Charleston Springs is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Stage Coach Road, also designated County Route 524, is the main road that runs through the settlement, with Ely Harmony Road as the intersecting road defining the locality. The Manalapan Brook runs to the west of the center of Charleston Springs and CR 537 runs to the south of the area. The Monmouth County-owned Charleston Springs Golf Course is located one mile (1.6 km) northeast of the center of Charleston Springs on CR 527.

Smithburg is an unincorporated community located where the municipal boundaries of Freehold, Manalapan and Millstone townships intersect in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. County Route 527 and Monmouth Road (County Routes 537/524) pass through the center of the quaint village of Smithburg.

Bairdsville is an unincorporated community on the border of Manalapan and Millstone townships in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is centered on the intersection of Woodville Road (County Route 527A) and Baird Road. Near the site of Bairdsville in Millstone is the Thomas Baird Homestead, a home owned by one of the first families to settle in Millstone.

Carrs Tavern is an unincorporated community in Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is located at the intersection of County Route 526 and County Route 571. Author Caren Lissner wrote about the settlement in her essay A Rumble and a Scream: "I took Carrs Tavern Road (though I couldn't find the tavern).": 52 

Holmeson is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The Clarksburg School is located in the Clarksburg section of Millstone Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1925 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 12, 1999.

New Jersey's 4th congressional district is a congressional district that stretches along the New Jersey Shore. It has been represented by Republican Chris Smith since 1981, the second-longest currently serving member of the US House of Representatives and the longest serving member of Congress from New Jersey in history. Although the 4th district had a presence in Mercer County for decades, it lost its two towns in the county (Hamilton and Robbinsville) following the redistricting process in late 2021, which was based on the 2020 census. Perrineville is located 157 feet (48 m) above sea level and is centered on Perrineville Road (County Route 1) near Agress Road. A lake in the center of the community, Perrineville Lake, is a preserved area maintained by the Monmouth County Park System.Perrineville is home to the Perrineville Jewish Center, a synagogue established in 1910 in the center of the community. More than 130 families attend prayer services regularly, led by Rabbi Sheldon Schevelowitz.

Metedeconk National Golf Club, known colloquially as The Conk, is a private, 27-hole golf course located in Jackson, New Jersey off of I-195. The club is named after the Metedeconk River, the south branch of which runs through the property. Metedeconk National has hosted the Metropolitan Open, the New Jersey Open, and various state and NJPGA sectional events.
