Bexhill Hospital

Sidley railway station is a closed railway station In Sidley, East Sussex. It was on the Bexhill West branch of the Hastings line from Tunbridge Wells. It was opened by the South Eastern and Chatham Railway and was operated by the Southern Region of British Railways on closing. All the station buildings and platforms were demolished soon after closure. The goods shed was the last railway building on the site which was demolished in 2009 having been derelict for many years. The cutting where the station was situated was infilled to about platform level and the levelled land used by a motorbike training centre which closed in 2012. Work started in January 2013 on construction of a new Bexhill to Hastings link road which has been built along the trackbed through the site of the platforms and opened in 2015.

The first recorded match on the ground was in 1894, when Viscount Cantelupe's XI played the touring South Africans in a non first-class match. The only first-class match held at the ground came in 1896 when Earl de la Warr's XI played the touring Australians. In 1965 when Sussex played the International Cavaliers. The ground is today a part of the sports field of St Richard's Catholic College.

The De La Warr Pavilion is a grade I listed building, located on the seafront at Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, on the south coast of England.The Modernist and International Style building was designed by the architects Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff and constructed in 1935. Although sometimes claimed to be the first major Modernist public building in Britain, it was preceded by some months by the Dutch-influenced Hornsey Town Hall.In 2005, after an extensive restoration, the De La Warr Pavilion reopened as a contemporary arts centre, encompassing one of the largest galleries on the south coast of England.On 18 February 2022, the bandstand, added early in the 21st century, was destroyed by strong winds from Storm Eunice.

The trackbed and site of the now demolished platforms are now occupied by commercial industrial buildings.
