Pine Island is a small, privately owned island in the city of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. The island is situated off the coast of Davenport Neck near Sans Souci Beach in Long Island Sound.

Huckleberry Island (or Whortleberry Island) is an island in Long Island Sound and part of New Rochelle, New York. It lies approximately three-fourths mile (1.2 km) east of Davids' Island. The 10 acres (4.0 ha) island consists primarily of deciduous forest with virtually no shrubs or herbaceous growth under the canopy. The rocky shoreline supports a marine rocky intertidal community comprising one of the most southerly occurrences of this community type on the North Atlantic Coastline.In the 19th century local tradition held that the island was the location of the buried treasure of Captain William Kidd, one of the most well-known pirates in history.

All View is a historic, 28 room estate home located on the Long Island Sound shore in the gated, Premium Point community of New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York. Although real estate advertisements have listed the architect as Stanford White, the actual designer was Sidney Vanuxem Stratton, who maintained an office in the same building as McKim, Mead & White. It sits on 2.82 acres at the end of the Premium Point peninsula overlooking New Rochelle's upper most harbor, Echo Bay. The 21,306 square foot home has eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and a six car garage. The grounds were designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, creator of New York's Central Park.

Davenport Neck is a peninsula in New Rochelle, New York, extending southwesterly from the mainland into Long Island Sound, and running parallel to the main shore. It divides the city's waterfront into two, with New Rochelle Harbor to the south and southwest, and Echo Bay, to the north and northeast. Glen Island and Neptune Island lie just to the west of the Neck, and Davids' and Huckleberry islands lie to the south. The Neck is one of the most important historical localities in the City of New Rochelle. Before white settlements, Siwanoy Indians encamped here, finding an abundant source of fish and wildlife. Until the early 19th century tidal mills produced flour and other goods for local use and for export. With the advent of steamboat, and the resorts and inns that sprang up along the waterfront as a result, New Rochelle became an enormously popular destination by the mid-1800s. Davenport Neck was the choice location for the "summer homes" of wealthy vacationers.

The Lispenard–Rodman–Davenport House is a historic residence dating back to the early 18th century located on the Davenport Neck peninsula in New Rochelle, New York. The house is the oldest residential structure in New Rochelle. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Davenport House, also known as Sans-Souci, is an 1859 residence in New Rochelle, New York, designed by architect Alexander Jackson Davis in the Gothic Revival style. The "architecturally significant cottage and its compatible architect-designed additions represent a rare assemblage of mid-19th through early 20th century American residential design".: 5  The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Premium Point is a guard-gated private community in the city of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York, United States. The area consists of a series small islands connected by bridges to a peninsular fronting on Long Island Sound and backing on Premium Mill Pond and Echo Bay. Much of the shore line of Premium Point is high and rocky, both on the Sound and on the Bay. Premium Mill Pond is located between the Premium Point peninsula and the mainland. It is fed by the Premium River and is separated from Echo Bay by the former Premium Mill dam. The only vehicular access to Premium Point is through a guardhouse and wrought iron gates at the end of the half-mile long entrance, Premium Point Road. The community is organized into a small corporation and run by a board of trustees. All property owners are members and stockholders in the Premium Point Association, Inc. The board dictates much about life behind the gates, from road repairs to security. The Association levies an annual tax for the purpose of maintaining 24-hour police guards at the entrance; constructing and maintaining all the roadways, which are private; collecting refuse; maintaining two docks located on the peninsula; and cleaning septic tanks, as the area has no public sanitary sewers. In addition, the Association provides a private beach for the residents.

Wildcliff, also referred to as the Cyrus Lawton House, was a historic residence overlooking Long Island Sound in New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. This 20-room cottage-villa, built in about 1852, was designed by prominent architect Alexander Jackson Davis in the Gothic Revival style. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 31, 2002.The unoccupied mansion was destroyed by a suspicious fire on the evening of November 26, 2018. The house was a total loss. On December 12, 2018, four 13-year old, middle school boys (all local, New Rochelle residents) were arrested and charged in connection with the fire. All were charged as juveniles with misdemeanor third-degree criminal trespass, while one faces a felony charge of fourth-degree arson.

Fort Slocum, New York was a US military post which occupied Davids Island in the western end of Long Island Sound in the city of New Rochelle, New York from 1867 to 1965. The fort was named for Major General Henry W. Slocum, a Union corps commander in the American Civil War.

The Pelham Islands are a group of islands in western Long Island Sound that belonged to Thomas Pell in the 17th century. The islands, and most of the surrounding area, were purchased from the Siwanoy Indians by Pell in 1654, creating Pelham Manor. This large tract of land would eventually become the present-day Town and Village of Pelham and Pelham Manor, Town of Eastchester, cities of New Rochelle and Mount Vernon in Westchester County, and the Pelham Bay and Eastchester neighborhoods of the Bronx in New York City. Several of the Pelham Islands became part of New Rochelle after Jacob Leisler’s purchase of 6,000 acres (2,400 hectares) from the Pell family in 1688. The remaining islands became part of Bronx County in 1895 with the establishment of the current Westchester-Bronx County line.

Davids Island is a 78-acre (320,000 m2) island off the coast of New Rochelle, New York, in Long Island Sound. Currently uninhabited, it was previously the site of Fort Slocum. The island is home to the endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtle, and birds such as osprey and least terns. Davids Island also supports valuable wetlands, rare rocky intertidal areas, and sandy beaches. The waters surrounding the island are home to winter flounder, Atlantic herring, and Atlantic silverside.

Titus Mill Pond & New York State Tidal Wetlands is located at the northeastern end of New Rochelle Harbor in the city of New Rochelle in Westchester, New York. The waters in the harbor and pond flow from Long Island Sound, with tides up to eight feet in the inlet and with no fresh water stream entering into it.
