Eben Dönges High School (Hoërskool Eben Dönges) is a government-funded high school in Kraaifontein, Western Cape, South Africa.

Wallacedene is an informal housing settlement on the eastern outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa. The settlement was established during the 1980s when the relaxation of pass laws allowed rural populations to more readily migrate to urban centres. By 2004, Wallacedene had an estimated population of 21,000 people. The housing rights activist Irene Grootboom lived in Wallacedene. Grootboom and other inhabitants won a Constitutional Court ruling in 2000 which stated that they could not be evicted without being offered alternative accommodation.

Neetlingshof Estate is a wine estate in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa. Established in 1692, it is one of the oldest wine estates in the country, founded only six or seven years after the first estate, Constantia. Its current bottling dates back to 1880.

Cape Winelands Airport (formerly Fisantekraal Airfield) is an ex-South African Air Force airfield built circa 1943, and used to operate Lockheed Ventura bombers. It is located approximately 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) northeast of Durbanville It has been in private ownership since 1993. Cape Winelands Airport serves as a general flying airfield, and is a favourite for flight training in the Cape Town area. Most of the fixed wing and helicopter schools, and Air Mercy Services' Pilatus PC-12 from Cape Town International (FACT) and Morningstar airfield (Morningstar Flight Academy) also visit Cape Winelands Airport for circuit and emergency training. Private and company aircraft sometimes pick up or drop passengers at Cape Winelands Airport . The largest aircraft to have landed at Cape Winelands Airport was as of 22 August 2017 a Lockheed C-130 Hercules, Call sign 5X-UCF, made several landings. Quite a few advertisements and movies have also been filmed on location at Cape Winelands Airport.

Fisantekraal is a township in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is located 10 kilometres (6 mi) northeast of Durbanville and about 40 kilometres (20 mi) northeast of central Cape Town. According to the 2011 census it has a population of 12,369 people.There is an airfield nearby by the same name, Fisantekraal Airfield.

Kraaifontein is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Organisationally and administratively it is included in the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality as a Northern Suburb. The name originated from large number of crows (Kraai in Afrikaans) that nest in the region.

Bracken Nature Reserve is a 36-hectare (89-acre) piece of protected land in Brackenfell in the Western Cape, South Africa.This park preserves badly threatened Cape Flats Sand Fynbos and Swartland Granite Renosterveld vegetation. A diverse array of orchids, succulents and flowering bulbs are among the over 160 plant species that occur here. Of these, ten occur only within the City of Cape Town and are in serious danger of extinction, including Antimima aristulata, cowslip (Lachenalia aloides), canary yellow vygie (Lampranthus glaucus) and carrion flower (Orbea variegate). The park is also home to a variety of small mammals, reptiles and amphibians, as well as range of bird species. There is an indigenous garden at the entrance, and footpaths that take visitors past birdlife and views of the surrounding countryside. The reserve is situated on top of an old quarry and landfill site so gas extraction pipes have had to be installed, to let the excess gases from the decomposing waste escape.

Klapmuts is the name of both a hill, and a town which formed at its foot. They are located in Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Brackenfell High School (Afrikaans: Hoërskool Brackenfell) is a public, co-educational high school in Brackenfell, Western Cape, South Africa. It was established on 26 January 1976 on a 1-acre (0.40 ha) plot of land donated by Janet Brink, the widow of Andries Brink.

Brackenfell is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa at the gateway to the Cape Winelands. Organisationally and administratively it is included in the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality as a Northern Suburb and is about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Cape Town City Bowl. In Brackenfell a variety of property situated on the slopes of the Bottelary Hills can be found.The Bracken Nature Reserve, situated in the Ruwari suburban area, was once a quarry site and was later declared a nature reserve after some negotiations between the Cape Town City Council and the Stellenbosch Divisional Council. Brackenfell offers schools, shopping malls and medical services, and many different sporting facilities.

Kayamandi Secondary School is a Xhosa-medium school serving grades 8–12 located in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape region of South Africa. The Western Cape Education Department categorizes it as the only purely Xhosa-speaking secondary school in the region. As of 2006 the school had some 1,493 students.
