The Standard Oil Service Station (also known as the Daniel's Standard Oil Service Station) is an historic service station site in Plant City, Florida, United States. It is located at 1111 North Wheeler Street, on the southwest corner of Wheeler and Cherry Streets. On September 6, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The station currently houses a pet store and grooming business.

The North Plant City Residential District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on May 27, 1993) located in Plant City, Florida. The district is bounded by Herring, Wheeler, Tever and Palmer Streets. It contains 73 historic buildings.

The Downtown Plant City Historic Residential District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on August 12, 1998) located in Plant City, Florida. The district is bounded by North Drane, Thomas, West Tever, Franklin, and Carey Streets. It contains 185 historic buildings.

Plant City is an incorporated city in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States, approximately midway between Brandon and Lakeland along Interstate 4. It is part of the Tampa Bay area. The population was 39,764 at the 2020 census. Despite many thinking it was named for flora grown at plant nurseries (especially vegetables and fruits, as well as tropical houseplants) in its subtropical Gulf Coast climate, it was named after prominent railroad developer Henry B. Plant (see Plant System). Plant City is known as the winter strawberry capital of the world and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival in the late winter (usually in February or early March), which is attended by people from all over the United States as well as many people from around the world.

The Downtown Plant City Commercial District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on June 8, 1993) located in Plant City, Florida. The district is bounded by Baker and Wheeler Streets and the Seaboard Coast Line RR tracks. It contains 38 historic buildings.

The Plant City Union Depot is a historic train depot in Plant City, Florida, Florida, United States. It was built in 1909 and was crucial in the development of Plant City. The city was named after Henry Plant, who introduced railway lines to improve the transport system in Central and Western Florida. The architectural design is credited to J.F. Leitner. It is located 102 N. Palmer street near Northeast Drane Street, and was built by the Plant Railroad System and the Florida Navigation and Rail Co., which later became the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad (ACL) and Seaboard Air Line Railroad (SAL). These two lines became more commonly known as the “A Line” and “S Line” after the two railroads merged, which happened when the depot was still operational. The ACL tracks ran east and west. The SAL tracks ran north and south and contained a Railway Express Agency loading dock. The southbound station served ACL trains bound for Tampa and Sarasota and the other station served SAL trains bound for Sarasota, Boca Grande, Naples and Miami. Plant City Union Depot continued to operate until 1971. It was about to get torn down by the city in 1974, but was saved Plant City Arts Council. On April 14, 1975, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S Department of Interior. Plant City Union Depot was converted into and renamed as the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum in September 2013 and is open to the public. It is named after Robert W. Willaford in honor of his contributions to this conversion project and his dedication towards trains.

Blackwater Creek Nature Preserve is a 1,993-acre (807 ha) area of conservation land in northeast Hillsborough County, Florida near Plant City. Hikers can enjoy 6 miles of sunny, grassy hiking trails winding through the open pine flatwoods to an overlook on Blackwater Creek.

State Theatre is a historic theater building in Plant City, Florida. It is located at 111 W. J. Arden Mays Boulevard. The theater opened in 1939, closed in the 1950s and was then used as an antique and collectibles store (State Theatre Antiques). The pink building with blue trim is an example of art deco architecture.

The Bing Rooming House Museum (also known as the Bing-Washington House) is a museum in a historic residence in the Lincoln Park neighborhood Plant City, Florida, United States at 205 South Allen Street. It was built about 1928 as a boarding house and was operated by Mrs. Janie Wheeler Bing for African-Americans who were not allowed to stay in segregated white hotels or eat in white restaurants. On September 14, 2002, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It has been renovated. The museum is open Monday through Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm.
