St Joseph's Church, Aldershot

The Princes Hall in Aldershot, England is a 600-seat theatre / receiving house which presents a varied programme of music, ballet, comedy, pantomime and vaccination. An additional three function rooms named the Princes Suite, the Edinburgh Suite and the Tichborne Suite (after the prominent Aldershot family) are available for hire for conference, parties and weddings. The Theatre is owned and managed by Rushmoor Borough Council. Rowhill School is a special school in Aldershot in Hampshire for vulnerable secondary school pupils aged 11 to 16 who are unable to attend mainstream secondary education for a variety of reasons, including being at risk of permanent exclusion or who cannot attend a mainstream setting for medical reasons. All pupils have a statement of special educational needs that is primarily for their behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. A significant number of pupils also have additional needs associated with, for instance, their autism or speech and language difficulties.A pupil referral unit situated on York Road in Aldershot, the school opened in 2017 with new facilities after a £5.5 million refurbishment project on its Victorian premises. While the school has a capacity for 90 pupils the actual number on roll is actually in the low teens or less. The headteacher is Mrs Urmilla Choubae. The school was formerly the Linden Centre in Farnborough in Hampshire before relocating to the present site with its new name. As the Linden Centre the school received an Ofsted rating of "Good" after a full inspection in 2013, a rating that was endorsed for the new school following a short inspection in 2018.Located in the redeveloped and extended former West End Infants’ School, built by the Aldershot School Board in 1898, the new school has a large two-storey extension with 12 classrooms, including science, food technology, design technology and hair and beauty studio, a hall, dining room, staff room and administrative offices and an outdoor workshop area.

The Theatre Royal was a theatre in Aldershot in Hampshire which opened in 1891 and was demolished in 1959. The teenage Charlie Chaplin appeared there in 1904 and the actor James Mason is believed to have made his stage début at the theatre in 1931.

The 1972 Aldershot bombing was a car bomb attack by the Official Irish Republican Army on 22 February 1972 in Aldershot, England. The bomb targeted the headquarters of the British Army's 16th Parachute Brigade and was claimed as a revenge attack for Bloody Sunday. Six civilian staff and a Catholic military chaplain were killed and 19 were wounded. It was the Official IRA's largest attack in Great Britain during "the Troubles" and one of its last major actions before it declared a permanent ceasefire in May 1972. Official IRA member Noel Jenkinson was convicted and imprisoned for his part in the bombing.

The Prince Consort's Library in Aldershot Military Town in the English county of Hampshire was founded by Prince Albert to contribute to the education of soldiers in the British Army. Today it is the military specialist library of the Army Library Service, specialising in the provision of information on current military topics, political subjects and international relations in support of operations, intelligence, training and education in the Armed Forces. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Hippodrome was a theatre in the town of Aldershot in Hampshire. It operated as a venue for variety shows, pantomimes, musical comedies and other shows from 1913 to 1961. When Peter Sellers appeared there in 1948 he complained that the band accompanying his drum act were four bars behind as they were eating their sandwiches while they were playing.
