospital in the Sydney Local Health District, with approximately 700 beds (circa 2005). Following a $350 million redevelopment, the perinatal hospital King George V Memorial Hospital has been incorporated into it.An Australian television documentary, RPA, was filmed there from 1995 to 2012, depicting the everyday workings of a major metropolitan hospital. RPA is ranked 3rd on Newsweek's 2021 ranking of Australia's best hospitals.

Sewage Pumping Station 3 is a heritage-listed sewerage pumping station located near 1 Booth Street, Annandale, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The building is located adjacent to Johnstons Creek. It was built from 1902 to 1904 by the New South Wales Public Works Department. It is also known as SPS 3, SP0003, Booth Street Sewage Pumping Station and Annandale Sewage Pumping Station. The property is owned by Sydney Water. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 1999.

The Charles Perkins Centre (CPC) is an Australian medical research institute, clinic and education hub that primarily focuses on diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity, as well as other related conditions. The centre is affiliated with the University of Sydney and is located within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital health precinct at the Camperdown campus of the university in Sydney, New South Wales. The centre is named in honour of alumnus Charles Perkins, the first man of Aboriginal descent to graduate from an Australian university. The centre's academic director is Professor Stephen Simpson. Designed by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp with Building Studio, construction of the 49,500 square metres (533,000 sq ft) A$385 million Centre began in 2012 and was officially opened in June 2014. Completed in the Modernist Australian architectural style, the centre was shortlisted for the World's Best Building award in the Higher Education and Research category at the 2015 World Architecture Festival.Many professorial chairs at the centre were funded by the A$20.6 million sale of a Picasso painting at Christie's, which was donated to the university in 2010.
