Sylvan Hills High School is an accredited comprehensive public high school located in the city of Sherwood, Arkansas, United States, serving grades nine through twelve. Sylvan Hills is one of four high schools administered by the Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD). Prior to 1956, Sylvan Hills School instructed students through grade nine until local citizens gathered to approve expanding the school to a senior high, resulting in its first graduating class in 1959. Then, because of the increasing population in the surrounding communities, the school moved to its current campus adjacent to its former facilities starting in the 1968–69 school year. In 2021, Sylvan Hills was ranked at No. 129 in the state and No. 7,757 in the U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools report.As of 2022, Sylvan Hills High's varsity sports teams have won 24 state championships across nine sports teams, primarily in baseball and girls’ track and field.

It is owned by the City of North Little Rock and located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) north of its central business district.This airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport for Little Rock National Airport.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned ORK by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned ORK to Cork Airport in Cork, Ireland).

The Frenchman's Mountain Methodist Episcopal Church–South and Cemetery is a historic church in Cato, Arkansas. Located at the junction of Cato, Frenchman Mountain, and Camp Joseph Robinson Roads, it is a single-story wood-frame structure, built in 1880 as a two-story building to house both religious services and the local Masonic lodge. The upper story, housing the lodge facilities, was removed in 1945. The congregation was organized in 1872 in Cato, the oldest community in northern Pulaski County. The church declined after most of the land in the area was taken to establish Camp Joseph T. Robinson, with the church now enclaved within its bounds.The church and its adjacent cemetery were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Greens at North Hills Municipal Golf Course is a municipal golf course located in Sherwood, Arkansas, United States. Construction of the 120 acres (49 ha) golf course began in 1927 during the "golden era" of golf course design. Originally named the Sylvan Hills Country Club Golf Course and developed by the Justin Matthews Co., the course was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010 due to its local significance and association with entertainment and recreation, From 1956 through May 2007, the golf course was named the North Hills Country Club.

The Dr. Charles H. Kennedy House is a historic house at 6 Edenwood Lane in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a single story steel frame structure, organized as three hexagonal pods joined by linear sections. The pods divide the house's functional spaces: one is for public living spaces and amenities, including the kitchen, living room, and dining area, one has the master bedroom suite, and one has a guest space and playroom. The exterior is clad in a combination of brick veneer and vertical board siding, and the roof is flat except for the pods, which have pyramidal roofs. The house was built in 1964 to a design by noted Arkansas architect Warren Segraves.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

North Pulaski High School was a public secondary school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas and served students in grades 9 through 12. North Pulaski was administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. Since 1979, North Pulaski has been accredited by the AdvancED. North Pulaski was merged with Jacksonville High School in 2016 as a part of the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District.

St. Joseph's Home is a historic Roman Catholic orphanage on Camp Robinson Road in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a large three-story brick building, with a tile hip roof and a stone foundation. The roof is topped by a cupola with a cross as a spire. The building is roughly H-shaped, with projecting wings on either side of central section. It has eighty bedrooms. It was built in 1910 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Little Rock.The facility was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Robinson Maneuver Training Center, also known as Camp Joseph T. Robinson, is a 32,000-acre (13,000 ha) Arkansas Army National Guard installation located in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. It hosts the Joint Force Headquarters of the Arkansas National Guard, the Headquarters of the Arkansas Air National Guard, the Headquarters of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade, the Headquarters of the 87th Troop Command, and the Camp Pike U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex. The installation is also home to three National Guard training centers: The National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC), the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center (NGMTC), and the 233d Regiment (Regional Training Institute).

Lloyd England Hall is a historic building at the northwest corner of 6th and Missouri Streets, on the grounds of Camp Joseph T. Robinson, an Arkansas National Guard base in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a Spanish Revival structure, designed by the Little Rock architectural firm of Thompson, Sanders, and Ginnochio, and built in 1931, when the facility was known as Camp Pike. Originally built as an auditorium and meeting hall, it is now home to the Arkansas National Guard Museum. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
