The Palace of the Borgias (officially and in Valencian, Palau de les Corts Valencianes, Palau de Benicarló or Palau dels Borja) is an aristocratic palace of Catalan Gothic and Renaissance styles located in the city of Valencia, Spain. It is now the headquarters of the Valencian Parliament. The palace was constructed in the 15th century to be the residence of the Borgia family in the capital of the Kingdom of Valencia.

The Corts Valencianes (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈkoɾ(d)z valensiˈanes]), commonly known as Les Corts ([les ˈkoɾ(t)s]), are the main legislative body of the Generalitat Valenciana and therefore of the Valencian Community. The main location of the Corts is in the Palace of the Borgias in Valencia; however it can meet at any location in the Valencian lands. The Corts has its origins in bodies established in the thirteenth century by King James I of Aragon. The modern institution was established in 1982 under the Valencian statute of autonomy of 1982. The current Corts were elected in 2019.

Valencia (Spanish: [baˈlenθja]), natively also València (Valencian: [vaˈlensi.a, -sja]), is a province of Spain, in the central part of the autonomous Valencian Community. Of the province's 2.6 million people (2021), one-third live in the capital, Valencia, which is also the capital of the autonomous community and the 3rd biggest city in Spain, with a metropolitan area of 2,522,383 people it is also one of the most populated cities of Southern Europe. There are 265 municipalities in the province.

The Casa de la Ciutat (in Spanish: Casa de la Ciudad) or what it now call the City Hall, was in the place where today the Gardens known as de la Audiencia or more commonly the gardens next to the Palau de la Generalitat. It was therefore the headquarters of the Municipal Council of Valencia.

Valencia Cathedral, at greater length the Metropolitan Cathedral–Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady of Valencia (Spanish: Iglesia Catedral-Basílica Metropolitana de la Asunción de Nuestra Señora de Valencia, Valencian: Església Catedral-Basílica Metropolitana de l'Assumpció de la Mare de Déu de València), also known as St Mary's Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in Valencia, Spain. The cathedral was consecrated in 1238 by the first bishop of Valencia after the Reconquista, Pere d'Albalat, Archbishop of Tarragona, and was dedicated to Saint Mary by order of James I the Conqueror. It was built over the site of the former Visigothic cathedral, which under the Moors had been turned into a mosque. Valencian Gothic is the predominant architectural style of the cathedral, although it also contains Romanesque, French Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical elements. The cathedral contains numerous 15th-century paintings, some by local artists (such as Jacomart), others by artists from Rome engaged by the Valencian Pope Alexander VI who, when still a cardinal, made the request to elevate the Valencian See to the rank of metropolitan see, a category granted by Pope Innocent VIII in 1492. A purported Holy Chalice, believed by many to be the true Holy Grail, is kept in one of the cathedral's chapels.

The Archdiocese of Valencia (Latin, Valentina) is a Catholic ecclesiastical territory located in north-eastern Spain, in the province of Valencia, part of the autonomous community of Valencia. The archdiocese heads the ecclesiastical province of Valencia, with authority over the suffragan dioceses of Ibiza, Majorca, Minorca, Orihuela-Alicante and Segorbe-Castellón. The archbishops are seated in Valencia Cathedral. On 28 August 2014, Pope Francis appointed Cardinal Antonio Cañizares Llovera as the next archbishop of Valencia.

The Iglesia de San Esteban (in Valencian: Església de Sant Esteve) is a parish church located in Plaça de Sant Esteve in the city of Valencia, in the Valencian Community, Spain.

San Nicolás de Bari and San Pedro Mártir is a Valencian Gothic style, Roman Catholic parish church located in Valencia (Spain).

The Museu de Belles Arts de València (Valencian pronunciation: [muˈzɛw ðe ˈbeʎez ˈaɾdz de vaˈlensia]; Spanish: Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia; English: "Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia") is an art gallery in Valencia, Spain, founded in 1913. It houses some 2,000 works, most dating from the 14th–17th centuries, including a Self portrait of Diego Velázquez, a St. John the Baptist by El Greco, Goya's Playing Children, Gonzalo Pérez's Altarpiece of Sts. Ursula, Martin and Antony and a Madonna with Writing Child and Bishop by the Italian Renaissance master Pinturicchio. It houses a large series of engravings by Giovan Battista Piranesi. The museum is in the St. Pius V Palace, built in the 17th–18th centuries. It has also sections dedicated to sculpture, to contemporary art and to archaeological findings.

The Lonja de la Seda or Llotja de la Seda (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈʎɔdʒa ðe la ˈseða], English "Silk Exchange") is a late Valencian Gothic-style civil building in Valencia, Spain. It is a principal tourist attraction in the city.

La Plaça Redona, also called Plaça del Clot is a plaza located in the El Mercat(ca) section of the Ciutat Vella district of Valencia, Spain. It lies in the middle of the triangle formed by three nearby plazas: La Plaça del Mercat ("Market Plaza"), La Plaça de la Reina ("Plaza of the Queen"), and La Plaça de l'Ajuntament ("City Hall Plaza"). The National Museum of Ceramics and Decorative Arts "González Martí" (Spanish: Museo Nacional de Cerámica y de las Artes Suntuarias González Martí), located in Valencia, Spain, is a museum dedicated to ceramics (with special importance to Valencian ceramics), porcelains and other decorative arts such as textile art, traditional costumes and furniture. Housed in the Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas, it was founded on 7 February 1947, from the donation of Manuel González Martí's ceramics collection. Seven years later, once the restoration of the palace was completed, the museum opened to the public on 18 June 1954.
