Jackson Mills is an unincorporated community located within Jackson Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Jackson Mills is located near exit 22 on Interstate 195. It is also located nearby County Route 526 (County Line Road and Commodore Boulevard) and Jackson Mills Lake. The site was originally home to a sawmill owned by William Jackson (after whom the township may have been named). Today surrounding the lake are some houses and townhomes, small businesses, and the Jackson Township Veterans Memorial Garden, though this area of the township is more rural than other more suburbanized portions of it due to the higher density of forest.

Metedeconk National Golf Club, known colloquially as The Conk, is a private, 27-hole golf course located in Jackson, New Jersey off of I-195. The club is named after the Metedeconk River, the south branch of which runs through the property. Metedeconk National has hosted the Metropolitan Open, the New Jersey Open, and various state and NJPGA sectional events.

Harmony is an unincorporated community located within Jackson Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.Harmony is located near exit 22 on Interstate 195 and is also located near County Route 526 (County Line Road). Originally the area was largely rural with a mix of farms, forest, and some houses along arterial road but by the late 1990s/early 2000s, housing developments were built and the area is now mostly suburban.

Turkey Swamp Park is a 2,388-acre (966 ha) county park and nature preserve in Freehold Township, New Jersey. Within the northernmost fringes of the Pine Barrens, the Turkey Swamp area is located on a ridge, being a major drainage divide within Central New Jersey. It includes the headwaters of the Manasquan that flows into Manasquan Inlet, and the Metedeconk and Toms River systems that flow into Barnegat Bay, to the east; the Manalapan Brook system that is part of the Raritan River basin, to the north; and the Assunpink and Crosswicks systems that flow into the Delaware River, and the Millstone River system that also flows to the Raritan, to the west. The chief recreational attraction of this park is the 17-acre (6.9 ha) lake suitable for bass, bluegill and catfish fishing, as well as canoeing and paddle boating. It is adjacent to the over 4,000-acre (1,600 ha) Turkey Swamp Wildlife Management Area.

Georgia is an unincorporated community located within Freehold Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Exit 22 on Interstate 195 provides access to Georgia via Jackson Mills Road (County Route 23). There is also a road in the area called Georgia Road (CR 53), leading to Turkey Swamp Park. Georgia sits at the northern reaches of the Pine Barrens and numerous housing developments are located north and east of the settlement.

Jackson Memorial High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades in Jackson Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, opened in 1963 as part of the Jackson School District. It is the sister high school of Jackson Liberty High School, which opened in late summer 2006. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,568 students and 108.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.4:1. There were 194 students (12.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 76 (4.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Jackson School District is a comprehensive community public school district, serving students in kindergarten through twelfth grade from Jackson Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The district operates six elementary schools serving grades K-5, two middle schools and two high schools. In January 2015, the Jackson Board of Education voted to implement full-day kindergarten, which was introduced in September 2015.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising 10 schools, had an enrollment of 8,304 students and 665.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.5:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. Smithburg is an unincorporated community located where the municipal boundaries of Freehold, Manalapan and Millstone townships intersect in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. County Route 527 and Monmouth Road (County Routes 537/524) pass through the center of the quaint village of Smithburg.

Charleston Springs is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Stage Coach Road, also designated County Route 524, is the main road that runs through the settlement, with Ely Harmony Road as the intersecting road defining the locality. The Manalapan Brook runs to the west of the center of Charleston Springs and CR 537 runs to the south of the area. The Monmouth County-owned Charleston Springs Golf Course is located one mile (1.6 km) northeast of the center of Charleston Springs on CR 527.

The Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine is a Catholic co-cathedral and parish church located in Freehold, New Jersey, United States. Along with the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in Trenton it is the seat of the Diocese of Trenton. The parish was founded in 1971, the church building was dedicated in 2002, and it became a co-cathedral in 2017.

Freehold Township is a township in western Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Crisscrossed by several major highways, the township is a commercial hub for Central New Jersey (home to the Freehold Raceway and Freehold Raceway Mall) and is a suburban bedroom community of New York City, located within the Raritan Valley region of the much larger New York Metropolitan Area. The township is located roughly 38 miles (61 km) away from Manhattan and about 20 miles (32 km) away from Staten Island. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 35,369, a decrease of 815 (−2.3%) from the 36,184 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn had reflected an increase of 4,647 (+14.7%) from the 31,537 counted at the 2000 census.Freehold Township was first formed on October 31, 1693, and was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798. Portions of Freehold Township were taken to form Upper Freehold Township (c. 1731), so some wills and official records following the split referred to "Lower Freehold Township" although the official name has always been Freehold Township. Additional portions formed Millstone Township (February 28, 1844), Jackson Township (March 6, 1844), Atlantic Township (February 18, 1847; now Colts Neck Township), Marlboro Township (February 17, 1848) and Manalapan Township (March 9, 1848). Freehold town was formed within the township on March 25, 1869, and formally separated when it was reconstituted as a borough on April 15, 1919, including additional portions of the township.The Battle of Monmouth was fought in June 1778 in what has been preserved as Monmouth Battlefield State Park, which is in Freehold Township and Manalapan Township.

Freehold Township High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Freehold Township, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, and is part of the Freehold Regional High School District. The school serves students from portions of Freehold Township, and from parts of both Howell Township and Manalapan Township. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1976.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,007 students and 127.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.8:1. There were 202 students (10.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 36 (1.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.
