118 Mall, previously known as MERDEKA @ 118, is a seven-storey glass domed shopping mall currently under construction located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The name "118" was derived from the number of floors in the Merdeka 118 tower having at least 118 storeys. The mall is currently being developed and owned by PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), which is also the developer for the Merdeka 118. It is a 1.4-million-square-foot (0.13-million-square-metre) mall situated at the foot of the Merdeka 118 tower and will serve its precinct.

The Merdeka MRT station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) underground station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the stations of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and serves as an interchange station with Plaza Rakyat LRT station for LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling lines. The station was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the MRT line.The station's name translates to "independence" in English and is taken from its location near the historic Stadium Merdeka (English: Independence Stadium), where the independence of the Federation of Malaya was declared on 31 August 1957, and the covered Stadium Negara (English: National Stadium). The station is located beneath Jalan Hang Jebat, adjacent to historical landmarks such as Stadium Negara, Stadium Merdeka, Merdeka 118 and the future 118 Mall.

The Victoria Institution is the oldest secondary school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a memorial school, so-called because it was partly funded by public subscription intended for the erection of a permanent memorial to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887. The establishment of the school was further supported by financial contributions from the Sultan and government of Selangor, prominent Kuala Lumpur residents, and the general public.The school reverted to its original name (instead of SMK Victoria) in February 2009, after being granted approval in recognition of its having been declared part of Malaysia's national heritage.The Victoria Institution is a secondary school for male students only from Form 1 to 5. Female students are accepted for Form 6 (Lower and Upper). The school is widely known as VI, and a student of the Victoria Institution is known as a Victorian. Performing well both academically and in sports, the VI is considered one of the best non-residential schools in Malaysia. In 2007, VI was named as a Cluster School of Excellence by the then Minister of Malaysian Ministry of Education, Hishamuddin Hussein.

The Al-Bukhari Foundation Mosque (Malay: Masjid Yayasan Al-Bukhari) is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is adjacent to the Victoria Institution and opposite the Jalan Hang Tuah fire station and SP9 MR4 Hang Tuah LRT station.

Merdeka 118, also known as Merdeka PNB 118, Warisan Merdeka Tower and KL 118 is a 118-story, 678.9-metre-tall megatall skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's second-tallest building behind the Burj Khalifa. The building's name, Merdeka (which means 'independence'), is inspired by its proximity to two stadiums: Stadium Merdeka and Stadium Negara. The spire of the building was completed in November 2021.The building is expected to be finished by the end of 2022, and will become the tallest in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. It will surpass the 632 m (2,073 ft) Shanghai Tower as the world's second-tallest building and structure, surpassing the 451.9 m (1,483 ft) Petronas Twin Towers as the tallest building in Malaysia, and surpassing the 461 m (1,512 ft) Landmark 81 as the tallest building in ASEAN, also 47 m (154 ft) taller than the Shanghai Tower, 227 m (745 ft) taller than Petronas Twin Towers and 218 m (715 ft) taller than Landmark 81. Taking the title by virtue of its 168.5-metre-tall (553 ft) spire. The building will also be the first in Malaysia to receive a triple platinum rating from worldwide sustainability certifications, including the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

The Stadium Merdeka (also known as Merdeka Stadium/pronounced [stadiom mə(r).de.kə]; English: Independence Stadium) is a stadium based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is known as the site of the formal declaration of independence of the Federation of Malaya on 31 August 1957. The stadium is also the site of the proclamation of Malaysia on 16 September 1963. Currently owned by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), the stadium has a lower and an upper terrace, with a total capacity of 40,000, as well as 14 tunnels entrance, a covered stand, 50 turnstiles and 4 floodlight tower. The stadium was designed by American architect Stanley Jewkes, under the instruction of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman. Upon its completion, the stadium holds the world record for the tallest prestressed floodlight towers and the biggest cantilever shell roofs. The stadium was also the largest stadium in the Southeast Asia at the time of completion.The stadium was the principal venue in Kuala Lumpur for celebrations and sporting events until 1998 when the Bukit Jalil National Stadium was built for the 16th Commonwealth Games. Prior to that, the stadium was the home ground for the Malaysian national football team. The stadium witnessed the historic qualifying match of the 1980 Olympic Games, when the national football team last qualified the Olympic Games. However, due to the boycott led by the United States, the country did not participate in the final tournament. The stadium was also the venue for the Merdeka Tournament until 1995. Besides that, the stadium had hosted three out of the five Southeast Asian Games held in Kuala Lumpur. The stadium also hosted the fight between the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and British boxer Joe Bugner in 1975, prior to the Thrilla in Manila. In 1975, the stadium also hosted the Hockey World Cup final between Pakistan and India. The stadium is currently a national heritage building. In 2008, the Stadium Merdeka received the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Excellence for Heritage Conservation owing to its cultural significance and embodiment of a unique independence declaration event.

The People's Plaza (Malay: Plaza Rakyat) is an under construction mixed-use skyscraper complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia initiated during the 1990s. However the project, which had already commenced construction, stalled due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis until 2020 and is currently revived by DBKL. The project, originally designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, was to comprise a 79-storey office tower, a 46-storey condominium, a 24-storey hotel and a 7-storey shopping centre. The original Puduraya bus depot was also intended to be replaced. Minor demolition works on the abandoned site started back in 2020 to make way for Tower 2 which will consist a total of 70 floors, while Tower 3 will consist of 46 floors. A sales gallery for the new development has also been constructed along Jalan Pudu.

Pudu (Chinese: 富都, alt. 半山芭) is a ward of Kuala Lumpur located along the Pudu Road (Malay: Jalan Pudu). It houses Pudu Sentral (Kuala Lumpur's oldest bus station) and formerly Pudu Prison. Pudu Market (Malay: Pasar Besar Pudu) is one of the largest wet markets in Kuala Lumpur. Adjacent to it is Jalan Pasar (Pasar Road) where there are shops selling electronics components and devices. During colonial rule, Pudu was known as Pudoh.Pudu is sandwiched between Bukit Bintang, Maluri and Cheras. The Bukit Bintang City Centre development is located at the border of Pudu and Bukit Bintang right beside of the Hang Tuah LRT and monorail station. The Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line AG10 SP10 Pudu LRT station's sign was used in the movie Entrapment, although it was the SP17 Bukit Jalil LRT station that was used as the filming location.

Tung Shin Hospital (simplified Chinese: 同善医院; traditional Chinese: 同善醫院; pinyin: Tóngshàn Yīyuàn), formerly known as Pooi Shin Thong, is a 346-bed tertiary acute care hospital in Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The not-for-profit private hospital is accredited by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health and ISO 9001:2008 certified. It started as a provider of traditional Chinese Medicine treatment in 1881, and the Western Medicine division commenced operations in 1985.It owns and operates Tung Shin Academy of Nursing, a private nursing college located in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Confucian Private Secondary School (CPSS; Chinese: 尊孔獨立中學; pinyin: Zūnkǒng Dúlì Zhōngxué), is a Chinese Independent High School located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the oldest Chinese Independent High School in Malaysia. The school was founded in 1906 during British rule.

The Pudu Sentral (formerly Puduraya Terminal (Malay: Hentian Puduraya)) is the main local service bus terminus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was opened in 1976 by the late former Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn. Long-distance buses no longer arrive and leave from Pudu Sentral with these instead moved to Bandar Tasik Selatan Integrated Transport Terminal. Pudu Sentral thus lost half of the bus volume to the Bandar Tasik Selatan Integrated Transport Terminal.

Tung Shin Academy of Nursing, abbreviated as TSAN, is a non-profit, private nursing college located in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, affiliated to Tung Shin Hospital. Tung Shin Academy of Nursing was started in 1992. To date, more than 350 Assistant Nurses qualified from this academy are serving in various hospitals throughout Malaysia and Singapore. Tung Shin Academy of Nursing is accredited and recognized by Nursing Board, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
