Swan Point Cemetery

Darius Goff (May 10, 1809 – April 14, 1891) was one of the foremost textile manufacturers in the United States and a leading citizen of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He is known for introducing the manufacture of worsted braids and mohair plush upholstery into the United States.

Riverside Cemetery is an historic cemetery at 752 Pleasant Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It occupies a parcel of land about 34 acres (14 ha) in size between Pleasant Street and the Seekonk River, and just north of the much larger Swan Point Cemetery in neighboring Providence. The cemetery was established in 1874, and is Pawtucket's instance of a rural cemetery. The cemetery's creation was championed by John W. Davis (1826–1907), a local politician who later served two terms as Governor of Rhode Island, and was for many years the cemetery's resident manager, living in the cemetery manager's house, which was built around the time of the cemetery's founding. Davis himself is buried there and the cemetery has been run by his descendants. The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Butler Hospital is a private, non-profit, psychiatric and substance abuse hospital for adolescents, adults, and seniors, located at 345 Blackstone Boulevard in Providence, Rhode Island. The hospital is affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and is the flagship for Brown University's renowned department of psychiatry. Butler Hospital was a founding member, along with Women & Infants Hospital and Kent Hospital, of the Care New England health system in 1996.

The Blackstone Boulevard Realty Plat Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Blackstone Blvd., Rochambeau Ave., Holly St. and Elmgrove Ave. in Providence, Rhode Island.The district features architecture by Marshall B. Martin, William T. Aldrich and other structures of late 19th- and 20th-century colonial revivals. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Scholze–Sayles House is a historic house in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, built in 1874–75. It is one of two (the other is the nearby Louis Kotzow House) built by the German Land Cooperative Association, which sought to create a German-speaking enclave in the area. This house is a fine example of Gothic Revival style, and is stylistically similar to the Kotzow House, with a busy exterior that has numerous projecting and gabled sections, and Stick style decoration on a bay window. The interior was extensively redone in 1935 in a Federal Revival style by architect Albert Harkness.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Louis Kotzow House is a historic house in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, laid out in an L shape. Its exterior is visually busy, with numerous projecting dormer and gable sections, and elaborate woodwork, including bracketed eaves and applied Stick style woodwork on a projecting bay section. Its porch has a delicate jigsawn railing, with a wooden frieze and decorative arches above. The house, built c. 1875, is one of two (the other is the nearby Scholze–Sayles House) built by the German Land Cooperative Association, which sought to create a German-speaking enclave in the area.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Elmgrove Gardens Historic District is a residential historic district in northeastern Providence, Rhode Island, United States. It is bounded on the north by Rochambeau Street, on the south by Woodbury Street, on the east by Cole Street, and on the west by Morris Avenue. This area was developed most heavily between 1908 and 1948, and is a well-preserved example of an early automotive suburban residential area. Most of the houses in the district are either 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 stories in height, and are built in an architecturally diverse variety of styles. The district also includes to 18th-century farmhouses (at 287 and 317 Rochambeau), reminders of the area's agrarian past.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Festival Ballet Providence is a ballet company located in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Festival Ballet performs at Providence Performing Arts Center, Veterans Memorial Auditorium (Providence, Rhode Island), and their own Black Box Theatre.

The Morris Brown House is a historic house located in Providence, Rhode Island. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 1991.

Marvel Gymnasium was a 3,000-seat multipurpose gymnasium in Providence, Rhode Island. It was home to the Brown University Bears basketball team as well as other teams. The gymnasium included a basketball court and seating, a second-floor running track, squash and handball courts, a wrestling room, a boxing room, and a fencing room.

Providence Hebrew Day School (commonly referred to as "PHDS") is the oldest Jewish day school in Rhode Island, United States. The school was founded in 1946, and moved to its current location on Elmgrove Avenue on Providence's East Side in 1962. The current dean of PHDS is Rabbi Peretz Scheinerman. The famed Rabbi Mordechai Nissel was its dean from March 97 through July 2003

Hope Street is a major two lane bidirectional street running about three miles north to south on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. The street serves as a main artery serving most of the East Side district and connects the East Side to Pawtucket at the north, where it continues as East Avenue. It intersects with other important streets on the East Side including Blackstone Boulevard, Waterman Street, Angell Street, Thayer Street, and Wickenden Street. Unlike many major city arteries, Hope Street is predominantly residential, and most of the local stores and offices are located on other streets that branch off. Small areas, like the Hope Street Village, house local business and restaurants. Hope Street also runs through the eastern side of Brown University's campus. Hope High School (Rhode Island) is located on the street. Almost all of Hope Street is serviced by RIPTA's route 42, which provides transit services between Pawtucket and Downtown Providence.
