Mud Mills is a hamlet in the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located three miles (5 km) north-northeast of the Village of Newark, at an elevation of 427 feet (130 m). The primary intersection in the hamlet is at Welcher Road (CR 234) and Mud Mills Road. N.Y. Route 88 passes just north of Mud Mills. A historic 2+1⁄2-story grist mill (built c. 1804) is located along Ganargua Creek on Mud Mills Road. The facility remained in operation until 1969. It has been reputed that this grist mill is the last in Wayne County with the mechanics still intact.

Colburn Park is a ballpark located in Newark, New York, US. It is home to the Newark Pilots (2011–present) of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League and was the home for the Newark Co-Pilots (1968–1979) and Newark Orioles (1983–1987) of the New York–Penn League, the Newark Barge Bandits (1995–1996) of the North Atlantic League and the Newark Raptors (1998–2005) of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. US Post Office-Newark is an historic post office building located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It was designed and built in 1911–1913 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, James Knox Taylor. The original, main block is a 1-story, five-by-three-bay building clad in stucco and executed in the Classical Revival style. The large rear wing was added to the building in 1938–1939.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Jackson–Perkins House is a historic home located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It is a Tudor Revival style residence purchased in 1864, rebuilt in 1889, and remodeled to its current form in 1921–1922. It was once the home of the Jackson and Perkins families, who once operated a large rose growing facility nearby known as Jackson & Perkins Company. On the 2.66-acre (10,800 m2) property are elements of the original landscape design including the entrance drive, access path, formal fountain in a garden setting, greenhouse foundation, and many mature trees and shrubs.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006 and is currently a bed and breakfast.

East Palmyra Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at East Palmyra in Wayne County, New York. It is a vernacular Romanesque style brick and stone church built in 1868–1869. The front facade features a square tower composed of stone capped brick buttresses, a belfry articulated by brick pilasters and corbelled brick trim, and a tall, octagonal spire.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Dipper Dredge No. 3 is a historic dredge located at Lyons in Wayne County, New York. It is a steam-powered floating dredge located at the dry dock of the New York State Barge Canal at Lyons. The dredge consists of a rectangular riveted steel hull built in 1929 and measuring 110 feet in length, 34 feet in beam, and 7 feet in draft. The bow of the hull is squared and vertical. The stern is squared but inclined in the manner of a scow. In 1946, fuel bunkers were added to the sides of the hull. Much of the machinery, including the steam engines, was built in 1909.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

East Palmyra is a hamlet in the Town of Palmyra, Wayne County, New York, United States near the Arcadia town line. It is located five miles (8 km) northeast of the Village of Palmyra and 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the Village of Newark, at an elevation of 443 feet (135 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Tellier Road (CR 225), South Creek Road and East Palmyra-Port Gibson Road. A United States Post Office was located in East Palmyra with a ZIP Code of 14444. It permanently closed on September 20, 1997.The East Palmyra Presbyterian Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Ganargua Creek, also known as Mud Creek, is a main tributary which feeds the Erie Canal and Clyde River in Wayne County, New York, United States. The creek begins just east of the village of Victor in nearby Ontario County and meanders approximately 34 miles (55 kilometers) from west to east before emptying into the Erie Canal in the hamlet of Lyons. Ganargua Creek is actually split into two sections as it runs concurrent with the Erie Canal for about 3 miles (5 kilometers) near the village of Palmyra. Numerous tributaries feed Ganargua Creek along its route. Ganargua Creek is part of the Clyde River watershed which feeds the Seneca River. From there, the Seneca River enters the Oswego River and into Lake Ontario. The name Ganargua has been translated as "where the village sprang up" or "a village suddenly sprang up", and the name was given to by the creek by the region's original Iroquois inhabitants. The nickname of 'Mud Creek' is given due to the murkiness of the water. Ganargua Creek is a primary spot for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Even though a channel has been cut through the foliage, paddling trips on the creek can be difficult due to a number of log jams from fallen trees as a result of ice storms which hit the greater Rochester area in 1991 and 2003.
