The Bridge over Institute Street is a pedestrian bridge located at Independence Square in Kyiv that crosses over Institute Street. It is also known as the bridge of Heavenly Hundred.

The institute is located in Kyiv. It is named after Ukrainian orientalist Ahatanhel Krymskyi.

The Institute for the Ukrainian Language (Ukrainian: Інститут української мови) of the NAS of Ukraine is a research organization in Ukraine created to do thorough studying of the Ukrainian language. It is the Ukrainian coordinating center of research issues in the Ukrainian language. An activity of importance to the Institute is to consolidate the Ukrainian language as the official language in the lingual space of Ukraine, to reach the lingual harmony in the life of present-day civil society. Institute for the Ukrainian language was formed in 1991 and is located at the building of the Institute of History of Ukraine on Hrushevsky Street, in Kyiv. Director of the institute is a doctor of philology, professor Pavlo Hrytsenko who is assisted by a corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, doctor of philology, professor Vasyl Nimchuk, a corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, doctor of philology, professor Ivan Vyhovanets, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, doctor of philology, professor Svitlana Yermolenko.

The Rylsky Institute of Art Studies, Folklore and Ethnology (IAFE; Ukrainian: Інститут мистецтвознавства, фольклористики та етнології ім. М. Т. Рильського, Instytut mystetsvoznavstva, folklorystyky ta etnolohiyi imeni M. T. Ryl’s’koho) is a research institute in Kyiv, Ukraine, established in August 1936.

The Kyiv Passage (Ukrainian: Київський Пасаж; as in the French word Passage) is a building complex with a small, narrow street (passage) stretched through it. The street address of the building is Khreshchatyk, 15, city of Kyiv. Located between two parallel streets Khreshchatyk and vulytsia Zankovetskoyi, the passage runs parallel to vulytsia Arkhitektora Horodetskoho. The street has many small outdoor cafés and shopping stores on the buildings' first floors and residential apartments on the upper floors.

Hotel Dnipro (Ukrainian: Готель Дніпро) is a four-star hotel located in central Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on European Square, next to Khreschatyk Street and near Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square).The hotel was built in 1964 in a location which originally was occupied by Kyiv's Hotel Yevropa. The interior and design of the restaurant in the Hotel Dnipro was made by the architect Irma Karakis.Formally state owned, in July 2020 the hotel was sold to the private real estate company Smartland. Smartland won an open auction with their bid of ₴1,111,111,222.22 (about US$40 million (at the time)).

Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Ukrainian: Майдан Незалежності, (listen)) is a station on Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska line. The station was opened on 17 December 1976, and is named after Kyiv's Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) on the Khreschatyk street. It was designed by N. Kolomiiets, I. Maslenkov, M. Syrkyn, and F. Zaremba. The station was formerly known as Ploscha Kalinina, but was renamed a year after its opening to Ploscha Zhovtnevoi revoliutsii (Ukrainian: Площа Жовтневої революції). Maidan Nezalezhnosti forms a station complex with a transfer section with the neighbouring Khreschatyk station on the Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line. The station is laid deep underground and consists of a central hall with porticoes. The lamps which light the station are hidden in the niches between the columns and the walls.
