Rosa Parks Transit Center

Detroit City Apartments is a high-rise in downtown Detroit, Michigan. Built in 1981 and named Trolley Plaza for nearby Washington Boulevard trolley line, the residential building stands 28 stories tall. The building is located at 1431 Washington Boulevard and occupies the block bordered by Clifford Street, Grand River Avenue and Washington Boulevard. In 2009, Village Green purchased the building and changed the name of the high-rise apartments to Washington Square. In 2013, Washington Square became the Detroit City Apartments.The property consists of a 5-floor parking structure topped by 23 floors of residential apartments. The 6th floor, which extends out of the parking structure, includes the lobby, swimming pool, health club, tennis court, and other amenities. Two-story, townhouse-style penthouse suites fill the 27th and 28th floors.

The AT&T Michigan Headquarters is a complex of skyscrapers and buildings located at 1st Street, Cass Avenue, State Street, and Michigan Avenue in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It contains the AT&T Building, the AT&T Building addition, the Maintenance Shop and is owned by communications giant AT&T.

The Book Tower is a 145 m (476 ft), 38-story skyscraper located at 1265 Washington Boulevard in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, within the Washington Boulevard Historic District. Construction began on the Italian Renaissance-style building in 1916, as an addition to the original Book Building, and finished a decade later. Designed in the Academic Classicism style, it has 38 rentable floors, two basement levels and two mechanical floors. It has a green copper roof, a roofing style shared by the nearby Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. Retail and gallery floors used to reside on the first and second floors, with businesses previously occupying the rest. The building is currently unoccupied but is under renovation by Bedrock Real Estate Services and is planned to open again.

Michigan Avenue station is a Detroit People Mover station in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It is located at the corner of Michigan and Cass Avenues. The station takes its name from nearby Michigan Avenue (where it intersects). This station, like Times Square serves the new Rosa Parks Transit Center. The former Tiger Stadium site, on Michigan & Trumbull, is also accessible from this station, approximately 1 mile to the west.

Times Square station is a Detroit People Mover station in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It is located on Grand River Avenue between Cass Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The station takes its name from nearby Times Square, which in turn, took the name from the defunct Detroit Times newspaper formerly headquartered there. The People Mover's garage and maintenance facilities are attached to Times Square, and the Rosa Parks Transit Center, the main hub for DDOT buses, is located right outside the station's entrance. Times Square is the only People Mover station with two tracks, one on the main loop and another leading into the garage, which flank the station's island platform. The People Mover shut down temporarily on March 30, 2020, due to decreased ridership amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The system has since resumed service, but as of June 2022, Times Square remains closed, with trains bypassing the station and continuing to Michigan Avenue.

The Gabriel Richard Building, also known as the Weil and Company Building, is high-rise located at 305 Michigan Avenue in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. The building will open as a residential apartment building known as the Gabriel Houze in late 2017.

The Patrick V. McNamara Federal Building is a class-A skyscraper located at 477 Michigan Avenue in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, designed by the Detroit architectural firm of Smith, Hinchman and Grylls. It opened in 1976 to consolidate the offices of federal agencies which were scattered in several locations in the area. It houses offices of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Contract Management Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD), Internal Revenue Service, Peace Corps, Railroad Retirement Board, Veteran Affairs (VA), The American Legion Department of Michigan and Social Security Administration. It is named for Patrick V. McNamara, a Democratic United States Senator from the State of Michigan from 1955 to 1966.

General Alexander Macomb is a monumental statue in Detroit, Michigan, United States. The monument, designed by sculptor Adolph Alexander Weinman, was dedicated in 1908 in honor of Alexander Macomb, a Detroit native who had served as the Commanding General of the United States Army for several years in the early 1800s. The statue was dedicated on September 11, on the anniversary of the Battle of Plattsburgh, a War of 1812 battle that Macomb had participated in. In recent years, the statue has come under criticism due to Macomb's connections to slavery and the mistreatment of Native Americans.

Detroit Plaindealer (1883–1894) also known as simply The Plaindealer, was an American newspaper that served the Black community and was published in Detroit. Since 2020, the former newspaper publishing building has a historical marker at 1114 Washington Boulevard in the Capitol Park district in Detroit.

The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit is a historic skyscraper hotel in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, within the Washington Boulevard Historic District. Designed in the Neo-Renaissance style, and opened as the Book-Cadillac Hotel in 1924, the 349 ft (106 m), 31-story, 453-room hotel includes 65 exclusive luxury condominiums and penthouses on the top eight floors. It reopened in October 2008, managed by Westin Hotels, after a $200-million restoration.

The Detroit-Leland Hotel is a historic hotel located at 400 Bagley Street in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It is the oldest continuously operating hotel in downtown Detroit, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The ballroom of the Detroit-Leland has hosted a nightclub, the City Club, since 1983. The hotel is now named The Leland and no longer rents to overnight guests.

The Michigan Building is an office building and the former Michigan Theater in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It was constructed in 1925 and stands at 13 floors in height. The building contains a bar, restaurant, retail space, office space, a parking garage, and the shared coworking space Cowork at The Michigan. The current owner, Bagley Acquisitions Corp., offered the structure for auction in 2014 with a minimum requested bid of $1 million, but received no offers.The high-rise was constructed in the Renaissance Revival. The exterior of the building is faced with brick with terra cotta and granite accents. The ground level contains retail space with large windows still framed by the original decorative metal work.
