Henry Connor Bost House

Foard-Tatum House is a historic plantation house located near Cooleemee, Davie County, North Carolina. It was built about 1845, and is a two-story, three-bay, timber frame dwelling in a transitional Federal /Greek Revival style. The interior is in the style of Asher Benjamin and a rear ell was added in the 1860s or 1870s. Also on the property are the contributing log smokehouse and corn crib. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Boxwood Estate is a historic hunting retreat and national historic district located near Mocksville, Davie County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 8 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 4 contributing structures on a rural estate including a manor house. It was developed between 1911 and 1931 by William Rabb Craig (1870-1931), a wealthy cotton and sugar broker. The manor house was built between 1933 and 1934, and is a two-story, "H"-plan, brick Colonial Revival dwelling designed by the architectural firm Delano & Aldrich. Other notable resources include the grounds of Boxwood Lodge, greenhouse (c. 1940), log cabin (1932-1933, 1940s), great barn (1910s), feed / grain house (c. 1940), and entrance piers (1934).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and Cemetery is a historic Episcopal church and cemetery located near Woodleaf, Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. It was built in 1840, and is a one-story. frame meetinghouse style building. It is sheathed in weatherboard and rests on a stone foundation. Adjacent to the church is the contributing cemetery with 53 inscribed markers. It is the oldest intact frame antebellum Episcopal church in North Carolina. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The mouth is located north of High Rock Lake, where the South Yadkin River meets the Yadkin River. Major cities along the course of the South Yadkin River include, Statesville in Iredell County and Cooleemee in Davie County. The South Yadkin River forms the border of Davie and Rowan counties. High Rock Lake begins at the confluence of the South Yadkin River and the similarly named and larger Yadkin River.

Philip Sowers House is a historic home located near Churchland, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built between about 1861 and 1870, and is a large two-story, vernacular Greek Revival style brick dwelling. The 1+1⁄2-story rear wing is of log construction and dates to the early-19th century. It has a Y-shaped triple wing design with the rooms arranged around a hexagonal stair hall with a graceful half-spiral staircase. Also on the property are a contributing corn crib and log barn.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The building cost $9.4 million, has 12,083 square feet (1,122.5 m2) and measures 60 by 170 feet (52 m), seating 760, on 107 acres (0.43 km2) of land. The church held a dedication mass on December 19, 2009. Sacred Heart has about 1000 registered families.

Franklin Township is one of fourteen townships in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 12,301 according to the 2000 census. Geographically, Franklin Township occupies 37.52 square miles (97.2 km2) in northern Rowan County. The only incorporated municipality located in Franklin Township is a portion of the city of Salisbury, the county seat of Rowan County. Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department provides fire suppression, prevention, and emergency medical care for its 12,000 plus citizens. The fire department currently operates out of two stations, with a complement of four pumper/tankers, two tanker trucks, one heavy rescue, one brush truck and one squad truck. The department in 2018 ran approximately 600 emergency calls. Franklin Township VFD has approximately 30 volunteer firefighters, with many holding either North Carolina Medical Responder or Emergency Medical Technician certification. In 2008, the department began having a paid staff of two firefighters working weekday's to help the department maintain equipment, ensure a timely response to calls, and provide services during the volunteers normal working hours.

The district encompasses 433 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 6 contributing structures on the original Cooleemee Cotton Mill Company property at Cooleemee. It was developed between 1898 and 1967, and includes notable examples of Gothic Revival, American Craftsman, and Colonial Revival style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the mill houses of 12 house types, Cooleemee Cotton Mill complex, Pest House and the company farm, Friendship Baptist Church (c. 1905), North Cooleemee Elementary School (1952), Church of the Good Shepherd (1925), Cooleemee United Methodist Church (1932), First Baptist Church of Cooleemee (1949), Cooleemee Recreation Center Bathhouse (1949), “The Holler,” and “Riverside Park,” also known as “Park Hill.”It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Hodges Business College, also known as Hodges School, is a historic school building located near Mocksville, Davie County, North Carolina. It was built in 1894, and is a two-story, rectangular, Gothic Revival style brick building. It features multiple Gothic-arched window openings and front entrance. The building housed a school into the 1910s, then was converted to tenant house, and after 1936 used for storage. The building was converted to a residence in the 1990s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
