Lock Berlin is a hamlet in the Town of Galen, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located four miles (6 km) west of the Village of Clyde and three miles (5 km) northeast of the hamlet of Lyons, at an elevation of 404 feet (123 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Old Route 31, Stokes Road, Lock Berlin Road (CR 245) and Maple Street. N.Y. Route 31 passes just south of Lock Berlin. Remnants of the former Enlarged Erie Canal Lock 54 (also called the Berlin Lock) are located at Lock Berlin Park on the corner of Gansz Road and Peters Road, just off N.Y. Route 31. It was a double-chamber lock built in 1841, and had a lift of 7.70 feet (2.35 m) to the west.

US Post Office-Clyde is a historic post office building located at Clyde in Wayne County, New York. It was designed and built in 1940–1941 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is a 1+1⁄2-story steel-framed, brick building on a raised foundation with a limestone watercourse, in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a mural by artist Thomas Donnelly executed in 1941 and titled Apple Pickers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Smith-Ely Mansion is a historic home located at Clyde in Wayne County, New York. It is a large, 2½-story brick masonry residence featuring elements of the Classical Revival style. The original house was built about 1850 and extensively altered in 1875–1877. That renovation added an extensive verandah and 3-story tower. The front is dominated by a colossal, four-columned portico added during a renovation dated to 1908–1911.The Erie Mansion has been known through the years as the Smith-Ely Mansion. Today it has been transformed into a bed and breakfast and renamed The Erie Mansion.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Towar–Ennis Farmhouse and Barn Complex is a historic farm complex located at Lyons in the Wayne County, New York. The contributing elements of the complex include a vernacular Greek Revival style farmhouse, two barns (one with silo), a carriage house, a corncrib, a smoke house, a stone retaining wall, and a hitching post. The farmhouse consists of a two-story, three-bay wide, sidehall plan main block built in 1832, with a 1 1/2 story side wing added in 1852. A rear kitchen wing was added in 1986. The main barn was built in 1852. The complex is representative of rural agrarian farmsteads of the 19th and early-20th centuries in the Finger Lakes Region.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Alloway is a hamlet in the Town of Lyons, Wayne County, New York, United States near the Ontario County line. It is located three miles (5 km) south of the hamlet of Lyons, at an elevation of 433 feet (132 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are N.Y. Route 14, Alloway Road (CR 339) and Sohn Alloway Road. Alloway was named for Alloa, Scotland, the original home of Captain Henry Towar, who built a gristmill, a sawmill, and two stores in the community.A historic octagonal cobblestone building (built 1832), formerly a blacksmith shop, is located on the corner of Alloway Road and Water Street in the hamlet, just off N.Y. Route 14. There was a land office (built c. 1835), also located in Alloway. It has since been moved to the Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford, near Rochester.Towar–Ennis Farmhouse and Barn Complex is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The complex consists of a contributing stone church building begun in 1838, a contributing frame rectory begun about 1833, and a contributing parish house built in 1887–1888. The church building is Gothic Revival in style and constructed of rubble limestone walls with cut limestone trim. The rectory is an irregularly massed two story, wood-frame building incorporating a former private residence built at this site about 1833 in the vernacular late Federal / early Greek Revival style. The parish house is a single story, frame building designed in the Queen Anne style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The district consists of a T-shaped commercial area that encompasses a section of the Erie Canal and includes structures dating from the 1830s to 1890s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
