The Diocese of New York and New Jersey is a diocese of the Orthodox Church in America covering the states of New York and New Jersey. The Cathedral of the Protection of the Holy Virgin on Second Street in Manhattan is the seat of the bishop, with diocesan offices located in Syosset, New York. The diocese is headed by Archbishop Michael Dahulich, the diocesan bishop, who assumed control of the diocese after his consecration to the episcopacy on May 8, 2010.

Masterton-Dusenberry House is a historic home located at Bronxville, Westchester County, New York. It was built in the 1830s in an eclectic Greek Revival style. It was built as a summer home for locally prominent stonemason Alexander Masterton. It is a two-story, wood-frame residence on a stone foundation with a clapboard exterior and gable roof. It features a one-story, three bay wood front porch with an elaborate Doric order entablature, fluted columns, and a delicate railing. It also features a roofline balustrade. An addition was completed in the 1920s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The 1916 PGA Championship was the first PGA Championship, which is now considered one of golf's major championships. It was held October 10–14 at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York, just north of New York City in Westchester County.Jim Barnes defeated Jock Hutchison by 1 hole in the 36-hole final, holing a 4-foot putt at the final hole.

Reservoir 2 is a man-made reservoir located in the northern portion of the city of New Rochelle along the New Rochelle - Eastchester in Westchester County, New York. Constructed in 1892, the reservoir is impounded by the "Reservoir 2 dam" on the Hutchinson River. The dam is masonry and of earthen construction, with a height of 25 feet and a length of 550 feet. It has a water area of about 18.3 acres and a capacity of about 37,000,000 gallons. Maximum discharge is 800 cubic feet per second. The reservoir is owned by the City Of New Rochelle.Reservoir 2 lies approximately .1 miles south of Reservoir 1, Lake Innisfree. The water from this reservoir, and from Reservoir 3, was originally pumped at a pumping station into the mains of the high service system to serve the northern portions of New Rochelle.

Tuckahoe High School is a historic high school located in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1930–1931, and is a three-story brick building with Aztec-inspired cast stone trim in the Art Deco style. The front facade is composed of a three-story, nine bay central pavilion, deeply recessed two-story, five bay connecting wings, and projecting, identical, two-story, five bay end pavilions.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Concordia College (CCNY) was a four-year liberal arts college in Bronxville, New York. Concordia College was sponsored by the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) and was a member of the Concordia University System. It was chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York to offer associate, bachelor, and master's degrees. Concordia, founded in 1881 as Concordia Progymnasium, received its original charter from the State Regents in 1936. From 1918 to 1969, it was named Concordia Collegiate Institute; in 1969, the preparatory school was closed and the present name of the college was authorized by a charter change. In 1972, the State Regents authorized the college to grant the baccalaureate degree. In 2011, the State Regents authorized the college to grant the master's degree.On January 28, 2021, Concordia announced that it would cease offering classes as of the Fall 2021 semester, and that Iona College would purchase the Bronxville campus and provide a "teach-out" for current students. A parade of graduates was held on May 8, 2021, to mark the final May commencement for the college. Classes ceased being offered by the college in August 2021, with a final conferral of degrees in December 2021.
