Charleston Springs, New Jersey

Ely is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is named for the Ely family that owned property in the area and operated the Charleston Springs hotel. Today, the settlement is located along Stage Coach Road, County Route 524, in the eastern portion of the township. Most of the area consists of large single-family homes though some farmland and the township-owned Brandywine Soccer Complex are located in the near the settlement.

Smithburg is an unincorporated community located where the municipal boundaries of Freehold, Manalapan and Millstone townships intersect in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. County Route 527 and Monmouth Road (County Routes 537/524) pass through the center of the quaint village of Smithburg.

Bairdsville is an unincorporated community on the border of Manalapan and Millstone townships in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is centered on the intersection of Woodville Road (County Route 527A) and Baird Road. Near the site of Bairdsville in Millstone is the Thomas Baird Homestead, a home owned by one of the first families to settle in Millstone.

Metedeconk National Golf Club, known colloquially as The Conk, is a private, 27-hole golf course located in Jackson, New Jersey off of I-195. The club is named after the Metedeconk River, the south branch of which runs through the property. Metedeconk National has hosted the Metropolitan Open, the New Jersey Open, and various state and NJPGA sectional events.

The Millstone Township Schools are a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Millstone Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising three schools, had an enrollment of 1,109 students and 93.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.Students in ninth through twelfth grades for public school attend Allentown High School in Allentown, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Upper Freehold Regional School District, which also includes students from Allentown and Upper Freehold Township. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,206 students and 89.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.5:1.

Holmeson is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As it is located along County Route 537 through which the Monmouth–Ocean county line runs down the center, portions of the community are also located in Jackson Township. Owing to its location near Interstate 195 and Six Flags Great Adventure, the community is mostly made up of gas stations, restaurants, and small businesses though the Jackson Premium Outlets occupies land just south of the community.The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08510. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08510 was 5,231.

Carrs Tavern is an unincorporated community in Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is located at the intersection of County Route 526 and County Route 571. Author Caren Lissner wrote about the settlement in her essay A Rumble and a Scream: "I took Carrs Tavern Road (though I couldn't find the tavern).": 52 

Millstone Township is a township in western Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The Township is located within the Raritan Valley region and is a part of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 10,376, a decrease of 190 (−1.8%) from the 2010 census count of 10,566, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,596 (+17.8%) from the 8,970 counted in the 2000 census.The township was named after the Millstone River, a major tributary of the Raritan River, and whose name originated from an incident in which a millstone was dropped into the river. The headwaters for the Millstone River originate in the township.The township has been ranked as one of the state's highest-income communities. Based on data from the American Community Survey for 2013–2017, Millstone residents had a median household income of $156,891, more than double the statewide median of $76,475 and ranked ninth in the state among municipalities with more than 10,000 residents.

Millhurst is an unincorporated community located within Manalapan Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Route 33 and County Route 527 (Sweetmans Lane) pass through the center of Millhurst. Much of the area consists of businesses along the aforementioned arterial roads with the Millhurst Mill at the CR 527 crossing of Manalapan Brook. The mill is a former grist mill built in the 1700s, rebuilt in the 1800s as a more efficient mill, and turned into a family business by Bernard Hochberg in 1925.

Vista Center is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Jackson Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 3,689.

New Jersey's 4th congressional district is a congressional district that stretches along the New Jersey Shore. It has been represented by Republican Chris Smith since 1981, the second-longest currently serving member of the US House of Representatives and the longest serving member of Congress from New Jersey in history. Although the 4th district had a presence in Mercer County for decades, it lost its two towns in the county (Hamilton and Robbinsville) following the redistricting process in late 2021, which was based on the 2020 census. The district is currently contained to Monmouth County and Ocean County. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+14, it is the most Republican district in New Jersey, and it is also the only one that did not elect a Democrat since 2018.

Turkey Swamp Park is a 2,388-acre (966 ha) county park and nature preserve in Freehold Township, New Jersey. Within the northernmost fringes of the Pine Barrens, the Turkey Swamp area is located on a ridge, being a major drainage divide within Central New Jersey. It includes the headwaters of the Manasquan that flows into Manasquan Inlet, and the Metedeconk and Toms River systems that flow into Barnegat Bay, to the east; the Manalapan Brook system that is part of the Raritan River basin, to the north; and the Assunpink and Crosswicks systems that flow into the Delaware River, and the Millstone River system that also flows to the Raritan, to the west. The chief recreational attraction of this park is the 17-acre (6.9 ha) lake suitable for bass, bluegill and catfish fishing, as well as canoeing and paddle boating. It is adjacent to the over 4,000-acre (1,600 ha) Turkey Swamp Wildlife Management Area.
