The Tomb of Macridy Bey (Greek: Τάφος Μακρίδη Μπέη, romanized: tafos makridi bei, also known as the Tomb of Langadas, is an ancient Macedonian tomb of the Classical or early Hellenistic period, on the site of ancient Lete, modern Derveni between Thessaloniki and Langadas, in Central Macedonia, Greece. A number of cist graves and a single chamber tomb are located in the vicinity. The structure seems to date to the late fourth or early third century BCE.

Lete (Ancient Greek: Λήτη or Λητή) was an ancient city in Mygdonia, Macedon and Roman Catholic titular see in the Roman province of Macedonia.

Lagyna (Greek: Λαγυνά) is a village and a community of the Lagkadas municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Lagkadas, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 3,591 inhabitants in the village. The community of Lagyna covers an area of 13.435 km2.According to the statistics of Vasil Kanchov ("Macedonia, Ethnography and Statistics"), 700 Greek Christians lived in the village in 1900.

Central Macedonia (Greek: Κεντρική Μακεδονία, romanized: Kentrikí Makedonía, IPA: [ce(n)driˈci maceðoˈni.a]) is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece, consisting of the central part of the geographical and historical region of Macedonia. Efkarpia (Greek: Ευκαρπία) is a suburb of the Thessaloniki Urban Area and a former municipality in the regional unit of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pavlos Melas, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 31.572 (2022). The municipal unit has an area of 13.263 km2.

Filyro (Greek: Φίλυρο) is a suburban village located 10 km northeast from the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. It is part of the municipality Pylaia–Chortiatis, and is located at the northwest end of Mount Chortiatis.

Makedonikos Stadium (greek: Γήπεδο Μακεδονικού / Gipedo Makedonikou) is a football stadium located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is home to Makedonikos football club. The stadium was also used by Iraklis FC for two seasons when the Kaftanzoglio Stadium was under renovation for Athens 2004 Olympics. For that reason, during 2002, it was upgraded to meet Greece 1st division standards. On 5 June 1983, its record attendance was set with 9,422 attendants for the match Makedonikos FC vs Olympiacos. It has also been used for live concerts by Ska-P, Scorpions and others.

Mygdonia (Greek: Μυγδονία) is a suburb and a former municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Oraiokastro, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 10,491 (2011). The municipal unit of Mygdonia includes three communities, Drymos (Δρυμός), Liti (Λητή) and Melissochori (Μελισσοχώρι). The seat of the municipality was in Liti. The municipal unit has an area of 98.506 km2.According to archaeologists, the area has been inhabited since the Mesolithic era (9000-7000 BC). The first inhabitants were Pelasgians, followed by Thracian tribes such as the Mygdones and the Edoni, until Alexander I of Macedon conquered and annexed the area. Archaeological discoveries have been made in the area, near the Liti village and at the location Derveni. Discoveries include the ruins of the ancient city of Lete, ancient Macedonian tombs, tombstones, altars, statues, clay statuettes, coins, etc. Perhaps the most important discovery is the Derveni papyrus, an ancient Greek papyrus scroll, found in the city's necropolis in 1962 - a philosophical treatise on Orphic religion.

Oraiokastro (Greek: Ωραιόκαστρο) is a municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece and a suburb of Thessaloniki.

Polichni (Greek: Πολίχνη, literally Little town) is a suburb of the Thessaloniki Urban Area and was a former municipality in the regional unit of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pavlos Melas, of which it is a municipal unit. The population is 39,332 (2011 census), and it has a land area of 7.325 km2.The Polichni district includes the areas of: Anthokipoi (Gardens) Ano Polichni (Upper Polichni) Meteora Neromiloi (Water Mills) St PanteleimonThe central square of Polichni is named after the Saint Panteleimon church.

Drymos (Greek: Δρυμός), known before 1926 as Dremiglava (Greek: Δρυμίγκλαβα), is a village and a community of the Oraiokastro municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Mygdonia, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 3,659 inhabitants in the village. The community of Drymos covers an area of 42.011 km2.

Melissochori (Greek: Μελισσοχώρι), known before 1926 as Baldzha (Greek: Μπάλτζα), is a village and a community of the Oraiokastro municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Mygdonia, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 3,309 inhabitants in the village. The community of Melissochori covers an area of 37.561 km2.
