The Diocese of New York and New Jersey is a diocese of the Orthodox Church in America covering the states of New York and New Jersey. Reservoir 3 is a man-made reservoir located in the northern portion of the city of New Rochelle along the New Rochelle - Eastchester in Westchester County, New York. Constructed in 1908, the reservoir is impounded by the New Rochelle "Reservoir 3 dam" on the Hutchinson River. The dam is of earthen construction, with a height of 30 feet and a length of 450 feet. It has an area of about 30 acres, and a capacity of about 128,000,000 gallons. Maximum discharge is 1815 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 498 acre feet. Normal storage is 220 acre feet. It drains an area of 2.85 square miles. The reservoir is currently owned by the Westchester County Dept Of Parks and Recreation. This reservoir serves as a storage reservoir for the high-level system, with the overflow from it passing directly to Reservoir 2. The water from this reservoir, and from Reservoir 2, was originally pumped at a pumping station into the mains of the high service system to serve the northern portions of New Rochelle. The upper end of the reservoir is swampy at the point where the Hutchinson River enters. Just above the upper end of the reservoir and on the east side there is a small feeder which flows into the main river and has its headwaters near the parkway 500 or 600 feet to the east of the main river. About one-half of a mile above the upper end of the reservoir the Hutchinson River Parkway crosses the river between reservoirs 1 and 3.

Tuckahoe High School is a historic high school located in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1930–1931, and is a three-story brick building with Aztec-inspired cast stone trim in the Art Deco style. The front facade is composed of a three-story, nine bay central pavilion, deeply recessed two-story, five bay connecting wings, and projecting, identical, two-story, five bay end pavilions.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The 1916 PGA Championship was the first PGA Championship, which is now considered one of golf's major championships. It was held October 10–14 at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York, just north of New York City in Westchester County.Jim Barnes defeated Jock Hutchison by 1 hole in the 36-hole final, holing a 4-foot putt at the final hole.

The Marble Schoolhouse is a Greek Revival style schoolhouse in Eastchester, New York that was built in 1835. The stone of its facade was quarried in nearby Tuckahoe, New York. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.The building was moved to its current location in 1869.The schoolhouse features exhibits of local history and is open by appointment with the Eastchester Historical Society.

Seacord Cemetery (also known as the First Methodist Episcopal Churchyard and Methodist Episcopal Cemetery) is a historic cemetery located in the Wykagyl section the city of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. The cemetery is located to the south of the First Methodist Episcopal Church building at 1228 North Avenue. By the year 1787 the group which formed this church had become strong enough to buy a piece of property and erect a church. The graveyard adjoining the church on the south and west dates from the purchase of the church lot. The burial plot north of the church building is a family burying ground founded by Israel Seacord, owner of the farm.The section of the community in which this church and cemetery are located was called "Upper Rochelle" at the time and then contained a more important group of Methodists than the lower portion of town. There was no cemetery in this area until after the organization of the church in 1787. At present, there is no boundary line between the two cemeteries, so records include both. Also included here are the names from Saint John's Methodist Church, formerly located on Main where they were removed due to urban development.

The Ursuline School is an all-girls, independent, private, Roman Catholic middle and high school located on a 13-acre (53,000 m2) campus in New Rochelle, New York in Westchester County. The school was founded in 1897 by the Order of St. Ursula. The school is part of a network of 15 Ursuline schools in North America and many around the world.Ursuline is home to approximately 800 students, grades 6–12, that come from throughout the Metropolitan Area, including the Bronx, Westchester County, Rockland County, Manhattan and Connecticut.Ursuline's brother school is Iona Prep, also located in New Rochelle.

Wykagyl Country Club is a golf course in the Wykagyl section of New Rochelle, New York. Through the years, the club has hosted major professional and amateur tournaments and is considered to be one of the premier "classic courses" in the country. The club is private and application for membership is by invitation only.

Masterton-Dusenberry House is a historic home located at Bronxville, Westchester County, New York. It was built in the 1830s in an eclectic Greek Revival style. It was built as a summer home for locally prominent stonemason Alexander Masterton. It is a two-story, wood-frame residence on a stone foundation with a clapboard exterior and gable roof. It features a one-story, three bay wood front porch with an elaborate Doric order entablature, fluted columns, and a delicate railing. It also features a roofline balustrade. An addition was completed in the 1920s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Thomas Paine Historical Association is an organization based in New Rochelle, New York, that is dedicated to perpetuating the legacy of Founding Father Thomas Paine. It was organized on the anniversary of Paine's birthday, January 29, 1884, and is one of the oldest historical associations in the United States. It is one of two Thomas Paine legacy organizations based in New Rochelle, the other being the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum of the Huguenot and New Rochelle Historical Society, founded in 1886, which owns and maintains the Thomas Paine Cottage.
